— Ace If you need any further proof that kneejerk partisanship causes deranged liberals to take a position contrary to Bush -- even when that position is one they supported 24 hours before Bush took it -- here is the final summation.
Bush is going to reduce SS benefits to the rich and Josh Marshall and the Daily "Screw 'em" Kos are fightin' mad about it!

"Bush's indexing plan guarantees middle- and upper-income retirees the same level of benefits they get now (after adjusting for inflation). Their benefits would not, however, grow above the rate of inflation, as is the case under the status quo"
That is frankly a GREAT plan.
And where's the cut-off for "middle class"?
You guessed it : SIX FUCKING FIGURES.
High-income workers, those with annual income of $113,000 or higher, would instead have their initial benefits based on the increase in prices during their working years
I'm a lawyer and I'm not even MIDDLE CLASS.
Fuck you Kos, Marshall and Black.

Lefties will do anything and everything to avoid calling social security what it is: a welfare program for the old. Young people are taxed to provide money for old people who may or may not need it. It's wealth-redistribution in the grandest Democrat style, but they dare not call it that; better to call it a "benefit" to make the bitter pill easier to swallow.
Just think, when you're old you can stick it to Junior too! He'll have to slave away for 80-90 hours a week to make sure you can afford to pay the greens fees at Geezer Fairways!

Somewhat OT: Laura Ingraham has one further procedure to go through, but it looks like they caught the cancer in time and her prognosis is good. (See her homepage.) The Kossacks had a lot of fun with the initial reports that she had breast cancer; presumably this news will come as quite a blow to them.

One question, Mr. "http://www.salon.com/news/feature/
2005/04/29/bush_polls/index_np.html" (aka rangergordon/commietroll): How's your public-pyramid-scheme-legalized-fraud-fake-retirement-plan-fuck-job working out for you? Are you married? Do you have kids? Do you have dreams of assigning them as beneficiaries of your fake retirement plan (read: Social Security)?
We conservatives (you might want to get your terms in line before you start casting them about) already have our soi-disant Social Security privatization plans. It's called our money that we've saved and decided, using our own brains, to put into things like IRAs, 401(k)s, CDs, MMDAs, UTMAs, 529s, and a myriad of other investment vehicles that we can bequeath to our loved ones, take out when we want (for non-retirement savings) and do whatever the hell we want with. What Bush is trying to do, fuckwad, is allow the lower and middle classes do the same fucking thing. You see, we conservatives have enough respect for our fellow man, no matter his economic conidtion, to want him to own these things himself and do with his money what he chooses.
It would appear you and your ilk have so little respect for the inate common sense of every man and woman in this country that you believe that the government is the only answer for whatever ails those in lower economic strata.
Are you a limosine liberal that already has these things? Is your idea of helping out your fellow man in need keeping him in need at the public trough? I heartily recommend a recent book written by Thomas Sowell. It might (long shot, I'm sure), give you some well-needed common sense.
Posted by: KCTrio at April 29, 2005 06:16 PM (hT8GB)
Forgive me. You see, I've been to culinary school and actually bake lots of fresh bread. But over at the Blogtower, I sort of went way over the edge in giving cooking advice, and then the comments I made took a life of their own. It's basically a gross reference, but by now, I'm sure you've figured that out. The net effect of the joke is "You'd never want to eat any bread I've made."
Posted by: KCTrio at April 29, 2005 06:23 PM (hT8GB)
For starters, you have irrevocably identified yourself as a limousine conservative by using a phrase like "soi-disant." I mean, really, how many conservatives will resort to French in order to express themselves?
That being said, I'm a limousine conservative myself. Bush's indexing plan will screw me out of some of the ill-gotten gains that boomers like me might otherwise have expected from Social Security, but I really don't care. Like you, Social Security is a blip on my retirement plan. Frankly, I don't need welfare from Uncle Sam.
I think a lot of Americans of more modest means would feel better about themselves and their prospects when they get older if they felt like they were in control of their future, rather than relying on the largesse of civil servants.
In my view, the core of the Bush agenda is about inclulcating the sort of civic virtue without which a democracy cannot survive. The administration's proposals regarding Social Security are not about "saving" the financial viability of the system (in any event the Dems are right that the funding crises is hugely debatable). It's really about saving us from the political crack of dependancy on the government, rather than ourselves and our families.
P.S.
Ticket vendor: "No charge. You can go right in."
Batman: "No, I'd rather pay just like every other ordinary citizen."
P.P.S.
Robin: "Gosh, Economics is sure a dull subject."
Batman: "Oh, you must be jesting, Robin. Economics dull? The glamour, the romance of commerce... Hmm. It's the very lifeblood of our country's society."

Posted by: Michael at April 29, 2005 08:08 PM (pRtzm)

You state:
Bush's indexing plan will screw me out of some of the ill-gotten gains that boomers like me might otherwise have expected from Social Security, but I really don't care.
While I enjoy the overall thrust of this statement, it is inherently invalid. Social Security is not a cash-value insurance plan, nor is it a pension fund.
Have you ever seen the old government notice put out to sell the Social Security system, entitled "Security in Your Old Age," addressed "To Employees of Industrial and Business Establishments--Factories, Shops, Mines, Stores, Offices and Other Places of Business."? It proclaimed that "Beginning November 24, 1936 the U.S. Government will set up a Social Security account for you, if you are eligible."
It explains how you and your employer will pay one cent for each dollar of earnings up to $3,000 for three years. At that point, the contributions will increase to 1.5 cents for another three years, then two cents, 2.5 cents and finally three cents. This final figure is in the form of a flat out promise. "Beginning in 1949, 12 years from now you and your employer will each pay three cents on each dollar you earn, up to $3,000 a year. That is the most you will ever pay."
The notice concludes with the guarantee that your money will go into a fund where it will draw 3% interest, thus adding three cents to every dollar in the fund each year. And it makes this promise: "What you get from the government plan will always be more than you paid in taxes and usually more than you can get for yourself by putting away the same amount of money each week in some other way."
This was a direct, flat out lie. The fund never earned money in your name or anyone's name. It uses current receipts to pay past obligations. In other words, it's a pyramid scheme. Indeed; the Supreme Court ruled that Social Security funds are general tax funds that can be used for any general government spending.
So to aver that Bush is somehow screwing you out of something promised is invalid because the entire system is based upon a lie. Therefore, how could Bush screw you out of something you never had coming to you; namely, your right to your own pension plan. If that's what it is, then Bush would be screwing you out of it. But since it's not, then he cannot.
But you already knew that. I'm just being an arrogant prick. Perforce, this missive.

The really fun Blake stuff (aside from his beautiful watercolor paintings that accompanied some of his best poems) are his fragmentary writings and aphorisms.
A sampling:
1)
When a Man has Married a Wife, he finds out whether
Her knees and elbows are only glewed together.
2)
Terror in the house does roar,
But Pity stands before the door.
3)
Silent, Silent Night
Quench the holy light
Of thy torches bright.
For possess'd of Day
Thousand spirits stray
That sweet joys betray
Why should joys be sweet
Used with deceit
Nor with sorrows meet?
But an honest joy
Does itself destroy
For a harlot coy.
4)
Abstinence sows sand all over
The ruddy limbs and flaming hair,
But Desire Gratified
Plants fruits of life and beauty there.
5)
In a wife I would desire
What in whores is always found--
The lineaments of Gratifed Desire.
6)
AN ANSWER TO THE PARSON
"Why of the sheep do you not learn peace?"
"Because I don't want you to shear my fleece."
7)
The look of love alarms
Because 'tis fill'd with fire;
But the look of soft deceit
Shall win the lover's hire.
Her whole Life is an Epigram, smart, smooth, and neatly pen'd,
Platted quite neat to catch applause with a sliding noose at the end.
That's enough Blake for now. Ace: kill me. However, the man clearly wrote like a Viking.

Though I agree with the sentiments in that thread, I have some serious disagreements with what they are attempting to do.
Here are my issues, as best as I can convey them:
1) Clearly, the Democratic Underground is one notch below KOS and others, but not by much. However, KOS is virulent enough, so we don't need the DU as our point of contention or level of visceral.
2) KOS wields considerable power both in the DNC and in the media (the DU wields nothing, though they do seem to get quoted whenever the MSM wants to do a generic article about Bloggers). KOS readers have the unvarnished hate language, and their numbers are just large enough to cause people to take notice. No matter how far out of line their hatred goes, both the MSM and elected Democrats water down the KOS swarm;
3) Thus, the waterd-down KOS vitriol makes its way into the mainstream through daily news stories and talking points from elected Democrats. We also have KOS's power to get Dean elected as DNC Chairman.
4) Why in the hell would we want to break this cycle? The KOS swarm freaks are pulling the DNC and the MSM farther left. They are digging their own grave. Hate doesn't win elections, and it certainly doesn't get them much respect from the common man. Most people read this shit in the paper or hear a little snippet from Nancy Pelosi or Dingy Reed, and think to themselves, "These people are fucking insane."
Here's what gets me worried. Bush does a very good job when he's in front of the camera. Clearly, the man is likeable. But he also stumbles and stutters when he speaks, which the media makes fun of. So what; he's quick on his feet, and comes across as honest and genuine. Why don't his handlers get him out more, in front of the camera? He's really good when he's confident. That's what needs to be done.
Getting Hugh Hewitt or anyone else in the Blogosphere to counter these slimeballs over at DU or KOS would be a waste of time. Why? The right side of the Blogosphere focuses on taking down the MSM. The left side of the Blogosphere drags the MSM and the DNC farther left. Both phenomena benefit conservatives. Isn't that a good reason to leave KOS and the DU free to go about their business with no counterpunch? Why counter a bunch of freaks on something when they are busy making themselves look like freaks? When whatever the fuck they are doing starts threatening my party, then I may think it necessary, but I just can't see how that can happen. [Much of the above analysis/observations comes from Michael Barone's latest column on this topic, which I linked to earlier in this thread.]

Wouldn't a Jenna Jameson love doll with authentic silicon boobs and a fully washable lovenest be readier when SpewFan's orifices aren't, BobDolesCock???
BTW - Real story. Back in 2003, the Coast Guard rescued the 7-man crew of of the Shintasi Maru after the ship went down in a Pacific Typhoon. The men, all Japanese, barely had time to escape with whatever prized possessions they could snatch up. As the cutter approached their liferaft, they saw what appeared to be naked females tied alongside the lifeboat. 3 of the crew had salvaged their lovedolls, and in an encounter I would have paid significant money to film, angrily insisted on bringing their lovedolls on board the Cutter. A female Coastie is said to have wet her pants from laughing. The Japanese captain finally ordered his very depressed men (they had grown very "attached" to the dolls on long voyages) to leave the 3 lovedolls behind.
The lovedolls were last seen drifting away to the north, where they might catch the Japan Current....from the Coast Guard rescue vessel, 200 miles northeast of Hawaii. Did they sink? Or was some Canadian Inuit fisherman "lucky"?

I had the exact same sentiments. Let me give it a try and see if I can reconstruct a classic paleotroll invective. Let's call it, The Post That Might Have Been.
Look, Daily KOS and their broader supporters in the DNC are going to grab onto anything they can to take down the Bush administration. Bush really fucked up with the Schiavo case, because the woman's brain was liquified and her husband was her rightful guardian. The lower court ruled appropriately, and after scores of appeals, Michael Schiavo's underlying argument was proven correct.
But Bush had to pay homage to the Right-To-Lifers, otherwise known as the Christian Taliban, and thus he and his RTL-controlled lotion boys in Congress made an unconstitutional move to intervene in what should have been an entirely private matter.
With this social security thing, the KOS folks may be misfiring, but not because their goal is wrong, just their arguments are wrong.
The Bush administration is controlled by Jews, who, after having their fill of pre-emptive wars abroad, needed to turn their iron fist to domestic issues. And, since Jews control the money supply, any Social Security reform that involves private accounts will logically put even more power into the hands of Jews. It'll flood billions of tax dollars into Jewish-controlled investment firms, institutional investment houses and advisors, all Jews, and line their pockets handsomely. But more importantly, private accounts will give total control of one of the single largest tax sources over to the Jews.
Thus, through the use of the massive levers of the military AND capital, the Jews will control most of everything in our society. I mean, look, Ari Fleicher may have resigned, but he's still controlling Scott McLellan's brain, which is also liquified, by the way.
Now let's look at the crossroad where Global Finance, Military Power and Diplomacy intersect: The IMF, the Pro-Zionist Military and the UN. Now, the UN is the only International voice where the anti-Zionist forces hold some sway and aren't tools of the Jews. But with Wolfowitz running the IMF, that lever's gone. With the likely appointment of Bolton to the post of UN Ambassador, the UN will become another Jew-controlled institution. After all, Bolton was the chief architect of repealing the anti-Zionist Resolution 3379. If that Resolution had past, perhaps our country's foreign policy wouldn't be all-Jew-all-the-time. But with Bolton, he fucked that potential and with his appointment, he'll fuck it to death.
And what the fuck is this Batman, Robin shit? They are all a bunch of Jewish-controlled comic book characters. And why the fuck are people quoting William Blake? That guy was either a Jew or a Jew-cock lover. Either way, Blake was a force of darkness.
And why all this talk about hairy Latino asses, French assholes and other such nonsense. Spewfan should have been right in there saying "I love all cock and ass." And so do you, Sean M. You are a cock lover with semen oozing out of every orifice just like your Jew-loving, RTL-humping buddies just like the rest of the neocons on this site.
And did you know that one night I got to cop a feel of a woman's fake tits?
Fuck all you neocons. Either the GOP will return to it's Jew-hating, anti-big-government, anti-immigration roots, or you all are going to go down in flames.

And...Let's have some more Blake quotations, and don't be afraid to include Robert alongside William.
Posted by: Lipstick Dynamite at April 30, 2005 01:34 PM (1f7Hp)
Could you be more specific? Are you referring to William Blake's brother, Robert, who died at the age of 27 while the two of them owned a printing business? Or, are you referring to Robert Bowlby Blake that just was acquitted from charges of the murder of Bonny Lee Bakely?

I told her I thought you were an asshole.
She said, "Yes. I think you're right."
And all your friends are assholes
'cause you've known them your whole life.

Isn't there something pathetic that has crept into conservatism - in saying only one country is above criticism, and that country is NOT America??
Plenty of people in plenty of countries have "suffered" yet are not ideologically sacrosanct. The reluctance of the Religious Right and Neocon-Right to criticize Israel is more akin to the hard Left's reluctance to criticize the Soviet Union for any action they did...... than they realize.
Some recent refreshers:
1. 144 Knesset members signed a resolution in early 2005 demanding America release Jonathan Pollard, their hero, as a condition for working towards a ME peace. American Pollard obtained top secret satellite tech data and detailing information which was passed on to Israel which then gave it all to the Soviet Union as a bargaining chip for obtaining more exit visas for disssident Soviet Jews.
2. Israel has just been banished from the F-35 fighter development multi-nation team because of its continued treachery passing US defense technology on to China despite being caught red-handed at it again and again. And it's arrogance in counting on the AIPAC to lobby and money the pockets of American politicians to keep Israel 1st in line for advanced secret US technology, despite those transgressions.
3. The AIPAC lobby, where at least two of its dual loyalty execs are in the Grand Jury on efforts to use personnel with strong sympathies for Israel to penetrate DOD and State. AIPAC, where FBI agents with guns drawn faced down the Israeli special security guards AIPAC hired to guard their premises.
4. On polls why American has become so unpopular in the last 20 years in the eyes of nations we had deep ties and friendship with - two answers predominate. America's arrogant ways, and, its blind support for Israel's brutal policies.
Think of Israel as another France. A basic backstabber.
Who will sell us out for money or advancing their interests even if it seriously hurts ours, no problem!
There is the truth that there are far more odious nations than Israel in the ME, Africa, and Asia. And we all hammer them freely. But the core truth is that Israel is no ally of America, nor are the dual loyalty Americans that back Israel no matter what responsible Americans, or those who view only Israel should be exempt from criticism as the highest conservative principle of all, true conservatives.
BTW, BobDolesCock will liquify when the Schiavo autopsy results are released.

Ohboyohboy, that's rich. Especially the "we" part in the second sentence. Because the only country you ever seem to "hammer" seems to be Israel.
Look, I think that Israel is not "above criticism"--if they fuck up, people ought to call them on it.
But you're not (despite your inevitable protestations to the contrary) only criticizing the country, you're also constantly harping on "dual-loyalty" American Jews, "liberal Jew lawyers," etc.
I suspect life would be a lot easier for you if you could work your way out of denial and admit that you're a fucking Nazi.

Let's just assume that Cedarford is a Joo-hating Nazi. Let's ignore that for a minute, and maybe just take a look at what he says.
Does anyone really doubt the following:
1. Jews have a disproportionate influence on American politics. They are concentrated in key states (New York, Florida) where they constitute a swing vote that can decide the outcome of national elections. And they turn out to vote. Hence, politicians tread lightly when it comes to issues that motivate Jews. Nothing wrong with this, it's just a fact. More or less like AARP members have a disproportionate influence on American politics.
2. American Jews have a visceral affiliation with the state of Israel, as well they should. They and their parents and grandparents may never have lived there, but Israel is uniformly revered as the "homeland" that they lacked for so many centuries.
3. Politicians fear the possibility that American Jews may vote on the basis of a politician's perceived support for Israel's interests, even if Israel's interests are inconsistent with what is otherwise in the best interests of America. Nothing wrong with this, it's just a fact. Nor are Jews unique in this regard -- consider the anti-Castro Cuban vote, for example, which consistently symies a rational policy toward Cuba.
4. Like any other country, Israel acts in its own best interests. They are not our friends if it is in their national interest to screw us. Given their precarious situation, I suppose it is understandable that they are more focused on self-preservation than most states. Israel has repeatedly resorted to the types of activities that Cedarford describes -- spying, stealing our technology, selling our technology to countries that are hostile to us, etc.
5. Many of our leaders, for political and ideological reasons, are unwilling to engage in a candid discussion about America's relationship with Israel, and this infects our ability to deal with the Muslim world. Muslims perceive America as being blindly loyal to Israel, and thus, hostile to them. They have a point. It's hard for them to understand why we get all lathered up about Iran's nuclear program, but nobody is willing to say a word about Israel's nukes. OK, maybe we just think that Israel is more likely to be responsible with nukes, and they need the deterrent more than most countries. But, we don't even talk about the issue.
Is any of this really controversial? So maybe Cedarford comes off as frothing at the mouth on occasion, but for the most part he is just pointing out the obvious.

You paint the Jewish vote as one constituency of many whose influence needs to be considered in political strategy
Cedarford discusses Jews as a corrupt political infection, brought about by the fact that Jews are power-hungry mongrels
So ultimately, even though some of the conclusions reached are similar, what you're saying is hardly the same thing Cedarford is saying.

Criticism of Israel, like it or not, is almost always (99.99999999% of the time at the very least) code for "Let's put those Jew fuckers back in the ovens where they belong." So when we have a problem with what Israel is doing we take it up with Israel, directly, quietly, and discreetly, at a high government-to-government level.
Because the instant you start criticizing Israel in anything but the most carefully calibrated language, CF's ideological brothers will read it as a carte blanche to the streets and murder a thousand Israelis. Or a million. Or six million. That, after all, is their goal.
And that is why we have to be extraordinarily careful, in this matter, about what we say and when we say it. And who hears it.
Posted by: Megan at April 30, 2005 05:43 PM (jBXwy)
Can't we all just go back to a simpler time? A time spent arguing about stuff that geeks would be embarrassed about, smearing each other's sexual preferences, and calling each other retards/morons/twats?
Posted by: Sean M. at April 30, 2005 05:47 PM (e0H8j)
As for #5 on your list ("Muslims perceive America as being blindly loyal to Israel"), this isn't a problem or an unforeseen consequence of our policy: it is the direct, explicit, stated, and desired goal of our policy. We want the blood-crazed Mohammedans to perceive the US as being "blindly loyal" to Israel. The instant they think we're wavering, they WILL attack, and tens of thousands more will die.
We're in the business of saving lives, and if in the process we pander a bit to AIPAC across the political spectrum, I really don't give a damn.
Moslems hate us as a result? So what. They would, and do, hate us anyway. Fuck 'em.
Posted by: Megan at April 30, 2005 05:52 PM (jBXwy)
Do you really think CF wants to fire up the gas ovens? I don't get that from what he says. He just sounds like he's pissed off because Israel gets a free pass from the U.S. for it's various transgressions that, in his view, it does not deserve.
I don't personally dispute the notion that Israel, in light of a history that includes the Assyrian destruction of the Northern Kingdom, the Babylonian captivity of Judah, the expulsion of Jews from Spain, the Russian pogroms, the Holocaust (and on and on) should be treated with deference. But I don't think Cedarford's attitude can casually by associated with genocide.
Just isn't fair.

Heh. I remember it was the same way at the Belmont Club. Everyone would be having a perfectly civil conversation, chock-full of phrases like "I respectfully disagree with that position" and "I feel you haven't completely acknowledged the consequences of the cited policy." It was like a bunch of people writing to the editor at The Economist. Some of them actually did begin their posts with "Sir -" and I wouldn't have been surprised if most had a copy of Emily Post's Etiquette next to their keyboards.
Then CF would show his face, and all of a sudden the thread would dissolve into "SHUT UP YOU FUCKING NAZI," "GET THAT GODDAMN MOTHERFUCKER OUT OF THIS THREAD," and "JESUS CHRIST WRETCHARD, WHY HAVEN'T YOU BANNED THIS COCKSUCKING SHITEATER YET?!"
Funny to watch. Does anyone know if there's a forum anywhere on the Internet where CF isn't virulently loathed by the overwhelming majority of posters?

I can't say what anyone "wants" to do. I can say that the kinds of things CF says are linguistically, syntactically, and tonally indistinguishable from people who have fired up the ovens in the past.
In other words - yes.

To some people, even negative attention is more than they normally get and more than they deserve.
Having recently suffered from the reaction to my Batman quotes, that's a little hard to believe.

So why'd you change your name, Michael? Feelin' a li'l picked upon?
I change my name all the time. It doesn't make me anonymous -- click on the name and you'll get Michael Meyer every time.
And yes, I'm feeling picked upon.
*Sniff*

ah, don't feel picked upon.
You don't know what "picked upon" really is.
Wait till the wrestling chicks show up.
(ok, stopping this, back to Blake)

60 years of demanding no American criticise your folks because "Oh, we suffered so" ----wears very old.
America is the last country where you can actively stifle thought by claiming any criticism of your beloved Israel is just a prelude to the gas ovens. Though 50 years of censorship in America by slinging the dread "anti-Semitic/Nazi slur is coming to an end. That nonsense is dissipating here as it did in Canada, Australia, UK, and France in the last 15 years.
Deal with that fact, bitch.
Israel has knifed us in the back too many times to pretend it is anything other than a glorified France.
As for Jewish-Americans, many do have dual loyalty, or loyalty 1st to Israel, and it is a significant problem. Orders of magnitude worse than Cuban-Americans manipulating America's Southern Hemisphere policy to the overall detriment of America's vital interests.
For you, "heh" rings clear as a giveaway in determining your affiliations, and perhaps where your true affections lie.
For the likes of KCTrio, crunch time is coming and I hope he realizes that. I have little sympathy for a Johnny Walker Lindh who loves the Taliban over America, little sympathy for a KCTrio who belittles those who hold America's interests over those of Israel's. KCTrio might benefit from a little self-examination on where his own ultimate loyalties lie.

Defending CF has got to be a thankless job, though, kind of like a bum who gets mad when you don't give him enough money.

I support the Bush initiative to add an element of means-testing to the Social Security program. I'll be a victim of this, but SS is really a welfare program and I don't need it. Others do. And I think that revising the program so that working Americans of modest means can invest their own money in their own future is a good thing. Last I heard, this was a big success in Argentina.

I have a question for you: Do you enjoy self-sealing arguments? Since when did I aver that strong support for Israel supervenes by necessity a lessening of one's support for America? The two are not mutually exclusive. One can strongly support Israel and America, especially when our two countries' interests are shared.
And I never accused you or anyone else who specifically criticizes an Israeli action as immediately being a Jew hater.
But if one were to take your posts in aggregate, I believe that the charge of anti-Zionist is fairly cast at your feet.
Now, as to searching. I did just that. After having taken Megan's mention of your rantings over at The Belmont Club, I did a search over at that site, and it would appear that you play the same games there that you do here. And not only that, but your rants have inspired doggerel verse. Here's one I found:
There was once a comrade, named Cedarford
I think the Collective,
Is what he'd preferred.
Three-parts factually right,
One-part demagogue fright,
Are his complicated posts,
either bleat or blurred.
See, Cedarford, I've grown already, using your suggestion.
Megan, that was some searching I really didn't need. But I knew what I was getting into before I started.

Batman: "The best-laid plans of mice and men oft gong agley."
And yep, I know it's actually "gang oft aglae."

Because I mean wow - this is just so cool! Turns out I'm a "slimey [sic] lying Zionist pig" whose "affiliations" and "true affections" can be discerned through my use of a single three-letter, one-syllable onomatopaeic word. All these years going to Catholic services, attending Jesuit schools, and I had no idea that all along I was secretly, in my heart of hearts, a dirty stinking rotten Jew!
That "heh" sure cleared things up!
Oh. My. God. I just realized. Insty must preside over every meeting of the Elders of Zion in person! Probably wrote the Protocols himself!
And if "heh" is code for "I hate America and love Israel" (this is common?) I have to wonder what "indeed" means. Boy oh boy, we're on the verge of some momentous discoveries here!
Or maybe not.
Turns out I'm still Catholic after all, and I didn't dream up all those horribly long, boring mornings at Sunday school. Too bad.
Sure am disappointed I never got that bat mitzvah. Those look like fun - unless of course you get shot to death by one of CF's charming allies.

Don't worry, they'll get what's coming to them and so will all you traitors to America who buy their filthy heebie lies and don't bend a knee before their Arab antagonists.
Darn those Kike neocon skulkers, they even erased "Shintasi Maru" completely from Google's cache. Along with every mention of the rescue I described (except when I posted it elsewhere on Ace's site, with a different date.) Look, I don't like Japs or JAPs, all right?
Bob Dole's Cock, excellent post. My hat is off to you. Actually it's usually off these days, because I tried some PURE HERBAL VIAGRA and promptly grew four and a half feet.

Still, I don't consider words like "poseur" to be foreign - unless you want to toss "shampoo," "artiste," and "naif" as well.

The problem is that we are facing the specter of having to pay off approximately $50 trillion in debt. Our total economic output (GDP) is currently around $11.7 trillion. So it would take approximately four (4) years of each company and individual working for free and giving 100% of their earnings to the government to pay off this debt. Not very likely to work for anyone is it? And if that isn't likely to work for anyone how likely is it to think that you can pay off the debt on an installment plan based on future tax revenues? About as likely as having monkeys fly out of John Marshall's youknowwhat.
The first step is realizing you have a problem.
The second step is realizing the old means and methods you've used in the past (unsuccessfully) won't fix the problem and should therefore be eliminated from further constructive use.
The third step is opening your mind (and heart) to the possibility that there exists information out there that has the potential to change the entire dynamics of the problem and resolve it in a way you might not have thought possible.
The fourth step is embracing this "new truth" and seeking to implement it in a way so that you NEVER HAVE TO DO THIS AGAIN.
As a corporate bankruptcy consultant, I take a professional interest in this insolvency crisis but have been amazed at how earnest these so-called geniuses are at dancing around the problem without really seeking to address the problem in terms of solutions that can work.
One thing's for sure, the business-as-usual mentality of the Beltway insiders isn't going to do anything other than continue to cost you money.
That's right - YOU.
Each and every month they delay in actually fixing the problem costs each and every American household $167 for which the American gets absolutely nothing in return.
The next time a politician tells you they don't see the need in fixing government spending, ask them if they will be paying your $167 a month in dues for you and see if they still feel the same way about the matter.
It's about the math, stupid.
