Not to give too much personal information away, I live half way between both of these schools.
AP covered the story, but the local papers neglected to. Don't want to give proper recognition to genius, I suppose.

Oh come on! It was only 3 days IN SCHOOL suspention. That means they sat in a room and their teachers sent their assignment to them. Big whoop. The kid said he was inspired by the Yale/Harvard prank, so he gets props for that, and he got off his lazy ass and actually did something. He wasn't out doing crime, he was thinking how to get the other guys without going overboard and illegal.
It was fucking brilliant.

Who cares about getting suspended. It's worth it. Those dudes are lucky they got caught.
Now all of their peers will know how funny they are. Which is worth more than a 3-day suspension.

Doesn't mean it wasn't worth it. Doesn't mean the principal's not laughing over it. And doesn't mean the punishment has any sort of deterrent effect.
From the AP article:

"It was sneaky, knifing and down right clever," he said Wednesday. "But we'll get them back."

I like the duck prank. I imagine a little halftime show for cover with the duck deployment in the flurry. After the show the performers exit and there's a duck crapping center court staring at all the people. I can also imagine a fat school administrator in a bad suit chasing the duck. It's a fun picture.

And someone, somewhere, probably has the super 8 of it. Andy your imagination is just about right. Except it wasn't a school administrator, it was a half dozen cheerleaders, because it ended up on the floor BEFORE their half time show (that might have been the intention; either that or the duck was just getting too rowdy in the bag I smuggled him in in -- can't exactly remember.)
