Not so much. Before dawn broke they'd already been "spirited away," presumably to other whorehouses.

9 Sounds like some cops got bribed. That said, maybe the Indians should bring back some old English colonial thinking for the whoremasters. Being tied over the barrel of an artillery piece which is then fired off sounds about right, but I wouldn't object to a good old fashioned hanging - by the balls.
