— Ace You don't even have to be a dork to enjoy it. It speaks to universal themes -- friendship, betrayal, and giant magical robots.

OT and I'm sorry if someone else had already mentioned it, but ace of spades was mentioned on CNN. Saw it this morning on my local news so I don't know exactly when it was on CNN. It was on the Sheryl Crowe post. Referred to ace of spades as a right wing blog and that most of the comments were not appropriate to repeat though they did repeat one G-rated one they said was 'cute'. Give me Charmin or give me death. Who wrote that one?

It was Jeanne Moos and they did not mention ace of spades but showed a screen capture of the site. This is what Moos said.
MOOS: The right-wing blogs papered with postings too crude to show. "Give me Charmin or give me death," was one of the more charming ones.
I have to say it did not seem to be said with any ill intent but just part of the overall one square controversy from all sides.

Sorry another OT. You think Rosie will think this example is better than the chicken wire and brick experiment?

Geez, if you sheeple can't see the truth now that it is staring you in the face, I guess you never will.

Damn, I used the link tool, I put the words I wanted to have the link "hidden" by (Skullcrusher Mountain) in the "Title" box, but New Comments Thingy still just gives the bare link.
Anyway, the video is called Skullcrusher Mountain, and for those who think liking WoW videos is kinda fruity it has plausible deniability in that it just uses WoW to make a video for a great song.
If you don't want in any way to be connected to a WoW video, http://www.jonathoncoulton.com/songs
is the songwriter's website. He also has a great folk rock rendition of "Baby got Back."
P.S. It's not like Ace's favorite Lee Marvin movie is "Paint Your Wagon."
…is it?

But I have a question: what happens to these people when they turn 15?

Me neither...I play PSU.
Oh wait...I guess that's just as bad, huh? Strangely, I'm told there's a certain allure of female gamers, so maybe it isn't as bad after all.

Sooo dorky...
I'd like to start a fantasy football league. Hey, the draft is over, why not?
I have to warn you though, I'm better than you. AND, I'm going to win. If you're still interested, knowing that, then let's roll this bum (idea).
No lefty trolls allowed. You give up too soon and, frankly, your too shtoopid.
I AM SERIOUS.

Ace,
Dude, seriously dude, put the keyboard down. Go outside. Put sunscreen on first..I know you have not had direct sunlight for only g*d knows how long. The sun won't hurt you. Really. A hat might be a good idea also.
Now, once outside, there are these things called "Parks". Go to a park. You could even walk there. Really. It is OK to walk around outside. You don't need to take a car. Parks have things in them called "People". People can be very good. Female people can be very, very, very good. Do not be afraid of the female people. (even the brown ones) I know it may be difficult, but try to say "hi" to one of them. Important point here...don't walk to fast if you don't want to get sweaty. Most of the "good" females really don't want you sweaty.
IMPORTANT ACTION ALERT....
THIS IS NOT A QUEST...DO NOT TREAT IT AS SUCH. LEAVE YOUR WAND/STAFF/SWORD/MACE/HALBERD/PIKE/AXE AT HOME.
END IMPORTANT ACTION ALERT.
Done all this??...good. I think that's enough for one day. You should try this again tomorrow or in a few days. As it says on the shampoo bottle, Rinse, Repeat.
Oh, and uh, yeah.
Get a life.

I agree with rudy.
Maces are for girls and clerics.
But you'll have to pry the bastard sword from my cold, dead fingers.

Wiserb...
Fairly long time lurker...only recently (and sparsely) posting comments.
I recognize a lost cause when I see it. Doesn't mean I can't snark on it, though.

Have fun, though. Maybe someday you can go back to your friends and tell them about the time you pwned Ace. Too bad it didn't work out for you this time.
