4 I predict Mr Sam will get cut or quit.

He is going to get his candy ass kicked so hard in try outs, I think he'll quit.

The picture of him kissing his white wife at drudge is not going to sell in any locker room.

5 >>>2 Cake, anyone? Posted by: Michael Sam at May 11, 2014 04:35 PM (jYxCp) It's cake girl or nothing. Sorry champ. And isn't it funny, everyone had him at a 6th or 7th round pick. And then he came out. And he went in the 7th. Almost like the GMs don't care about PC, they care about wins. I wish him all the best.

8 Clearly, America will remain a fascist, homophobic theocracy until bearded trannies can play middle linebacker in a hot pink miniskirt. A nation's progress and freedom can best be measured by how flamboyantly gay it is.

13 The wife and I are draft junkies. When Sam got the call and cried, we said, "Aw, that's nice. Good for him." When he hugged his boyfriend cheek-to-cheek with some caresses, we said, "OK, fellas, we can get the cameras out now and give them some privacy. We get it." When they cut to the analysts and then cut back for a kiss, we said, "Alright, enough already, we're happy for you. You don't have to rub our noses in it." Another cut to the studio and back, and he's smooshing the cake in his boyfriend's face, and we throw up our hands and say, "Enough already!" Another cut to the studio and back and he's licking the cake off of his boyfriend's face. "Oh, for fuck's sake!"

Then we realized., "Ohhh, they don't want tolerance, they want a reaction. Well, congratulations, you got it."

18 Missed the Mothers day thread but this is the 9th since Mom left us. And I still miss her every day but know she is up in heaven working in her garden. When I last touched her casket I told her I loved her, she was the best Mom a kid could ever ask for and did not say goodbye but that I would see her later Happy Mothers day, Mom. Some of her favorite lines that I'll never forget: Who died and left you boss? Well, it didnt just get up and walk away by itself. We'll see about that when your father gets home. All good things come to those who wait. The most devastating thing she ever said to me (and I deserved it) was I love you, but I really don't like you very much right now and I'm very disappointed with you. Cut me to the bone, stopped me in my tracks and made me straighten up and fly right ever since. Thanks Mom, still miss you, love you and I won't disappointment you ever again and I will see you later.

20 I was worried about the eastern Ukraine referendum coming so early. Because Putin said he was against it being held this early, I figured they hadn't been able to finagle the voting yet but it looks like I was wrong.

It'd be a real shame if Gazprom pipelines began getting sabotaged especially with the upcoming (IIRC) Russian credit downgrade and with summer coming up in western Europe. (BTW, my spellchecker gives "Gazpacho" as the suggested correction for "Gazprom"!)

61 Mexico to legalize vigilantes fighting drug cartel By Alberto Arce (AP) May 10, Yahoo ...Vigilante Irineo Mendoza, 44, drove down from his mountain hometown of Aguililla to register his gun with authorities this week. He plans to take the weapon back home with him because, he says, the Knights Templar (cartel) remain hidden in the mountains. "These are the guns we are going to fight them with," Mendoza said. Many predict little will change after Saturday. "This (demobilization) agreement is just something to please the government," said Rene Sanchez, 22, a vigilante from the self-defense stronghold of Buenavista. "With them or without them, we are going to keep at it."

83 #76. On "accepting" gays. Gay already had a meaning. " Queer" , on the other hand, fully describes the action. There can be no progeny from a queer relationship. Even from the get go. It's a zero sum relationship . The " acceptance " outcome from a queer relationship relates back to the " acceptance" of the zero sum relationship of the playboy philosophy of the '60's. All pleasure, no consequences. No consequences, true pleasure. Children are punishments. All that matters is "Getting your rocks off".
