— Ace Wacky hijinks?
Okay, here's some wacky hijinks of my own. The Seattle Stranger's address is:
1535 11th Ave ( Third Floor), Seattle, WA 98122
How do you guys feel now? Perhaps a little worried? Perhaps a little fearful that some unhinged partisan might do something untoward to you?
Kinda creepy that a partisan site has signaled you out and publicized your location to potentially dangerous fringe-types who may wish to do you harm, huh?
Welcome to the party, pal. Enjoy the diminished sense of security and heightened sense of fear you just inflicted on others.
Perhaps you should consider such things before all but placing a bounty on people who dare to vote against The One.
Thanks to Maetenloch. Posting the address was my idea, not his.

Those guys need some more of those signs with the electric shocks...stat! Maybe they should have an impromptu pit bull convention...or maybe a second amendment convention?

Heh.
on another note - for Halloween I'm the stand by the door parent while my wife takes the kids out. I got myself an Obama Halloween costume to wear.
Instead of handing out candy, I'm redistributing the candy of the kids who come to the door.
When the kids come to the door I take a look at the bags, reach into the heavier ones from the kids that went round the block three times and give some of that to the lazy kid who doesn't want to walk so much.
It's making me *real* popular. I may have to put the cars in the garage tonight.

The other option to electrifying your sign is to get some blue oil paint and paint a 1/2" stripe around the border that matches the color of background.

I went and read the comments on that Strangler site. Even the garden variety moon bats said it was too much. Actually, several said it was using GOP/Rove/Limabaugh tactics. As if... I reminded those dingle berries (yes! stong meat! I said dingle berries!!!), that college students were arrested for hanging an Obama effigy but doing so with Palin's is all good clean halloween fun, right?
We ALL know who is doin' the repressin' here, don't we?

I think that can be construed as incitement to violence. If anything does happen then that rag, and the people behind it, can be held liable.

I learned something new this week while purchasing my new baby.
Don't buy stainless no matter how much "prettier" they are than the matte black finish. The sales guy said "Stainless catches the light and, while it might scare an intruder out of the house, it's just as likely to cause them to shoot first."
So, I bought the matte black.
*was that subtle enough?

Ayers.Wright. Alinsky. Pfleger. Dohrn. Cloward. Piven.
There have been haters of life throughout history. These people codified their hate, broke it into bite size chunks and force fed it into the captive masses of American youth. They wrote lesson plans on destruction. They propagated their chaos .

Ace,
I know you've mentioned it before, but I honestly think this is the next frontier in the media bias battle. A lot of these guys - AP writers in particular - are unknown to the regular public. I think every time there's an objectionable article or piece - then we should go all "joe the plumber" on the journalist. Home address, photo, appeals to college classmates for embarassing stories. Fighting "above the fray" hasn't worked. We have to sink to their level. We need to make biased reporting a risky proposition. What do you think?
Posted by: ja at October 31, 2008 03:54 PM (iVJ0d)
See, this is why there can't be a federal shield law because if there was, there would be no fucking liability for whatever damages these worthless cocksuckers incite, plus Ace would be guilty of a goddamn hate crime for publishing the addresses of these guardians of democracy.

The problem here is it's asymmetrical warfare. While we are upset, we also recognize law and order and basic individual rights. I can say to a fair degree of certainty that nothing will happen to the idiots' office. They, on the other hand, make up the vast majority of all felons. They are also the party that believes "by any means necessary" and "the ends justifies the means" and are likely to do things like put a beatdown on a 75 year-old man.

Per the masthead, Tim Keck is the publisher of "The Stranger."
There's only one "Tim Keck" listed in Seattle and a quick check of political donations and a Google search on Comworks (the business listed on the political contributions) and "The Stranger" confirms it to the point where it's an address (and phone number) for the guy who publishes the paper that publishes street addresses of people with McCain signs.
That'd be "Tim Keck"
Google Satellite shows the address to be a non-residential location.
Just sayin'.

No, but we can do legal payback and retribution, big time.
Someone the other day mentioned faxing five pages of carbon paper to the LA Times.
Stuff like that.
Enough stuff like that, we start to build an atmosphere of deterrence. They won't feel free to act with impunity.
And our 100,000,000 guns will certainly help.

Now I don't encourage any violence---just as I alluded to on their comments wall---but the age of the internet kind of reverts us to a national league type of analogue where if you're ballsy enough to run a 95 mph fastball under someone's chin, you better be prepared for the retaliation.
And oh yeah, Ace, you can post the information.

That is, we are playing by the wrong rules. We are playing by rules that have no meaning, whatsoever, to our opponents. I am disheartened to admit the fact that we may have to play by Alinsky's rules - that is, by no rules, whatsoever.
Or.
We must find a system of argument that denies the Alinskyites - or refutes them outright. This is not about Obama anymore. This is about the rules he, and his fellow travellers use to infuence, to deflect, to squash. To what purpose, though? Well, yes, that is something we have to answer - and that is, inevitably, our ace in the hole because Alinskyite like Bambam have no fucking clue what the outcome of their brand of hopiness and changiness is. We define that, we win - eventually.
