You know, I am starting to feel cautiously optimistic now about this election again. Word is bubbling up from the internet and should be soon from the McCain campaign about who is responsible for the financial crisis with Freddie and Fannie.

The cowardice and partisanship by the Dems on the failure of the bailout bill passing is going to be exposed soon enough, no matter what you think about the merits of the actual bill.

McCain/Palin just had about a bad a past 10 days you can imagine, and are still easily within single digits. Obama is simply playing a prevent defense right now campaign wise and is now trying to run out the clock. (For all you non-football junkies, the old saying is that a prevent defense only prevents you from winning.)

And his supporters, well, Obama's supporters can't help themselves, and are freaking out normal people who might be on the fence.

If Palin merely holds her own against Biden this Thursday and makes normal people wonder why all the hate towards her, and McCain can get within 3-4 points average within a week or two from now, I think we've won this thing.

People are going to have to take a long last look at Barack that last week in October and say to themselves, "Do I really want to do this?"

Then they remember this video.

As Sunday approached, a neighbor volunteered a home. Production wizards got wind of the project and offered their help in recordingit. The likes of Jeff Zucker, Holly Schiffer, Peter Rosenfeld, Darin Moran, Jean Martin, Andy Blumenthal, and Nick Phoenix rearranged schedules to participate. Holly Schiffer was able to get three High Definition cameras (Panasonic HVX250s), and an AVID editing facility. When Jeff Zucker went to pick up the camera package, Ted Schilowitz happened to be there and offered a RED camera set up on a SteadiCam.

Production wizard Jeff Zucker appears to also be President & CEO of NBC Universal Jeff Zucker. At least his brother David sticks with adults for his political work. Will Sing for Change get its own variety-hour special next?
