— Ace Finally.
He reports the MSM parroting more absurd charges from Islamists -- like five US soliders gang-raping an Iraqi girl and then murdering her.
Islamists seem to get a lot of their propaganda against the West from our media. Here, it seems someone just watched Casualties of War with Michael J. Fox and Sean Penn. I'm pretty sure they just got their new charges from that movie, because I really doubt the quote attributed to one of the US soldiers accused in the rape: "Fini boonies, most ricki-tick, gang-rape number-one GI!"

The rape part might be true -- hell, probably is true, if not in this case then at least in a statistical sense. You can't put 100,000 male soldiers into a war zone where even beer is not allowed, institute draconian "fraternization" rules that prevent most of them from so much as speaking to women, and not have rape happen from time to time. It's happened in every other conflict we've fought, and I guarantee you it's happened here. The military is not composed of saints; it is mainly composed of young men far away from their homes and wives/girlfriends.
But the rest of the story stinks of "atrocity propaganda" that the insurgents have been flogging for years. We're only doing their propaganda work for them in spreading it all over the newspapers and airwaves.

I *love* that moment. Almost burned out my VCR rewinding it over and over again back when I first saw the movie.
Cheers,

It's also great when he says "You don't have to kill me to keep me from telling them. I already told them, and they DON'T CARE!!!"

A second soldier, who also was not involved, said he overhead soldiers conspiring to commit the crimes, and then later saw bloodstains on their clothes, the official said.
He also said the four people killed included three adults and a child, and one of the adults was the woman who allegedly was raped.

As with all the other investigations, we should not jump to conclusions either way and wait until the investigators, whom are very capable actually, get to the bottom of each one.
One thing I know about the Military Tribunal/Court Martial method that makes it far better to me than a civilian trial (I'd take a Military court any day) :
A Military Court of Inquest is an attempt to find out what happened. Both prosecution AND defense are expected to do that in the military situation and that is what they do.
A civilian court, on the other hand, is merely a contest between two technicians.

The difference between a patriot and a fascist is that a patriot knows when something is wrong with HIS side.
Stick to lambasting Britney and stuff, you're better at it.
