still bitterly clinging to his “assault magazine”. We must take this
dangerous nut off the streets.

My suggestion if the left really wants to reduce the number of guns in the country is this: for every thousand guns that are destroyed (so as not to be forwarded to south-of-the-border gangs), one highly visible gun control advocate (politicians, academics and media figures at the front of the line) would be deported to Iran or the Saudi occupied territories. IÂ’d pitch in to a telethon to send, for instance, Barney Frank.

So which journalist on the Right is going to go on D.C. air with assault-gun parts (say a magazine and a trigger and a stock and a barrel and a scope - disassembled, naturally) and press for free speech by brandishing said parts to "have a conversation" about the pros (and God-given Right) of gun ownership and use? Will it happen before or after Gregory gets his wrist-slap?

Correctly-thinking persons have to create more laws for the ignorant to be compelled by. The lower class are too uneducated to think for themselves, since RethugliKKKans took the money that should have been used to teach our children proper thought and spent it all on illegal wars against brown people that only made money for the Wall Street Machine and "international bankers" who sound Jewish.
Correctly thinking persons of proven social standing have no need for such laws. Every revolution has its vanguard, and there are those of us who will be in the lead as this racist nation is finally humbled before the world.

Of course nothing's going to happen to David Gregory.
Liberals have a simple legal model. One set of rules for them, and another set of rules for everyone else.
About halfway through Obama's first term, the perennially fatuous Andrew Sullivan, one of Obama's most devoted cheerleaders and stenographers, got himself busted for smoking dope on the beach.
Well, no biggie. Except it turned out it was a biggie. Sullivan was on federal property at the time, and it's still a felony to consume marijuana while on federal property. And, since Sullivan wasn't yet a U.S. citizen at that point, for him to be convicted would have meant that his green card would be revoked and he'd be deported back to Blighty, something he was apparently desperate to avoid.
The federal charges were then dropped without comment. You can imagine why.
Meanwhile, a different guy who was arrested the same week in the same place for the same crime, who was just an ordinary schmuck with no liberal political connections, was informed that he was going to trial on his federal weed charge while Sullivan walked free.

Count in about 90% of women like the popularity of the Kardashians, Royal Family, Soap Operas, bondage porn books, Twilight movies, and hunky glittery vampires and shirtless werewolves. Or Barack Obama. Beloved of Sandra Fluke and Lena Dunham.
A caste society, with hereditary exemptions from most laws, is just what most women want. A real royal society even better than a Disney Princess movie. It blows for those guys who have to play by the rules, but rocks for those who are outlaws (rappers, gangstas, homeboys) as well as the aristocracy. Its why Women LOVE Obama, Rockstar in Chief.

One should be more worried about the intern or producer who had to drive to a near by city or even state to buy one at Dick's Sporting goods. Charge it to the NBC corporate card. Then drive back city and then to the studio. If he/she got pulled over in a random traffic stop for a minor infraction such as speeding. With a probable cause search as they see a bag from a gun store it in the passages seat, that intern would have a court date to see a judge.

As Steyn said, sometimes societies become too stupid to live, and we're very close to that point. Actually, after briefly talking politics with lib relatives at Christmas, I think we're past it. The sheer brilliance of the men who crafted the Constitution have kept us afloat longer than we have had any right to expect. Now that the Constitution is being cast aside as the work of politically incorrect white guys and the stupidity and ignorance of, not only the masses, but of our "elites" gains ground daily, we'll sink very quickly.

"No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States:..." [Article I, Section 9, Clause 8]
At the time of the founding and into the 19th century, the primary reason a rich European would purchase a title of nobility was for preferential treatment on their taxes and in the courts, as much for the notoriety.
Even though USG doesn't actually go around knighting folks and officially granting titles, every time that the law is enforced arbitrarily in favor of the rich and powerful this clause is violated in spirit.

re: 'I'm not a lawyer, but I would guess that a defense of "selective prosecution" would certainly be in order for the next victim of D.C. gun laws.'
That's a procedural defense, and regular dudes are almost never truly allowed those.
But Gregory could use it.
In the absolutely impossible event that he gets prosecuted like a regular dude for the crime we all saw him commit on television, his lawyer can point to some prominent non-Democrat who said Gregory should be prosecuted like any regular dude would, claim that makes his prosecution selective ("pressure," etc.), and there's about a 99-point-everything percent chance that would be the end of the case.
"Real Law."

It's hard to get politicians behind a movement to end political corruption, and it's hard to get big corporate and celebrity donors behind a movement to end cronyism and preferential enforcement.
So there are 200 million people behind that, but no one is leading it or making it public, and they don't know what to do about it.

A significant cohort on the left determined what ideas to hold by how emotionally satisfying they are. Unfortunately, being the underdog is emotionally satisfying, so they tend to look to ideas that don't work, which then provide more satisfaction when they fail again.
It is another vicious spiral.

They are endeavoring to explicitly create a High Caste with greater
privileges than the lower castes, and immunities to the laws the lower
castes suffer under, and that is a blood anathema to any real American

That is what they are endeavoring to create, and year by year they are importing a majority that votes for it.

We passed that "all your citizens are belong to us" police state threshold with regard to the numbers of arcane poorly written catch-all laws at the local, state, and federal level some time ago. What's worse is that the police state has at least two tiers, so the plebes face one arbitrary justice system (with SWAT teams and well funded government lawyers and a guilty until proven innocent theme) and the elite ruling class face a different arbitrary justice system (with high priced corporate defense lawyers -- whose firms will, coincidentally, be hiring the most promising government prosecutors in a few years and judges that know how to be 'flexible' with their Harvard and Yale buddies and their friends).

Democrat:
Well thatÂ’s not enough information to answer the question.
Have I ever done anything to inspire him to attack me?
Can we run away?
What does the wife think?
What about the kids?
What does the law say about this?
What do the EU courts say about this?
Does the .45 have a safety?
What kind of message am I sending to my kids?
Can I take the 45, throw it and kn ock the knife out of his hand?
Should I call 911?
Why is this street so deserted?
We need to raise taxes . have a paint and weed day to make this a happier healthier street to discourage this type of behavior.

Anti-whites want White Americans reduced to a powerless and declining minority within a system that guarantees their elimination.
The "minority" bit is already locked in by mass immigration, legal and illegal, and the
continuing decline is locked in by continuing mass immigration.
The "powerless" bit is work in progress, with affirmative action, disparate impact, quotas and set-asides gradually pushing white people out of positions of social power and even honest work.
But that's not enough; the anti-whites want White people reduced to intimidated helplessness, so gun control, (campus) speech control and when possible thought control are on the table.
When White people can't stand up for themselves or defend themselves and their children at all, "white flight" is the only option, and it has been driving the evolution of America's cities for decades. But compulsory integration and assimilation means that wherever they flee, predators follow (unless the Whites are rich and can price themselves out of the market), and White people have to accept that, or flee, flee and flee again, till they run out of places to flee and vanish.
Ultimately the system is genocidal. The options are: oppose it, at least verbally, by saying that this is bad and should not happen. Or accept having no posterity in the long run, which means that the point of the founding fathers is lost.
This is all not so much prediction as description. The most fantastic stuff, like a majority of kids being born in America being non-White, and the election and re-election of Barack Hussein Obama, is already fact.
There's no way that the descendants of the people that built America can continue to survive as a real and distinct people within this system. It just doesn't add up.
Certainly not if they are a discriminated-against caste with less than equal rights, and thus always likely to lose out in competition with those who have more rights.
It is no excuse that many of the people pushing this anti-white agenda are White, any more than it is an excuse that many of the people pushing this anti-American agenda are American.

We need a viral YouTube campaign. People wearing t-shirts that say "Free David Gregory," holding up gun contraband, demanding that mere possession be decriminalized.
Rule 4 -- Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.

For years my wife said she "liked" Rush, but was put off by his "on load from Gawwwd" shtick.
Recently, she's discovered Mark Levin, and loves him.

Mark Steyn's piece is great because of the well-chosen examples.

What I find frighteningly telling is how quick Democrats will swoop down and rip up the 2nd amendment in seconds, while at the same time not enforcing a single article of immigration...
I can bet there are far more murders, and child sex slave victims on all of the Mexico bordering states than the last 10 years of mass shootings combined.
It's really very sickening actually.. now that I think about it.
They have an agenda for sure and it certainly doesn't include the US as we knew it.

I wholeheartedly approve of the Übermensch Initiative. After all, I play on the government team.

Weren't you dipshits calling for Jerry Sanduskys head?
Can any of you libertarian scum tell us why it's not a crime when Obamas "safe schools czar" fucks a kid?
And why it is when a Catholic Priest or someone like Sandusky does it?
Please, please, please go back to the Democratic party, you've already shown that you'll live with Communism and call us "bigots" and "nativists" for not going along.
