— Jack M. I report. You decide.
Comment of the Day #1, from the aforementioned Eric Thomas Bradley in my thread about the Paulbot attacking Hillary Clinton.
It makes me laugh that some of you people are so ordinary in your outlook that you think "holding a steady job" is some kind of virtue. Being told what to do your entire life is the definition of slavery. I've hardly ever worked, have accumulated a good deal of wealth, lived in eight countries and visited 76, and have never inherited one cent from anyone. It is only the un-courageous who hide behind their jobs to have some sort of identity. I feel sorry for all the people who have no idead how to live.Eric Thomas Bradley
Comment of the Day #2, posed as a follow-up in that thread by Toby928.
I find your lifestory intriguing and would like to subscribe to your newsletter
Hmm. Have I been misguided in thinking that there is something admirable about holding a steady job? Is this the protestant work ethic blinding me to the joys of leading the life of a wandering minstrel? Is Toby928 correct in wanting to know more about how he too can also experience the blessed freedoms provided by this exemplar of a devil-may-care life of international experience galore that lesser mortals dare but to dream of acheiving? Or is Toby928 more correct in his assertion, via snark, that Eric Thomas Bradley just might be an insufferable douche?
I might have to flip a coin. What do y'all think?
Oh yeah. And who the hell is Eric Thomas Bradley, anyway?

I dunno dude. I have no problems with not working.
If I could stop working, I would. If I inherited 35 million dollars I'd become an artiste, or maybe go shout at people on Fox News about politics.
I never understood those guys have like 15 million dollars and get 5 million dollar christmas bonuses and work 60 hours a week and commit felonies.
WTF? Dude you have enough. Why are you working? Why aren't you in Tahita?
If I got a $5mil christmas bonus, the only white color crime I'd be commiting would fall under lewd and lacivious behavior. Maybe rack me up a little public intoxication and indecent exposure charges.

"Holding down a job" is code; it means somebody who's a contributor, rather than a leech.
Since most of the Union goons have turned into leeches, the equivalent today is the self-employed person. Translator to the stars or welder with a second-hand pickup, they're "holding down a job" twenty-first century style.

Ric

Hey, I think Toby928 got that newsletter bit from a Simpsons episode. In fact that Simpsons episode just played on the Fox affiliate where I live. It was the episode where Burns, because of a poor performance during a company fire drill, required everyone to go to a park in the mountains for that teamwork exercise where they all have to get to the cabin at the top of the mountain. When Homer is explaing the trip to his family at home, Bart says teamwork, sharing, and other good things are for suckers. At that point, homer says, "I like your views and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
So, is that all I have to do to get comment of the day? Plagiarize the Simpsons? Can do!

Oh ETB you are soooooo cool! Can I be in your club?
God you're a douchenozzle. Some of us have...oh what's that called again?....Oh yeah...RESPONSIBILITIES!
Tell me how do you relieve a long stressful day of giving blowjobs for a few schekels? Maybe a Singapore Sling at Raffles Bar?

You could always be a surf bum and live in a shack on the beach, like The Great Kahuna or Kanaka. They're only jobs were to surf, sleep, eat and bed down foxy chicks like Gidget and that saucy Ann Bowman. Ride the wild surf, spoon the poon.
Wasn't Gidget only about . . . 13?? Wouldn't that get you a . . . stretch in the joint?
Oh, and did anyone consider that ETB is a regular?

Dirty Sanchez runs for $3.28 in a tijuana toilet house, though it's free for repeat customers whose initials rhyme with ETB.
As a side not, Hot Carls are always free; two girls and one cup and all (google it if you don't know).

Well I use 4 names with a hyphen, have never worked a day in my life, I was an orphan and lived in a cardboard box under an overpass in Belize City until I was 18 and now, at age 20, I have lived in 9 countries and traveled to 77 others and I am independently wealthy and as I write this I'm having sex with three, beautiful supermodels (you know them, but they made me promise not to tell, Well, Okay, just their initials HK, GB and CC, c'mon GB, more suck-action) on my 20 crewman yacht as we sail around the south Pacific.
Oh, and I also know how many licks it takes to get the chewey center of a tootsie-pop.
