Palin's Email Hacker May Soon Be Caught
Plus -- the AP Won't Release the Emails to the Secret Service, Naturally

— Ace

Lock him up.

The AP, of course, will not turn over to the Secret Service the principle evidence in a major federal crime.

Gee, I wonder if they'd cooperate if Obama's email sessions with Scarlett Johanssen had been hacked.

1 I like how they try to breeze past the fact that they refused to cooperate in bringing a criminal to justice and make it a story about Palin doing something wrong. And these morons wonder why no one trusts them anymore.

It's a long shot, but please let the hacker be somehow involved with the press or the Obama campaign... *crosses fingers*

3 clobbergirl,

I don't think it's much of a long shot.

Obama campaign staff have been total fucking bastards.  The press doesn't give a shit, but they aren't just slamming Palin for being a working mom.  Obama while smirk and let the red handed fuck go, knowing he has hundreds more.

It's lame as hell.  'anonymous' was doing at least a bit of good against Scientology before the clueless started using the name for their own stupid activities.

Even with a proxy, it is very difficult to be utterly anonymous on the internet if you attract the wrong kind of attention.  ATT, the NSA, etc. have better tech than these criminals.  Yahoo does too.  I hope someone goes to prison for years for this, but the press is more concerned with how Michelle Obama is one of the ten best dress women of 2008 (People Magazine), and OBama is chiding Mccain for the economic problems that Mccain correctly predicted and Obam took bribes to protect.

Thank goodness a lot of people are seeing through this shit.  Not enough people yet to really lead to reforms, but if the democrats don't find a way to destroy the internet and alternative media, it's only a matter of time before the outrage at RINOs and Pelsoi style plutocrats becomes a storm of reform.

4 I wonder why, and regret now not having it done myself, nobody screenshotted the /b/-tard claiming to have done it. He explained how he got the password - actually he guessed the secret question in case the password is lost - and posted some screenshots of presumably Palins email.

I say presumably because as soon as I realized that this was not one of the many hoaxes done on /b/ I got the fuck out of that thread.

Again "Anonymous" is not a secret code but the default username when posting on the board type used by the these tards - *chan's basically - without entering a unique name in the name field.
*chans do not have registered users - only mods and admins have credentials they have to enter in order to usually ban idiots and delete threads (like say "I hacked Palins account and this are the emails lololol"

Warning to justifiedly enraged people trying to talk to some sense into these idiots: Don't. At best you'll get ignored as an copy pasted troll of an earlier attempt to talk sense to them. At worst, if you leave something ID'ing you especially, you get the Palin treatment.

No, thats not not sane on their part. Won't stop them from doing it though.

5 Yup, I heard about some poor guy that was mistaken for some scientology thug by some of the 4chan losers.  They took apart his life, piece by piece.  Email, hacks, phone threats, family members getting the same.

These guys are criminals, and sadly, their abuse of the internet is a huge threat to it.  We will not be able to have the kind of freedom on the internet when the public demands the government fix these problems.  Frankly, I don't know if I mind too much.  4chan should get the same treatement child porn does (hell, they do have child porn on there... I  can see why so many of these people hate Palin and love Obama).

6 It's a long shot, but please let the hacker be somehow involved with the press or the Obama campaign.

Or??

The unfortunate thing with these thugs is that they really don't need top down marching orders, kinda like how all the SJS's  (Sudden Jihadi Syndrome's) don't really need Osama to tell them what to do.

Last Fri. here in Indiana there was a "gas panic" going around, everyone insisting that "Gas is already $5 in....insert town here...!!!" One of my customers told me she got an anonymous text message on Fri. that read, "Gas is five dollars a gallon in Fort Wayne, milk is four dollars a gallon. Vote Obama '08"

They don't need orders to be treacherous hoods or misery mongers. It's their default condition

Posted by: nightwitch at September 17, 2008 11:29 PM (dfTf5)

7 Actually child porn is about the only way some loser can garner attention, read troll, on /b/. The fuckheads get quickly* banned and reported to the FBI.

*if a mod is awake and responding to the reports.

The fuckers who do this can all go die in a fire and sometimes they spill over to other boards. Where they get the same treatment.

Oh and of course we got fuckheads - or trolls pretending to be - from NAMBLA and other poster children for post natal abortion defending their right to free speech. By posting CP. The fuckheads get quickly* banned and reported to the FBI.

*if a mod is awake and responding to the reports.

The fuckers who do this can all go die in a fire and sometimes they spill over to other boards. Where they get the same treatment.

As for politics: RON PAUl. Seriously that place probably held 75% of the rabid Paulians when he was "in".
They fucked off to other places or lost interest when the /n/ board was redesignated form /news/ to /trains/. Reason: /n/ was overrun with racist, sexists, rabid atheists, theist of all stripes. truthers you name it. That place made /b/ look civil. And /b/ sometimes actually has useful posts.

8 It's like Watergate--but with less accountability. Obama has an army willing to break into the private records of all his enemies list. He (presumably) needed to involvement at all. Will he take any responsibility for the acts committed on his behalf? Should he?

Posted by: erik at September 17, 2008 11:54 PM (sO+lz)

9 erik, at least in my opinion: yeah, Obama is absolutely to blame.  I ordinarily would think the opposite, but as Palin has been piled on more and more, and more harshly, Obama (aside from his initial smirking BS 'leave her alone'), has done nothing.

When Obama's senior staff attack Palin, Obama does nothing.  He's given his sychophants clear instructions, albeit unstated, to trash her.  It's the only way Obama knows how to campaign.  In Chicago, he would trash opponents right off the ballot, using the press and democrat judges.  He did it to Bill and Hillary and he's doing it to Palin.  He needs to fire those on his staff who have trashed Palin, he needs to fix his ads, he needs to act like a human being and not support the press with appearances unless the press acts rationally.  Otherwise, his message is clear.  And I sincerely believe he is deliberately acting in a way to encourage his supporters to do this crap.

Look at Mccain: it's pretty fucking clear that attacking Obama for Reverend Wright or 'secret' muslim stuff is not what Mccain wants us to do.  Why?  Because Mccain is a leader, and he told us what he thought was OK and what wasn't.  He didn't smirk from the sidelines.  He knows he's the face of a party that isn't 100% in love with him, but he still took charge and said 'That isn't OK by me'.

That's the difference.  Obama can't lead like Mccain, and doesn't want to.

14 Ha, nice one for the anonymous folks.  If only the poor boy hadn't shat himself in fear and actually dumped the whole lot on the net to see.  Somehow I doubt that breaking into someone's personal email is actually an offense that can be punished by years in jail, although with the GOP in charge I'm sure a stint in gitmo can be arranged.

29 Lest we forget,

Watergate was the stupid attempt to burglarize documents proving the DNC direct production of prostitution at their convention for publication.

In comparison, Netgate wins WORST EVER GATE hands down!

Netgate is not just burglary. Netgate was not to prove the RNC organization's guilt of corruption for publication. Netgate not only has all of the legal ramifications that Ace posted yesterday regarding POTUS protection applying to candidates in campaign. Netgate, besides attempting to coerce the direction of the POTUS election, IS A HATE CRIME against the specified female minority VP candidate.

APGATE endorses hate crimes against heterosexual women POTUS VP candidates. APGATE endorses theft of personal identification from typical American families. APGATE proves that the AP believe we are their slaves, their property.

30 HA,

Breaking into a secure computer across state lines is a Felony.  Felonies, by definition (this is easy knowledge, but you probably didn't know), are punishable by a year in prison or worse.

This kid, when caught, will go to prison.  His crimes are serious as hell.  If someone did this to Obama, it would be the lead story on every paper, and there would be 60 minute specials on all networks.  Congress would hold hearings.

Now, Gawker is trash to post this, but it's newsworthy and they won't be punished by criminal law.  That's too bad, but it's the truth.

31 Isn't this how Obama got elected in Illinois in the first place: his opponent was smeared by secretly leaked court documents? This democratic embrace of these tactics of totalitarianism that they are now engaged in is just heartbreaking.

They are becoming the monsters they imagined themselves to be fighting.

I am seeing this sickness spreading into my lefty friends. That is really pissing me off, not at them but at the slime masters that are feeding them this crap. The language the topics of attack, the hate; at times it appears that some are becoming uneasy perhaps but since they see the polls turning they cannot bring themselves to stop.

How long is it before my friends are encouraged to turn on me because I am a Palin supporter?

And will my friends actually take that step?  Some did briefly during the initial Palin Hate Fest and then backed off and apologized for their behavior.  But now, now they keep getting egged on by these smear merchants.

That is why this damn election is becoming personal to me.

That is why I will support McCain Palin even if McCain starts waving Mexican flags while Palin sings “I’m a teapot” in the background.

Obama is filled with good intentions.  Good intentions that inspire decent people to act like monsters.  What is happening now is just a foretaste of what could be.

36 At the VERY best, Obama is at the lead of a horde that feel there is no limit to what they should do to win at all costs.  This has been shown to be the case in every race he's ever run.  That's the very best, either that he's innocent of leading the smear campaigns, or that he's such a naif that it all gets done without him getting a clue.

Of course, my opinion would be that the fish rots from the head down, and that Alinsky runs Barry's campaigns from beyond the grave.  I'm not buying the 'innocence' routine any more.

I'm trying very hard to resist my ugliest impulses.  When the sliming first started, I fantasized about starting terrible rumors about the Obama's, spending hours cutting and pasting disgusting smears everywhere I could.  To the extent that I toyed with making those fantasies real, my own revulsion stopped me dead in my tracks.

And now, my temptation to give in, to allow myself the pleasure of saying, "It's on!  No quarter... hit back hard, and harder, and make them regret starting this war."... I'm still resisting, and the line is still there.

I start to wonder if this isn't some kind of Pavlovian bell ringer's intent.  Maybe these people have become so angry and full of hate that they're deliberately pushing and prodding to induce that kind of reaction.  Maybe they're looking for an excuse to take this war of theirs to the next level, and provoking the people they hate into attacking.

Ace said something a while back about Obama's campaign being so eager for someone on the right to say something blatantly racist, that they were on the verge of saying it themselves.  He said it better, and funnier, but it seemed true, and obvious, to me.  I'm seeing that in every aspect of this election.  Pushing and prodding, trying to get us angry enough to hit back, wanting to keep their illusion of righteousness so they can tell themselves that we "started it", changing the definitions of fair and decent with every ramp up.

I'm resisting, like everyone else so far, but I know the line exists, and I'm afraid that they're not going to stop until they cross it.  And then all hell breaks loose, and we lose everything we value.

67 I agree with the post above saying we should now tell the AP to go fuck themselves and start posting and linking evry goddamn article they run.  They are a bunch of  socialists who are trying to steer this election.  We stopped Dan Rather in 2004 and we can stop these motherfuckers too.

"The perps were found and directly linked to the DNC and Chuck Shumer."

I find it deeply troubling that this is news to anyone.  And they weren't "directly linked" to Schumer.  "Directly linked" could be spun as something as innocuous as they were some guys who lived in his neighborhood (unless we're talking about Obama, in which case there is no connection whatsoever).  They WORKED for him!  As in: on his staff (okay morons, leave that one alone please).

69 Hell, if the broken security occurred on Yahoo! then let Yahoo! provide the identity of the hackers to the Secret Service. Yahoo! provided blogger identification to the Chinese government that prosecuted mere free speech with imprisonment and/or torture. Yahoo's reason: compliance under the law of the nation wherein business is conducted.

So spill the beans, Yahoo!

79 The AP will eventually have to give it up, but that may be a year from now.
They will sit on their duffs till the election is over.

Isn't that what subpoenas are for?
Move your ass, Justice Department!

I just phoned my Senators and Congressman to ask them to make some things happen at Dept. of Justice--on this issue, and also on the issue of Obama's violation of the Logan Act (a very serious felony) over in Baghdad.

I urge everybody to do the same.

Rebecca:

You do not want to engage in dirty tricks against Obama.  It would backfire.  Also, you can call him a freind of real terrorists, a liar, a empty suit, a waster of 150 million bucks of education money that he spent helping Ayers add Marxist themes to communities Obama Organized.

You can say all kinds of other stuff... the crooked scheming with Fannie Mae, the Rezko house, the present votes, the pathetic two memoirs with no accomplishments, the staff that ignores his 'commands' to lay off the sexism and other attacks.  Not to mention that he was a member of his own version of the KKK for 20 years, Wright's little hate-cult.

Trust me, while your rage is right, all you have to do is tell the truth about Obama.  Every American who knows the truth about Obama and loves this country will vote for Mccain.

But just looking at Palin, it's clear that attacking her unfairly has helped her somewhat politically.  It's still disgusting, and I think she would rise regardless, but it would backfire fiercely if Obama was smeared.  I actually think Obama wants conservatives to slime him.

81 The AP, of course, will not turn over to the Secret Service the principle evidence in a major federal crime. Then they should get their search warrant, show up at AP's office(s), and seize all the computers on the premises.

82 It's like Watergate--but with less accountability....

...and orders of magnitude greater criminality. There are so many dirty tricks going on that even if Limbaugh, Hannity and Levin were to spend their entire combined airtime doing nothing but exposing them, they'd only scratch the surface.

Ever see that movie The Perfect Storm? It showed the deadly synergy of three different storm systems colliding.

Obama is the perfect political storm. He is the nexus of the Communism of William Ayers, the militant Islam of Hamas and the shari'a thugs in Kenya, the dirty-tricks expertise of the Chicago political machine, and the bottomless pockets of one-world-government pusher George Soros.

The movie The Perfect Storm gave me nightmares.

But not as bad as the ones from Obama!

Yeah Shill, I agree that the truth should be damaging enough, but why then hasn't it been?  It isn't just that the MSM has run it, or that Stanley Kurtz hasn't yet come up with the damning evidence, because, if it were, the people who pass this stuff along by word of mouth would be able to generate enough outrage to get it out there.

Even the conservative people in my own life, who I know would be disturbed by this if they heard it on the news, react to what I tell them guardedly.  When you're used to hearing newscasters report trivial crap in Dramatic tones, there's an expectation that they would report anything that they could verify with equal histrionics.  It's not that they don't trust me, or even that they don't believe that my sources are trustworthy, it's just that they've been trained to wait until some journalist tells them it's something to care about.

It's a common movie plot.  Hero finds out about some evildoer.  Evildoer frames Hero.  Hero has to get the evidence and put it out on the Magical Television Station that instantly displays said evidence on every television set, even the giant screens in Times Square, while the Whole World is Watching.  Evildoer is exposed.  Crowd turns on him in rage.  Hero is exonerated and goes home for some well-deserved rest in his own bed - usually not alone.

We keep thinking that if we could just find the evidence and get it uploaded to the Magical Television Station, the world will finally see the truth, but we're idiots who've been hypnotized by Hollywood as much as anyone else.

It's so very frustrating.

Sarah Palin thinks big, powerful people shouldn't impose their "choice" to kill on little, vulnerable, innocent people who need big people's protection and nurture. Shame on her!!! Destroy her by whatever means necessary!!!

They've been attacked by everyone from the Church of Scientology to the Pentagon to the Chinese government; it's unlikely that they disappeared over this. In any case, apparently the Secret Service couldn't just type in the following. http://wikileaks.org/wiki/Sarah_Palin_Yahoo_account_2008 If anyone from the Secret Service is reading here, perhaps they could just use that address instead of mucking about with the AP.

McCain has hit the MSM, but it's now time to take it to a commercial.  "The MSM has been vetting BO for 2 years and SP for two weeks, what do we know about them?".  Annenburg Challenge - $Xs spent on what?, Rev. Wright - he said he never heard anything like GD America but in his first book he states that the church appealed to him in part based on concepts like "white man's greed leads a world in need" - the MSM had no interest in reconciling that.  SP Personal Life - her email was hacked and the MSM said "there may be evidence against SP in this". Etc.

I certainly blame Obama for some of this but I think that's really a secondary target.  Obama has benefited from the MSM's cheerleading but it's not O falling down on the job - it's the MSM.  I think independents will like a - I'm sure Obama's associations are all innocent but why didn't the MSM even take a look? - approach by McCain.  I'm probably in the minority but I don't fear Obama as much as I fear the MSM in an O presidency.  Pravda for the 21st Century.

Drudge has it.  A State Representative's son in Tennesee.

For once, you don't have to guess the party - you already know.

NASHVILLE – The son of state Rep. Mike Kernell has been contacted by authorities in connection with a probe into the hacking of personal e-mail of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, Kernell told The Tennessean.

Kernell, a Memphis Democrat, said his 20-year-old son David had been contacted by authorities investigating the hacking of Palin’s personal e-mail account, the newspaper reported on its Web site this afternoon.
