— Ace Outraged, I say.
Major Garrett on FoxNews said, flatly, that they are at most peeved about this.
What they're really outraged about -- and trying to mau-mau Obama over, using this as pretext and bloody flag -- is help in retiring Hillary's campaign debt. They want Obama's donor mailing list (to solicit donations to retire the debt) and Obama won't budge on that.
It's all about the money, Garrett reported (not speculated) flatly.
Bill Kristol (who is Jewish like disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff) suggests a novel new means to press their ransom -- try to get Hillary's name placed in nomination for vice president.

Bill's got money. I wonder what the payoff for Escalante/Grand Staircase was.
This fall's campaign is going to 11.

It's sad that this bozo has gotten as far as he has but I'm simply amazed that with all the help he gets from the MSM that he's not further ahead. The thought that most Americans haven't fallen completely for Captain Bullshit gives me hope for our country. (I said Hope!)

The clown show going on across the aisle is both horrifying and mesmerizing. Gee... so that's what a major political party melting down looks like.

anyone, would be better than these tools.
You should have heard the truckers we were listening to on our C.B. radio when we were stuck in backed up traffic heading into St. Louis.
We were hearing 5 or 6 voices bemoaning the traffic situation, and someone mentioned that Obama supporters were handing out free stickers somewhere ...(the back up was caused by road construction).
You should have heard the f-bombs fly....,and the "closet Muslim" comments etc. They all despised him.
It was very gratifying to hear those guys.

most people think Congress sucks, except THEIR Congressman, of course, who is doing a fine job and deserves re-election

I wouldn't go that far. If McCain wins it will be by the skin of his teeth. This country has been pretty equally divided ideologically for quite a while. And the chances of him getting a second term historically are not very good.

I'm sorry, I have to hash this EVERY FUCKING TIME there is some mention of the Clintons, and their "insane popularity" as rachel maddow (journalist, MSNBC) put it.
Clinton NEVER would have won, EITHER campaigns if it weren't for republican spoilers, that is why Gores bitching and moaning about Naders .5% in florida was a complete farce.
The INSANELY popular clinton would have NEVER won, had it not beenfor perot.
PEROT! elected Clinton, because he stole a SHITLOAD of votes from 'pubs.
To argue otherwise is retarded, you think a Free Market 3rd party candidate stole votes from DEM's?
METHINKS NOT!!!
3/4ths of this bullshit paradigm that dem's have created for themself is based on stupidity and lies.
Clinton was NEVER "Popular," he was just in the right party at the right time, and that party is made up of stupid delusional fucknuts.

So Bart posts comment 14, and it receives a time of 8:47 PM. Why? Why not 4:47 PM? There's no rhyme or reason to any of this. That means that Bart's going to be pushed down and down by all the other commenters who can somehow earn an earler timestamp. And so the comment threads are hard to keep track of.

Or one of Johnny carson's ex-wives.
I really can't believe that the chicks who supported her aren't really pissed off and angry about the way she was treated.
Edwards was banging and impregnating a former cokeslut actress from Manhattan with no qualifications to do anything except strap a mattress on her back for Johnny Lawyer.
And he was shoved into the debates like he belonged. Does she actually think that the reporters who put together those debates didn't know that Johnny was shtupping some bimbo?
She got abused yet again.
I don't want to feel sorry for her, I respect how far she's gotten, with her having to wear contacts and dress up out of the hippy clothes she used to adorn herself with. When she's on her game and kicking ass, she is actually kinda sexy, I mean that.
They just simply fucked her over on purpose, her whole party, and I include the media leeches in that.
They knew everything the whole time yet they let her swing in the breeze.

"You're right of course, but once things drop to ten percent...and you add the tone deaf reaction to gas prices to boot....I'm not saying it's likely, but it's certainly possible now."
Sorry, no, it won't happen. Gerrymandering the House, and using federal money to grease political organizations for House and Senate both, make it nearly impossible to even challenge a sitting congressman. The only practical way to defeat a sitting congresscreature these days is through a primary challenge. 1994 will never happen again, not as long as earmarks and gerrymandering are in place.

I mean, you look at it: Biden isn't really all that great shakes, but he's more or less Southern, so he supposedly shores up the South and maybe PA for the Dems - other than that? Foreign policy expertise? Nah. Edwards could've brought about the same and he'd have looked better onstage with Obama [which is what its about with him - appearances].
And then you look at the talking points re:Biden: "Working class" guy, "not an insider". Are these the characteristics Obama was looking for? If so, Edwards is the better of the two, myth-wise. And he speaks way better.
But then something embarassing happened to Edwards. I'm sure it wasn't connected with Hillary in any way...

The Dems allied themselves with the whacko leftist fringe years ago as an antidote to Republican electoral success, but now they're finding these alliances...inconvenient. Senator Hopenchange's relationship with Ayers is a case in point: it made good sense for Obama to cultivate Ayers when Obama was a ladder-climbing pol in Chicago; now, it's a huge embarassment and might be one of the reasons The Messiah loses (if he does indeed lose). Then you've got the assorted grab-bag of fruits and nuts: the Code Pinkos, the MoveOn crowd, the aging "peace at any cost" anti-war zealots, and the various other gay/lesbian/transgender/multi-culti natterers who care only about their own agendas and aren't shy about bloviating in public about them.
It should speak volumes that Joe Lieberman -- a true liberal even if he is stout-hearted on American foreign policy -- is speaking at the Republican convention. Both Lieberman and McCain (and Dubya, for that matter) have more in common with the Democrat platforms of pre-1960 than they do with anything that Reagan might have espoused. On almost every issue except national defense, their views are almost doctrinaire Democrat. Particularly in terms of economic policy and government regulatory power.

I was in a contest to guess who Barack was going to pick for his running mate. I said, "What the heck, I'll pick the absolute worst choice possible, the one that no sane person would ever pick." And I won! Thanks Barack! Between your inability to speak coherently without a TelePrompTer and Senator Biden's inability to speak with putting his foot in his mouth, this is going to be the most entertaining campaign ever!

I started thinking as I was coming over here, why is it that Joe Biden is the first in his family ever to go to a university? Why is it that [his] wife...... is the first in her family to ever go to college? Is it because [they're] fathers and mothers were not bright? Is it because [he's] the first Biden in a thousand generations to get a college and a graduate degree that [he] was smarter than the rest?
