— Ace Not sure how it's going to work when Karol and I are in different cities.

Click on the pic at 4PM Eastern Time.
Our show's very first guest may be our last guest. Kind of a bookend sort of deal.
Michelle Malkin will discuss her latest book, Unhinged: Exposing Liberals Gone Wild. It's a funny book, but frequently infuriating. I guarantee you that if Republican operatives had slashed the tires of twenty rented vans for a Democratic get-out-the-vote operation, it would have resulted in criminal charges and a Congressional investigation. Of course, when Democrats do this to Republicans, it barely registers.
We're the party of hate, after all.
And as if that's not enough show, we'll then have on Jim Geraghty of TKS on NRO, who, for reasons unfathomable to me, moved to Turkey, and is doing us a great favor in staying up 'till 12 to talk to us. (National Review types are all in bed by 10 pm sharp, usually, judging by Corner entries.)

Hmm. I guess this means that when Ace can't come up with the rent, alternative forms of payment can be arranged.

Why not just stick him in P-town?

Its weird, though, how political it is. Not explicitly "oh, I am a lefty," but "vote for tom morenello for Cat Catcher, 3rd Ward." It seems like the party machine is still in play there. Everyone is running for something.

Having lived most of my life in and around Boston I can assure you that there is no place in America where politics is more important on both a local and national level. And yes, the party machine is very much alive and well. Its never dull.

Black Knight: Right, I'll do you for that!
King Arthur: You'll what?
Black Knight: Come here!
King Arthur: What are you gonna do, bleed on me?
Black Knight: I'm invincible!
King Arthur: ...You're a loony.

You'll love Howie Carr.
And, best of all, you'll be close enough for an Ace of Spades bluefish trip this summer. I'll pay for the gas. Learn how to get to Westerly, RI, and bring a couple of east coast Acers with ya.
Listening to the show now, by the way.

I've been fishing from Plum Gut to Watch Hill, and Southwest ledge off Block for 35 years. Never caught a single striper 'till about three years ago. What a great fish! Pound for pound, though, the blues still are the best for the fight. The exception? Bonito, if you can get the durn things to hook up.
Shall we count you in for the Ace of Spades fishing derby? I have a 25 Grady White Sailfish. Ought to be good for 4-5, anyway.

Now isn't Ace sounding really really relaxed these days?
And, unless I'm imagining things, he also made an off-hand remark not long ago about having a girlfriend.
I don't know. I don't like it, ya know? I don't like it one bit. Sure, I wish Ace well, in theory, but in practice his "brand name" says miserable, lonely, dorky, and drunk. I don't think he should pull the rug out from under his loyal fans like that. It's bad marketing. It does not make economic sense.
Ace, rock bottom called. It misses you.

We had a few years where there always seemed to be a whale carcass or two floating in BI sound. I saw a huge bull shark on the way in one year (at least the Coast Guard told me it was probably one, as I did not care to stick around a fish longer than half my boat in six foot seas).

You're in. We have to find out if Ace is the, um, green type on the water, though. If it is stripers it may have to be early, yes? Blues would be after mid-July. Could do some flounder if you actually want flavor. The pink house off Misquamicut always worked well.

I would find it hard to keep up. Even trolling here, I've been tempted in conversations to reveal infomation which, taken all together, could easily be used to identify me. If I had invested all the time and energy into a blog and the creation of a cyberspace "community", I don't know if I could do it. Although maintaining anonymity really is a good idea, if you can hack it. The fact that somebody can recall the fact that you once made an off-color joke is quite different from somebody being able to email your boss a specific link. The record of all the conversations we've had on this moronblog may last forever, which is a sobering thought. (Of course, all thoughts are sobering thoughts for me right now, since, alas, I am in fact stone cold sober. And I curse my corporate masters for that.)

Case of beer and a motorcycle ride? No problem. Passing out in a pile of urine and vomit on the grimy bathroom of the local bar? Normal.

She is almost as bad for the Left as the protests during the RNC.
