What's so awesome about that? He's still alive. He wasn't even knocked out and sat up right away. If he really had a grenade, he could have pulled it when the cops approached and injured/killed them. Me, I would have strung a wire across the road and pulled it, thereby decapitating him.

This is more cinematic. I approve. I don't care about the law enforcement doctrine, I want the spectacular wipe.

The more interesting aspect is, how will they blame this on the U.S?

"After recent terrorist attacks..."
What a minute - you mean the country that appeased bin Laden in an election has had terrorist attacks since that appeasement? How is that possible?

I went to my bank after work today, but was stopped by a sign on the door that simply read: Closed Due To Robbery, with no further explanation. Weird.
I don't think to Portland police were as wicked super kickass as these Spanish cops, though. I didn't note any shattered getaway car parts or bandit corpses strewn about.

Andrew,
What to hear a funny story? My stepdad's son, Greg went to the bank not to long ago and as he drove in he noticed that all the blinds were down. A man was standing outside with a bag at his feet. Greg drove by him and rolled down his window and asked what was going on. the man said "I just robbed this banK and we are waiting on the police." well Greg quickly left and found out later on TV that the guy robbed the bank because he had heard it was a federal offense and thought he would go to federal prison, which is pretty nice compared to the homelessness he had been experiencing. Turns out he was wrong about the federal prison thing. heh.

There is a real simple principle to be applied here, mi amigos.
If the perp lives, repeats will occur.
If he does not, there will be none.
Es simplicidad, no?

But no, had to go for the cool bike.
Course, if he were smart he could make money a lot more easily than robbing people.

If we tried that in the States though, the lawyers would be lined up sue for him before he hit the ground.

Don't bring a hand grenade to a car fight.
Hahahahaha!
I am afraid I agree that that move would have made the perp a multi-millionaire in this country.
The video was great however I would have liked to see the use of an unmarked police steamroller once the guy was on the ground.
