Mark also has worked closely with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and John Walsh (host of Fox TVs Americas Most Wanted) on a variety of child protection programs. Among the latest of these is a program designed to show children how to protect themselves from online predators.

The liberals are going to have a field day, but hey, apparently his advice for children protecting themselves against Internet predators worked, baby.

Why would he take the lead in such a legislative scheme?

1) To insulate himself against just these charges, just as Al Gore began a born-again campaign finance reformer after taking tons of dirty money from ChiCom agents passing donations through Buddhist nuns; and

2) Acess to all that Pete Townsend-style "child porn research."

Tears fell down the front of her beautiful blue dress. I found myself at such a loss for words--nothing made any sense; nothing makes sense anymore. I finally had to admit, “Honey, I just don’t know-–I don’t know what’s going on in this country anymore…”

When I finished her lower lip started to tremble and her eyes began to fill with tears, “Daddy” she said, “why are Republicans trying to seduce young interns? What are they doing this to the country?” Well, that was it for me: I finally fell apart. She just fell into my arms and we both began sobbing for several minutes.

For once she had to comfort me and help me back on my feet. Sometimes I just think it’s too much, but sensing the strength in my young daughter’s voice helped me to get through.

Well, what the kid went through is pretty bad, and I hope Foley is prosecuted to the full extent of the laws he helped pass (oh, the irony), but the kid isn't dead, unlike the unfortunate women Ted Kennedy killed.

I think the point Warden was trying to make, and it is a fair one, is that Republicans are better overall at disciplining their members than Democrats. The opposition party often rallies around their criminals. We get rid of ours.

So who, exactly, is "ruthless, morally adrift and obsessed with power?" I'd say it is those who put party above principle or law, myself.

According to About-DOT-com and their listing for Age of Consent by State, Foley would definitely have no legal worries in these states (male homosexual sex consent age 16 or younger): Alaska, Georgia, Indiana, Maine, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington. He would probably have no problem in these states (no specific age of consent for homosexual sex, but heterosexual age of consent is age 16 or younger): Connecticut, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Kentucky, Maryland, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia

That said, Clinton's other sexual depradations, as well as the cover-ups, are worse than Foley's chat sessions, IMO. The problem with the underage boys is inability to formulate consent, and consequent lack of consent. If Clinton's serially sexually assualting women, that also means lack of consent. Hmm, my understanding is the age of consent in DC is 16. So underage may not be (technically) correct since the intern was 17 at the time.
