Elections during occupation are a joke.
U.S. succeeds if country is partitioned, not if united by democracy.

"Freedom for whom? Freedom for American corporations to loot Iraq’s resources!"
"Our American soldiers have died to protect oil interests and to finalize the vendetta Daddy Bush failed in after evicting Hussein from Kuwait.
"We want to believe it is about freedom. It keeps us the good guys. It is about the oil."
"I really can’t imagine how those 2000 deaths have rendered any of these readers more free…beyond, of course, the fact that we’ll be free to drive our SUVs around for several years longer. I’d really like to reconfigure her letters to spell oil"
The moonbats still seriously believe that this is some kind of war for oil/SUVs/Corporations.
How f*cked up can some people be? It aggravates the crap out of me that they'll cheapen the sacrifice of the men and women dying over there simply because they hate George Bush.
That some people make money on any conflict is simply a fact of life, not evidence that this war was for profit to begin with..
The oil is in the hands of the Iraqi government, but they simply ignore that fact.
You're disgruntled, fine, we get it. But spouting this mindless crap that the sacrifice was for anything other than freeing 25,000,000 Iraqis cheapens the sacrifice.

He's a douchebag.
BTW, go Dawgs in the Sugar Bowl... it pains me to say it, given the fact that LSU blew it so badly in the SEC Championship... but hey, credit where credit's due.

Seems to be a trend amongst liberal cartoonists these days. Ted Rall anyone?

tmi3rd, thanks. We GA grads are proud of this year's team. I'm also quite pleased that LSU thoroughly thumped Miami Friday night. It says something about the SEC when the runner up is that good.

I would be HORRIFIED.
Luckily, they aren't rebeling so far and one is as rightwing as I am and the other is apathetic towards politics because he has heard too much about it his whole life. (But he does vote Republican thank God, at least that is what he tells me) He says that alot of Repbulicans make him sick, but ALL the Democratics do.
