Somebody from Fox needs to ask Bambi what role Ms. Pritzker will play in his administration.

Doesn't matter; we can't use her in an ad, either way. If she's white, it will be racist because it will look like we are implying that Obama is fucking all our white women.
On the other hand, if Pritzker is black, we'll look like racists for linking black people to the financial crisis.

Read through the link and didn't read one word about the jews.
As a lifelong Republican and a Concerned Christian Conservative who makes 140,000 a year, we all know who caused this mess.
Also, cocksucker.

My only question is whether, as Obama's Finance Chair, Pritzker also decides which McCain events Obama's top financial bundlers will attempt to disrupt.

My old man once told me that the problems of this country stem from the fact that we have 6% of the world's population and 66% of the worlds lawyers. The overwhelming occupation of the 535 representatives in congress is lawyers.

Any bets on the chances of an criminal charges against this woman or any of the others who employed fraud to create this crisis? Any bets that nothing will be done to prevent donations to political campaigns by unions or corporations? Any bets that those government leaders who pushed these loans will remain richer than prior to this crisis? Any bets that this will cost more than the war in Iraq?
We need a change in this country but many Americans would rather hear lies than hear the truth.
A pox on every politician and bureaucrat.

True story: the failure of this bank was a very big deal at the time. The Democratic controlled Senate Banking Committe held a hearing on it. I attended this hearing. There might have been some significant dirt revealed in that hearing that would have finished the Pritzker family. Unfortunately, it was cut short after 20 minutes because a plane was on its way to crash into the Capitol. It was September 11, 2001. If I were a real conspiracy-theory nutjob I might say hmmmmmmmmm.
I will also remind eveyone that the crappy lending practices that got Superior Bank into trouble happened on Bill Clinton's watch. And for all you liberal assholes reading this blog, Gramm-Leach-Bliley had nothing to do with it either!

This is just more ripe fruit for Old McCain to pick and throw at Obama. And it's low hanging fruit.
Instead, he goes on a rant about Wall Street greed and corruption. Sometimes he makes it real hard to support him. I wish he would just stick to fundamentals.
That's how to beat Obama.

Superior, co-owned by Pritzker family trusts, began focusing on subprime loans in 1993, according to the FDIC Inspector General's report. At the time, Pritzker was the board's chair. She left the board in 1994 and continued as a director of the bank's holding company. In 2002, the Pritzkers agreed to pay, through trusts, $460 million in a settlement with the government relieving them of liability.
"I regret that Superior Bank failed," Pritzker told USA TODAY. "My family voluntarily agreed to pay the FDIC $460 million without litigation or any allegation by federal regulators of wrongdoing. I am proud of how my family responded to this situation." UAStoday, April 2008
Looks like this is old news and not in any possible way illegal. In fact, she and her family are looking like great and generous patriots!

It would be nice if the Pritzkers would come off with some of that money that they agreed to pay to get out of being held liable.
So far, they have not paid a dime.
Meanwhile, more than a few people have lost nearly their entire life savings.

The fortune is now a bunch of shell holding companies that wield awesome power in Chicago political circles.
As a woman, Penny Pritzker receives preferential treatment for all the companies she owns. Chicago has quotas for city and county spending that must go to female owned firms.

From the S-T today:
Property tax bills are about to hit Chicago mailboxes -- and it's gonna hurt.
Poor, heavily minority neighborhoods trying to make a rebound will get the worst of it. Homeowners in Fuller Park, West Garfield Park and Englewood -- where property assessments started to rebound before the housing market tanked -- will see their taxes soar as much as 71 percent.
Gee, wouldn't it be fun if the entire country got run into the ground like Chicago?
Then we could all be miserable together. It'd be like Senior Prom, but different.

What kind of pussies are we as a people if we let Pritzker, Raines et al skate on the claim that "it's all perfectly legal"? That argument didn't cut it with Enron, where the Dems were quick to demand justice in the form of jail time.
If we were in China some of these mofos would meet the same fate as the manager of that factory selling baby formula laced with melamine. He will wind up standing up against a wall, and not the Great Wall.
Those chicoms: they have so much to teach us!

Seriously, lock down Chicago.
Former Senator Peter Fitzgerald pushed hard to get President Bush to appoint Patrick Fitzgerald(no relation) as the USA of the Northern district of Illinois. This district handles federal prosecutions for Chicago, Crook County and Illinois. Peter Fitzgerald went against his own party to bring Patrick Fitzgerald to this swamp. His own party abandoned him for this and he declined to run for reelection in 2004. BARACK OBAMA assumed his seat.
Want some more mud? Patrick Fitzgerald spent two years on a wild goose chase trying to find out absolutely nothing in regards to Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson who burned her cover themselves. The USA's office in Illinois was still running, but Patrick Fitzgerald was only supervising it from the periphery.

GAO Report
Would the white candidate McCain with his history in the S&L crisis & link to white former senator Phil Gramm of the Gramm Bliley & Leach Act of 1999 dare question the existence and role of the Federal Reserve & FDIC and a return to the Gold Standard? Likewise question the notion of "affordable" housing backed by the taxpayer? Is it plausible for the white candidate McCain to morph into the trust-busting white former President T Roosevelt in the minds of the electorate? Just asking....

Imagine what someone like Oliver Stone, had he any integrity, could do with stories such as those emanating from the Obama camp.
Imagine a network, and the 'chosen one' who is guided from birth in the ways of politics. He is made to attend the 'best schools' where his education further engenders him to the cause of his people. As a young man he ingratiates himself with the locals through 'community organizing' and builds a following which he uses to open the door which granted his first glimmer inside the machine. All the while, the young man is reminded that his calling is bigger than himself: He seeks domination for his people....
Oh the hell with it.
Where's Tom Clancy when you need him?

McCain got the GOP nomination despite the Keating Five scandal, in which he was implicated but in the end exonerated of wrongdoing by The Senate Ethic committee, which said that McCain's "actions were not improper nor attended with gross negligence and did not reach the level of requiring institutional action against him....Senator McCain has violated no law of the United States or specific Rule of the United States Senate." The Committee still said he exercised "poor judment".
That all transpired 18 years ago, and McCain's been cleaner than a hound's tooth since.
Contrast that with Obama, who has blamed Republicans for the financial meltdown at Fannie/Freddie, and on Wall Street --- but who has within the last two years taken $126K from Fannie, surrounds himself now with some of the perps who have brought a trillion dollars in damages on the republic, and made a coupla hundred million in the process, and who resisted any attempts to reform the GSE's that created the mortgage crisis.
There is no comparison. McCain should rip Barrack a new Brown Eye over his associations with Pritzker, Raines, Johnson, etc. all the way to Election Day.
Posted by: fulldroolcup at September 20, 2008 03:40 PM (fH1BE)
Richard, was there supposed to be a link?
I still say that, before all is said and done, the egos of the talking heads is far greater than any common cause. Someone, although not prior to the election, will try to stand out from the crowd and scoop the dirty Obama story.
This should make for fine reading for years to come.

Penny Pritzker, Obama's financier, is also an heiress of the Hyatt (Grand Hyatt) Hotels, and what an AMAZING COINCIDENCE, the Grand Hyatt NYC is sponsoring Pres. Amamadjihadi of IRAN as its GUEST OF HONOR this week.
Mirable Dictu, in advance of such GUEST OF HONOR status, the Obama campaign has pulled Hillary as a speaker at the anti Iran/Amamadjihadi protest scheduled this week at the UN. Then the Obamanation had lawyers associated with his campaign to threaten the tax exempt status unless they disinvited Gov. Palin (just like Obama's lawyers wrote to the US Attorney General to take away the tax exempt status of a 527 organization that truthfully advertised Obama's connections to Ayres and Dohrn). Seems like a pattern is emerging here, unless you're an Obama Supporter (i.e. LMSM reporter) in which case the 'lightworker' has blinded and Obamaboozled you.
So the question is whether bad Penny P. told Obama that in order for the Iranian Pres to attend her shindig at the Hyatt, the anti Iran protest had to be made a laughingstock, by removing Hillary and demanding Gov Palin be disinvited. Now those are emails that the world should see (not the family business of Gov Palin) but never will, unfortunately. The dem saps and asskissers of the Council of Presidents took the added bonus step for the Obamanation's campaign by disinviting every politician, which has them both livid, but unable to say anything against Obama who caused this situation, which hopefully will cause all those dem politicians' heads to explode, one giant leap for mankind.
I urge anyone who was going to protest at that politicized rally not to do so, but save their energy to protest at the dinner at the Grand Hyatt. These democrap hacks should not be rewarded for their heinous conduct. We should not be a party to these Jewish organizations' putting party ahead of country. They are a disgrace and all these Presidents who did Obama's bidding at the expense of the legitimacy of their organizations should be terminated post haste.
