So annoying that a sissyblog like Wonkette can get all the traffic from the left any day they choose simply by deciding to be insane.

Don't bother going to Wonkette. It's what Ken Layne and his buddies want.

Wonkette's previous scoops concerned Michelle Malkin's photoshopped bikini, and also a strange campaign of anti-semitic exposes including the exclusive reports that Jews have (and I quote) "big noses" and are money-grubbing.

That Jew-baiting didn't get them quite the hits they wanted (despite suckering LGF into linking all the various anti-semitic posts, as well as getting lots of links from the bigger-nosed, more money-grubbing Heebosphere, as they might call it), so now there's this.

Thanks to Double Plus Undead, who should quote the last half of the post, and then I'll just quote the first half, and shoot him a link for the rest of it.

I'm not traffic whoring per say so much as traffic denying when I suggest anyone who wants to link this bullshit should link here or another conservative blog and not Ken Layne. Why give him the anti-semitic conspiracy-theorist schizophrenic the fruits of his fruitcakedness?

Who Ordered the Execution of NFL/Army Hero Pat Tillman?
Its almost too depressing to mention again, but lets recap the Pat Tillman revelations from Army medical examiners and internal Pentagon reports released last week and find out what happens when famous football stars turned Army Heroes become anti-war critics:
* He was shot three times in the forehead at close range with an American M-16.
* This was after he was shot in the chest, legs and hand.
* And this was after he screamed to the friendlies that he was Pat Tillman and please stop shooting him.
* But they didnt; they executed him.
* They were Americans.
* There wasnt even an enemy around; not only was nobody shot by enemy fire, no equipment was shot by enemy fire.
* Members of Tillmans unit burned his body armor and uniform in an apparent attempt to hide the fact that he was killed by friendly fire.
* Army medical examiners tried to get a criminal investigation opened, but they were shut down.
* The Army brass who conspired to shut down any criminal investigation into the U.S. assassination of Pat Tillman sent congratulatory e-mails to each other after shutting down the snoops.
* The Pentagon heavily promoted Tillmans enlistment and service as both a recruitment tool and a domestic propaganda tool.
* The Pentagon maintained for long after his murder that Tillman died in combat, finally admitting to his family that friendly fire killed him which wasnt exactly true, either.
* Lieutenant Colonel Ralph Kauzlarich, who commanded Tillmans base in Afghanistan at the time of his assassination, dismissed Tillmans familys attempts to find out what happened. Why? Because Pat Tillman was an atheist, like his family, so they were having a hard time letting it go.
* In his writings Tillman wrote constantly in letters and diaries and e-mails the NFL star who became an Army Ranger after 9/11 had concluded the Afghanistan War was fake and the Iraq War was a criminal setup.
* The Pentagon still has his diary that he kept with him in Afghanistan, where he was killed, and they wont release it to his family.
* Tillman had even arranged a meeting with anti-war icon Noam Chomsky about how to go public with a veterans-against-the-war movement.
* Such a movement wouldve had an interesting effect on the Iraq Occupation and the then-upcoming 2004 election; Tillman had already been encouraging his fellow soldiers to vote against Bush.
* Just today, Donald Rumsfeld refused to testify on the subject of Tillmans assassination before Congress on Wednesday.
* White House Counsel Fred Fielding has, of course, already refused to issue certain documents to the committee because of executive privilege.
* What is the White House doing with certain documents about Pat Tillmans murder?
* Says Pat Tillman Sr.: The administration clearly was using this case for its own political reasons. This cover-up started within minutes of Pats death, and it started at high levels. This is not something that people in the field do.

8 This is truly obscene. For years now the Lefties have been insulting Pat Tillman in the most poisonous ways possible -- just look at some of Ted Rall's syphilitic scrawlings for examples.

But now -- now they've seized upon his corpse and are waving it about in their filthy hands like a rag doll, in order to blacken the name of the Army he was proud to serve in.

I'm beyond being angry about this. It's disgusting and depressing. The Left are truly abandoning their last shreds of decency, honesty, and respect for anything.

If anyone has ever wondered how ordinary Germans could become SS men and death camp guards, this is the starting point -- you abandon all ideas of right and wrong in favor of simple party loyalty. I’ll bet Ken reviews his vial work and the number of hits it suckers in with the same sick satisfaction a sex predator does with trophies collected from his victims. If you're the CiC of the most powerful military in the world and you want to off one particular soldier because he might Tell The Truth, there are better ways to go about it than to order the men to Wait Until There Is No Enemy Fire, shoot him thrice in the forehead at close range, then hope that nobody notices.

If Bush can trick the whole US legislature to approve a war based on lies, don't you think he can get one guy killed in a War Zone without leaving a trail? Couldn't he bribe a random Afghani to do it with a non-US weapon?

To me, it sounds more like something really bad (or really stupid) happened and a lot of people are doing the CYA shuffle. Not to cover a murder, but to cover criminal imbecility.
