— Dave In Texas I know, it's more NFL junk. But a bit of a noteworthy accomplishment for the Detriot Lions, who scored 34 points in the 4th quarter to beat the Bears.
Quite a comeback. Even the Bills coming back against the Oilers in '93 did more of their scoring in the 3rd quarter, not the 4th.
I don't know what's worse. Losing to the Lions. Or losing like this to the Lions.
It's special, I'll give you that.

Wow. You mean there's someone even more inept at late-game playcalling than Kevin Gilbride? I'm shocked.
Not about the upset, about how Gilbride's still got a job.

Let us never speak of that again.
Except for: Beebe stepped out of bounds, and that was pass interference in overtime on the interception.
Now, let us never speak of that again.

I figured they would kill the lions, so that was a big shot to my picks this weeks.
Now I have to root for tomorrows game just to get even!!

Detroit was only down 10pts in the game.
The record wasn't for biggest comeback, it was for most points in the 4th quarter.
It was a tight game until Detroit exploded (and Bears imploded) in the 4th quarter.

It was a great game!
I finally get to see my team in action again--the last time I saw them move & shake was pre-Barry Sanders, it was #20 Billy Sims in '83!! Now that was a team!!

Not a good weekend for Chicago area football teams.
But those of us who are from Michigan are loving it. But then, as long as jenny-poo is running the State, we have to take our comfort where we can.

Super Bowl? Pats v. Cowboys.
I'm from Detroit, and this team is a year away. This year's edition is still worth watching, though--they win ugly games and they don't quit. The last is a new phenomenon in these parts. And for fans of Air Coryell: Kitna is usually good for 35 pass attempts.
