The relentless hordes of the freshly dead are nearly as frightening as vaginas.

I still don't know how the hell you're supposed to even make it past a few boards in these games.

Duh: If you're a moron like me you probably need to be told that after each level you can allocate how many hours you're devoting to repairing the barricade, scavenging for weapons, and searching for survivors. Don't just leave them all at zero like I did.

That might be a good idea, Ace. There are only 20 levels in the entire thing, so it won't take that long to beat. I ended up getting all of the weapons save the AK-47. The best weapon, by far, is the sawed-off shotgun. I used it practically the entire time, with the M4 as my backup. But whatever you do, don't use the regular shotgun. It sucks...horribly.

8 The best combo is any gun plus the chainsaw. I beat all 20 levels using the UMP and the chainsaw. Nothing like sawing through a bunch of zombies.

10 I was disappointed that I only got to use the Barrett .50 for one short level.

The best combo I found for the rest was the shotgun & chainsaw.
The trick is to pause when you start to reload the shotgun, it will
continue loading and then when finished you can go back to the game
without the zombies overwhelming you and destroying your barrier.

15 I thought the shotgun was awful. Reload took forever.

The Barret was pretty much the utlimate weapon. The chainsaw was pretty disappointing. One dumb round a zombie fat lady is ripping at my barricade and I'm going back and forth trying to saw her and for some reason I couldn't hit her. So I chucked that one.

The AK-47 was my second favorite. I think the hunting rifle was my third.

Beat the game easily after I realized I had all that time to allocate.

Not like that Lovecraft one, which was impossible.

16 Ace, you just didn't figure out how to use the weapons.

Shotgun: sucks if you reload one shell at a time. So let it reload a bunch of shells before starting to shoot again. And use the "R" button to trigger reloads at breaks in the action, not just when empty.

Chainsaw: you actually have to use the move controls for this. You can't move straight up and down the barricade, it's at a slight angle so you have to go back and down (and forward and up, or eventually you'll be too far back to hit the zombies). Also wiggle the mouse up and down to make sure you're targeting correctly.

Obviously, the two are complementary.

19 Once I got the Uzi it was over.

50 rounds, high ROF, relatively quick reload, and spread over distance for multiple zombie killing win.

Sawed off shotgun and AK are tied as 2nd favs. Sawed off might actually be a bit better, though, because it seemed to be able to clear the damn dogs that get into that bottom corner and nothing else can hit.

20 Head shots with the AK with chainsaw as backup. Hated both shotguns because they took too long to reload.

22 Fun little game. I agree with Ranba Ral -- the Uzi and its 50 round capacity carried the day for me. The chainsaw helped clean up a few messes. (Or was that make a few messes?)

What I want to know is what happened when the helicopters arrived. Were the soldiers there to rescue us? Were they there to enforce a zombie quarantine and kill me and my 6 fellow survivors?

Or were they part of the Dan Simpson Disarmament Force? If so, night #21 would be Game Over for me and my brave comrades. The only chance I'd have is if it were hunting season and I had previously registered my weapons. I'm sure I couldn't break into the gun museum, due to the heavily armed guards. Of course, maybe they were going to take me to jail, since I had scavenged all the weapons and was on the hook for an $8,000 fine and 8 years in prison. I hope there aren't zombies in the joint.

Shotgun and magnum. When you start to reload, hit escape. It freezes all the zombies in place, but you continue to reload

I found that out on accident. Was using shotgun, and then a friend instant messaged me, so I paused it. Makes the game too cheap for me to exploit it any more than that though.

25 Another tip, this time from afformentioned buddy, whom I sent the link to. Keep looking for weapons even when the wall fills. He found a barret .50 that way.

26 HAHAHA!!!

Was playing this yesterday. Its super easy, but it is fun. Sawed off is the best until you get the rifles, but they'll probably nerf it soon. The sawed off will fire once you see the 2 in the reload, it doesn't have to go throught the full animation before it'll fire. The trick is to find as many survivors as you can, then focus on the runners and dogs, the spray from your shotguns will hit others, combined with your allies fire most of the slow zombies will get cut down before they get close, though you may have to blast a few, theyll hardly touch your wall. This game is super easy, but it is fun.

27 Ahh, find survivors (try and find all six+yourself), then focus on weapons, You'll lose a few guys hunting for gear, but you'll find all the guns, and then focus on getting survivors, then if you want repair your wall. (My wall doesn't go below 80 for the whole game)

Once you get the Baretta, it's all over. One shot kills like 6 people.

Beat it on the first try. Loaded up on survivors the first couple waves, then it was all cake.

The last gun, the Barett, is definetly the best. It's a Golden Gun.

You shoot them once in the leg and it drops 2 zombies.

But I'd recommend something with a higher rate of fire for backup for when they charge...and you don't get it until the last 2 levels or so (at least I didn't).

The Uzi is insanely good. Probably better then the AK because of the large clip capacity.

I'd say the best combos are:

Barret/AK-47

Uzi/Sawed-off shotgun
