Researcher Dr Sharon Hinchliff asked 46 women aged 20 to 83 about their views on sex.
Ninety per cent thought casual sex was wrong and only 10 per cent admitted having a one night stand.
Women of all ages were judgmental of those who sleep around, with some of the younger women being harsher than the pensioners.
The women also had double-standards, with some of those who had had one night stands in the past saying it was wrong for others to do so.
Women have one standard for themselves and another for other people? There's the real bombshell in this study.

Women really do worry about being "slutty". They have a kind of "dickometer" imbedded in their psyches, and they really do worry about red-lining the thing. And women will often seek out former partners for occasional sex just to avoid increasing their "dick counts".

Yeah, they say it's immoral ONLY because that makes it more "dirty" and thereby more fun. If it's a universal opinion, then I guess the quotes used to excuse the behaviour are passed out in a pamphlet apparently titled "Why one night stands are immoral, and what to say to clear your conscience before, during and after a one night stand."

I don't call my skankification (at that time) immoral, it was a good looking kid with all the right cards, doing what a good looking kid with all the right cards does. Wow, that was enlightening....my first thought was you had held youself above the whole process....but upon reading your response....I think touhe!...my point actually was....that both parties were equal....and everyone can change or regret and move on. That is what makes a great person...to not keep making the same mistakes that might eat at your soul!
I choose not to believe that ALL men nor ALL women are any one way.....but instead look at "people" on an individual basis.
My personal ethics are what allow ME to sleep peacefully at night. Everyone has their own code of ethics and sense of right and wrong and what allows them to sleep peacefully at night.
