Man Wakes Up With Bleeding Head, Drives To Work, Then Drives To Hospital, Discovers He's Been Shot In the Head

He only decided to seek medical attention when his head wouldn't stop bleeding.

His girlfriend apparently shot herself to death later. She presumably gave him a slug in the brainbox while he was sleeping.

Political angle: More evidence we must not put women into combat positions in the military.

I know "Maybe I've been shot in the head" doesn't often pop into your mind, particularly, I guess, if you have been shot in the head, which might make you a little less on-the-ball than usual, but still, I would think that if I were shot in the head I'd either know it, or not know anything at all, as I'd be dead.

But before dying of her injuries, she popped in to work, ran a few errands, went grocery shopping, went to a dentist appointment, went jogging, and got a manicure.

2 I don't know. I split my head open with a steering wheel (hit a light pole in the rain) and thought the blood running down my face was rain water.

I might have had a concussion. Don't recall really.

I think, yes, she shot him in his sleep, then he woke up and asked if she had hit him (because his head was bleeding), then he went to work, and I guess then she shot herself.

Either that, or she's just a really, really bad shot, and that second bullet was meant for him too, but she really hooked it badly and parked it in her frontal lobe.
