Evil Shits Hack Epilepsy Support Site To Post Strobing, Seizure-Inducing Lightshow

Oh, what's the big deal? It's not like anyone ever dies or suffers brain damage from a seizure.

Oh wait, they actually do?

RyAnne Fultz, a 33-year-old woman who suffers from pattern-sensitive epilepsy, says she clicked on a forum post with a legitimate-sounding title on Sunday. Her browser window resized to fill her screen, which was then taken over by a pattern of squares rapidly flashing in different colors.
Fultz says she "locked up."
"I dont fall over and convulse, but it hurts," says Fultz, an IT worker in Coeur dAlene, Ohio. "I was on the phone when it happened, and I couldnt move and couldnt speak."
After about 10 seconds, Fultzs 11-year-old son came over and drew her gaze away from the computer, then killed the browser process, she says.

It's especially witty that they did this in an epilepsy support forum, where one could expect the most severely stricken to gather.

Well, played gents. Enjoy prison. There are a lot of funny hi-jinks that go on in prison, too, and I'm sure you guys are tough-guy studs and should have no problem fitting in.

6 EC, not going to happen. The people that did this mostly came from anonymous and they've been experienced at getting away with stupid shit like this. Alot of news organizations have done reports on anonymous in general. Example, they've yet to find the people that were able to get a crash accident scene picture of a girl killed which they sent it to her parents.

There are other parts of anonymous as well that are public such as the late scientology protests worldwide which mostly comes from either 4chan and SA with collaborations from other online forums too. Now these type of people are peaceful in general.

37 I've got a minor form of epilepsy, so needless to say, I'm pretty pissed off about this. All I would have gotten is a sharp pain and some memory loss, but people can die from this. I'm sure a lot of you don't know the history of CoS. I did some reading up on them several years ago, and a lot of what I read is very scary. If you disagree with them, they tend to follow you around, videotape you, harass your family and friends in an attempt to get you to stop talking bad about them.

Several years ago, I was at a picket in Boston. A few weeks later, they were calling my pastor and had called me on the day of my grandfather's funeral. I haven't picketed since, but not because of them -- I was just getting into a relationship at the time and didn't want to drag him into it.

Them pretending to be people from Anonymous would not surprise me -- a woman named Paulette Cooper was harassed by them for 15 years because of a book she wrote about the group, including facing prison time because of some people making bomb threats and blaming her among other things. The only reason she was cleared was because an FBI raid found some documents showing that the CoS was trying to destroy her.

Them claiming not to do this kind of thing anymore is a lie. They still try to dead-agent people. But in the case of Anonymous they can't get a handle on anyone in particular, so they are attacking the group in general.

To someone with no direct experience with Anonymous, this sounds like anon. But it doesn't sound like it to me. Anonymous are assholes, but their particular mode of fun is to block all the doors in Habbo Hotel, spam giant floating pink penises at Cnet interviews in Secondlife, raid the myspace pages of people trying to bend them to a will not their own, and make Hal Turner cry. Causing real physical harm isn't in their normal SOP.

That said, whoever did this needs to fry. If it was a rouge anon, the others will probably out him in some horrendous way since this isn't really a 'lulzy' thing to do.
