— Ace I'd wished that more tuned in to "Lie to Me," just to get people "sampling" the show and helping its ratings down the line. Not because I'm a fan of the show, but simply to teach the networks, and thereby Obama, a lesson about NOTUS' once-a-month primetime press conferences.
But apparently the show just isn't much of a draw, or else everyone assumed, wrongly, that all networks were carrying Obama. It got a meager 2.4 rating, as compared with, for example, ABC's 1.6.
More Hollywood Stuff: Actress Robin Wright files for divorce against loutish thug husband Sean Spicoli Penn.
The innuendo from the article is that a large number of women have "befriended" Spicoli during his marriage.
The immediate cause of the divorce is Wright's discovery of a torrid love affair between Spicoli and Venezuelan tyrant/temptress Hugo Chavez. "My God, he did it right out in public, even cavorted around with him on TV!" a close friend of Ms. Wright said. "It's disgusting!"

I posted last night--the following sponsors were on for Lie to Me:
Ford, Visa, McDonalds, and Wolfman Wolverine.
Buy an Explorer, pay for your Big Mac with your Bank of Insolvency Visa, and catch the matinee.

Let's put it this way:
Fox *made* money while the President was talking.
All the other channels *lost* money while the President was talking.
-
The only question is whether Obama will consider Fox's revenue during this time to be Windfall Profits.

Plus, with all the cable offerings these days, it's not like the major networks have a monopoly, like they used to have; people have more choices.

The link was too busy for me to access, Ace. So I couldn't see if there were any numbers out for NBC's latest episode of Honest Cloud's Out of the Closet. You see, yesterday was supposed to be the "outing 'traitor' queers and Christianists" season finale and I wanted to see if the O Presser as its lead-in helped its ratings amongst the 18-24 troll demographic.

Obama has become the cousin Oliver of network TV.

Found out yesterday the fake President from 24, is a full blown rug muncher.
She's got a hot little chippie actress she gets to do some muff diving on.

I'm surprised she stayed with angy, bitter, latent homosexual, Sean Penn, for this long.

Does no one remember the lead-up commercial before the first "Lie to Me" aired? It showed Dick Cheney and used different supposed "tics" to say he was lieing.
It was fucking annoying and I swore to never watch the show after that.

They are actually pretty balanced with showing politicians. Bill Clinton's been shown a few times, as was B.O. and his flipping off of John McCain.

You're joking, right? To me there is a difference calling out a sitting Vice president, and also a difference in the tone it was done in.
But hey, when they go pull that shit on Obama now that he's president then maybe I'll watch the show.
Won't hold my breath though.

The local FOX affiliate here showed the TOTUS speechifying.
I was in Vermont and the local Fox also broadcast the speech from the FNC coverage. It pissed me off because I didn't want to watch Obumbles and the cable network also doesn't regularly carry the FNC broadcast. Note that MSNBC, CNBC and CNN are carried by the cable company.

Well, there is a shortage of perfect breasts in the world. Would be a shame for Sean Penn to get to go home to them every night.

Have you seen the program, or just the commercial? Cheney was used as an example of contempt, not deception. Also, Obama was used as an example while he was a sitting president.
There are plenty of things to be angry at the media for, but I don't know that this is one of them. By the way, the quality of the program is just meh.

Looks like the Princess Bride isn't going to have her "Happily Ever After"--quelle surprise! Wasn't Sean also a wife beater too (Madonna?) Those great lefty men of Peace and Substance always engage in bad behavior.

Perfect breasteses? Forget that. There are lots of us wimmins out here with PRP: Pot Roast Potential. So Robin's boobs will hit the floor one day, but I'll still be putting killer meals on the table day after day. That's why cookbooks outsell sex books, 3 to 1...

Yeah, you busted me. I only ever saw a couple of commercials. It was enough to turn me off to the show. I'll admit I'm pretty knee jerk against popular media anymore.

That Lie To Me show is anti-Conservative agitprop, nothing else.
It's garbage, plus it's incredibly stupid and insipid.

Really? Because I think Wright is kinda hot. Then again, no one ever accused Spicoli of being too bright. Or bright at all. Or able to fart without shitting his pants.

Last night dealt with double cross within the Intelligence community, and in the personal relationships between cast members; the issue of trust.
Granted, it won't be long for Tim Roth to have spoofs on his head cocked to the side to scrutinize a face from below, more stylized than David Caruso's impersonation of Hawaii Five-O's star, Jack Lord.

Thank you! Nicely done on the Caine/McGarrett linkage. I don't watch CSI: Miami much, but I was wondering why the mannerisms seemed so familiar.
