— Open Blog OK, it looks like Ace is too busy having a life to post this, so I'll put it up myself. Via Marc Ambinder, a video of pure awesome hilarity from outside the Florida/Michigan rules dispute:

A popcorn cabal has to be behind all this-there just isn't any other reasonable explanation.
I mean other than the fact that the Dims aren't so much a political party as they are an organied peeve.

Only a liberal could shout what do we want (something stupid) when do we want it now!
It is annoying entitlement mixed with primative stupidity and they just can't help themselves. How do these people get elected, hell how do they tie their shoes. aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrr!!!

By the time you are my age, you know what you want and you know what you don't and have no patience with those who try to tell you what you should or should not think or do.
I'm neither a dem nor a Hillary supporter, but I've come to despise Barack Obama, so, against all that is holy, I'm rooting for Hill.

Good stuff. I think she's both justifiably a) angry with the voting and b) annoyed with the security(?) guy and his ID tracking. I'd like to have seen a longer sequence to see more context, but a voter/delegate who raises opposition within the family only to get harassed for doing so seems heavy handed.
The only thing that would make this election more fun would be Hillary losing via scheming to Obama at the convention and then Hillary announcing an independent run making '08 a three-way.
I don't think there'd be enough popcorn to get me through.

And if she were not such a socialist with her "it takes a Village" bullcrap and her universal health care/raise taxes crap.
I do think she would/will modify her stance on Iraq. I think she is a smart woman who will listen to the Generals and in the end, do what is best. Besides, I think it will be a moot point by November anyway.

"Rush, you magnificent bastard."
Amen to this! The Republican establishment is to stupid to undertand just how brilliant is the doctor of Democracy. And I say this as a former brain-dead liberal' mugged by reality one Sept morning who began to listen to Rush in 2003.
I cannot help thinking just how stupid I was before that day came along. I guess I have been improving because I finally started tuning into Mark Levin about a month after McCain received the nomination.
I have experienced Change and this gives me Hope; who needs O!

El Rushbo better be careful, he has made the RNC look like a bunch of incompetent panseys...of course since they are incompetent panseys, El Rushbo doesn't need to worry about them.
I would love to see El R do unto Peolosi what he did to Hawwie Reid!

Well, I think the republicans might have their first general election campaign comercial if Obama get the nomination.
"this isn't about being a democrat, this is about being an American. And if Obama get the nomination, I'm afraid"

That lady gets my applause. My faith just got a booster shot watching her fight for every vote to count--be that democrat or republican so far as I'm concerned.
There's been a lot of antagonism towards the Ferraro generation, much older than this lady in the video, from the left for speaking out, and from the right for speaking out. But I'm glad to hear them fight rather than roll over with a wimper.
ItÂ’s never right to push your mother or grandmother under the bus. The womenÂ’s libbers of the Â’60s were not anti-war demonstrators so much as they were WWII vet wives whoÂ’d been dumped for newer models after bearing their husbandÂ’s children and reaching the age of 40. THESE aging democrat women are NOT the Code Pink losers. Do not be so stupid as to compare those two populations merely because they are both comprised of female Democrats. However, these aging democrat womenÂ’s children WERE the anti-war protesters of the Â’60s; and those anti-war demonstrators are the very politicians in the DNC who are throwing their mothers under the bus. As Obama does, so does the DNC. Despite 50 years of service to the Democrat Party, these aging women who are avid voters have been disenfranchised by their children. There is no karmatic excuse for bagging your mom and tossing her into the river because she wouldnÂ’t just go along.
So give Ferraro her microphone and let her have her say. Although she didnÂ’t suffer as her constituents did all those years as her life was privileged, none the less, Ferraro has consistently represented her constituents, the wives of WWII vets and their daughters. More power to her; she has the balls to confront the bullies in her party.
McCain is counting on their vote.
The DNC needs a house cleaning, anyway. The odd thing is that for all of the equal rights that white women fought for on behalf of blacks and all American minorities, thereÂ’s no gratitude for the woman. Michelle Obama has a special place in mind for older white women. And Ferraro ainÂ’t going there without a cat fight. This is as close to NASCAR as one could wish for in the race to the White House. WeÂ’re witnessing where equal rights draw the lanes for traffic that will eventually affect the GOP as popular dynamics go.

Democrats are "obsessed with every vote?"
Looks like she bought into the bush stole the 2000 election thing.
Maybe she should check Mark Herron's memo about Military absentee voters: http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:fWHsVsNXHSsJ:www.freerepublic.com/f...
(kind of crude-a google cache of a freerepublic mirror of Drudge's original post, but it's there - thank you Newsbusters)
Sheesh sweetheart, just because YOU believe it doesn't make it true.
Oh yeah, you democrats do love to count votes, sometimes over and over again until the outcome satisfies you. WA-GOV 2004 anyone? 3 times until Gregoire won, then "Okay, we're done! It looks right now."

The WACs and the WAVs were dispursed by the same mentality that still governs the DNC. Whereas, female members of the military today are promoted by the same mentality that continues to govern the GOP. Even Eisenhower had the good sense to change parties before campaigning for POTUS.
The Democrat Party that populated the KKK is fronted today by the NAACP and ACLU. Never mind that the first blacks appointed to national posts were Republicans, and that MLK plagarized the GOP black delegate speech from the Republican National Convention by Reverend Archibald Carey, Sr.
ERA & NOW also enjoy the DNC shackles of liberation: Werk macht Frei.
Welcome to the GOP big tent, minorities all.

Yea.. I know. But it's also fun to read the opinions of the Hilary supporters on there. Many of them hate Obama, and many of them say they will vote for McCain. Not sure if they are legit, but some percentage of them must be.

And they'll sign up ANYONE, real or not. Google ACORN registration to see what I mean. Obama is allied with this group.
Unfortunately, their machinations have usually little impact. The axiom related to the original beneficiaries of the franchise holds true. Most voters who vote consistently continue to be white male landowners.

I just figured it out. Democrats have this strange propensity for finding reasons to stay depressed. Did any of these people learn that rules/laws count? This is the 2000 election all over again...I remember the press saying Bush would actually win the popular vote and lose the electoral college and the Dem's were fine with that until the opposite happened.
In this primary season, the dolts in the crowd were fine with the rules because they thought Hillary was going to annointed. OOP's the rules got in the way again!!! Let's have every vote count after we know the results and our candidate is losing. This is the problem with a culture that glorifies political correctness and that has a party that relies on victimhood and self-hate. Unfortunately this time, the victims were victimized by the the self-flagullating, protectors of the wronged. I think we need to take these people out back and give them spanking.

AS IF the DNC holds consistency a virtue--
If so reference again Ted. K.'s comment re: DNC Mich/Fla 50% vote/delegate recognition rationale according to their Chairman, the party mustn't reward those who break the rules--so adjust the DNC stand re: illegal immigrants accordingly.
The only consistency in politics is to expect the shaft, McCain included. But what you see is what you get with McCain whose cards are all out on the table. Whereas excavasion on Obama not only links him with the Black Panthers, SDS, FARC and Hezbollah, but with IRAN funding his POTUS campaign! Berry, better than most politicians, illustrates the phrase, the more things change the more they stay the same.
Who in their right mind wouldn't be relieved to hear people like this woman on video have their say within the DNC in the national dialogue?

#19 Richard Romano - there is a big difference between John McCain and either of the Democrat contenders. John McCain has a history of not hating the United States or the bulk of its population. Based on personal history that cannot be said about either Sens. Obama or Clinton.
Terrible that the choice falls to which person doesn't hate the country they are campaigning to lead, isn't it?
