— Ace Cute:
Regarding the plant, retired Brig. Gen. Keith H. Kerr, that you sent to ask me the question at the CNN-YouTube debate last night in FloridaSend more!!!
Merry Christmas,
Duncan Hunter
Peggy Noonan agrees, and celebrates the tough questions from obvious Republican partisans in the Democratic You Tube debate:
I will never forget that breathtaking moment when, in the CNN/YouTube debate earlier this fall, the woman from Ohio held up a picture and said, "Mrs. Clinton, Mr. Obama, Mr. Edwards, this is a human fetus. Given a few more months, it will be a baby you could hold in your arms. You all say you're 'for the children.' I would ask you to look America in the eye and tell us how you can support laws to end this life. Thank you."They were momentarily nonplussed, then awkwardly struggled to answer, to regain lost high ground. One of them, John Edwards I think, finally criticizing the woman for being "manipulative," using "hot images" and indulging in "the politics of personal destruction." The woman then stood in the audience for her follow up. "I beg your pardon, but the literal politics of personal destruction--of destroying a person--is what you stand for."
Oh, I wish I weren't about to say, "Wait, that didn't happen." For of course it did not. Who of our media masters would allow a question so piercing on such a painful and politically incorrect subject?
I thought of this the other night when citizens who turned out to be partisans for Mrs. Clinton, Mr. Obama and Mr. Edwards asked the Republicans, in debate, would Jesus support the death penalty, do you believe every word of the Bible, and what does the Confederate flag mean to you?
PS: It is of course perfectly absurd to speculate that the media would be so unprofessional as to allow hardcore partisan feelings to infect their news judgment.
Thanks to CJ.
PPS: Yes, Jones, I know the question was never asked. That's the point of her remark. I didn't think I should spoil the fun right away but instead chose to play around.
Catch up, people. I won't be slowed down by laggards and goldbrickers.

Um actually this was a hypothetical question from a non existant republican that peggy wished were asked at the democratic debate.
I didnt have a problem with the questions per se i just wished cnn had not portrayed these people as republicans when they were not.
I think that in a republican primary debate some of the questioners should have been republicans. I get the feeling that very few were.

Somebody needs to take those nancy boys to task. The MSM gets all cantankerous when a bunch of pajama-clad morons goes after them so I've no doubt whatsoever that a serious presidential candidate could destroy their sheen of impartiality.

That press 'gaggle' Ace linked to? I mean that was heaping pile of stupid.
That's why I loved Rumsfeld so much, he wasn't afraid to call them out. I'll never forget a presser and some ahole journo posed a question to Rummy
"The White House says such and such" and Rummy responded -- "House don't talk."
Stupid journo confused sort of asked Rummy what he meant...
"The White House says, houses don't talk, they don't speak, it's a building"
or something like that.

Way back when the Mass Turnpike was built, tolls were authorized to help pay for the initial build. It was actually part of the legislation that the tolls would be removed as soon as the construction, not maintenance costs, were accounted for.
Fast forward decades when not only had the road been paid for 5 times over, not only had the tolls not been removed, they were firmly in place and the fees were raised consistently. Enter Governor Romney who began a campaign to dismantle and remove the tolls against an almost complete Democratic legislature and highly partisan press core. This was a memorable exchange:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-S9Ntek9QE
ps..Romney's replacement, the memorable Deval Patrick, ran on a campaign of reversing Romney on the tolls and also overturning the executive order Romney had enacted assigning the State Police to work in concert with ICE on the illegal problem. The press cheered both initiatives.
Framing matters.

I wasn't too crazy about Hunter's answer to the question. It was just the sort of response the left expects from Republicans.
Hellooooo! The left is not voting for any republican so gives a shit what they think.

I guess that's something good that came out of this farce.
I maintain that CNN had this planned a long time ago. Wolf needed to explain that the questioners were just undecided voters...he knew, they all knew.
It was a planned hit.

The next time you hear some journalist talking about his duty to "the public's right to know", ask yourself why no journalist has asked this question:
"Mrs. Clinton, can you please tell us the purpose of your advisor Mr. Berger's confessed theft of classified documents from the National Archives prior to the 9-11 Commission hearings, and since he has also confessed to destroying selected documents from that theft, why your campaign, and presumably an administration lead by you, would include an official guilty of behavior so prejudicial to national security, not to mention the appearance of basic trustworthiness? Thankyou."
Short form:
"Mrs. Clinton, what was in the classified documents that Sandy Berger destroyed to keep from the 9-11 Commission?"

Amen. Though I can't see Brit Hume being so gullible as to not spot a Republican plant in a Democrat debate. I get the impression Anderson Cooper has no ability to see through disingenuous propaganda from the left. Ten minutes of watching his Earth in the Lurch series was all the evidence necessary to see that he is not sharpest tool in the box.

What I'm really enjoying about this campaign season is that, unlike in 1992, there are places like this blog to expose and document media fraud.
I had two customers in my store yesterday going off about what a sham the debates have been, and I'm fairly certain neither of them visits AOSHQ (God I hope not
)
Remember 60 Minutes interview with Billary? The producer admitted years later that whole thing was an attempt to help Clinton's image. Shamelessly.
Well, they aren't getting away with it this time.

Mrs. Clinton-
In years past, you have been very vocal about something you called a vast right wing conspiracy. Many claim that you have created your own left wing conspiracy and used loopholes in campaign finance laws to help you and your allies channel 10's of millions of dollars to "advocacy groups" such as Media Matters and Moveon.org. These groups have achieved 501(c)3 non-profit status but many argue that they are nothing more than extentions of the Democratic Party and you in particular and that you are using these groups and non-tax paying organizations to respond to critics and plant false news stories.
Mrs. Clinton, will you stop your affliliation with these sham advocacy groups and insist that they relinquish their tax free status or will you continue to use them as attack dogs while they hide behind the facade of advocacy?
Oh, and your ass is enormous.
Thank you for taking my question.

Here is a Huffpo piece that kinda sums up what our side was thinking or saying before the youtube debate. Some were very prescient. Others such as Malkin seemed to anticipate how it would go down but now acts shocked that CNN would have done such a thing.

Mrs. Clinton, how do you think your husband's pardoning of 16 convicted members of the Puerto Rican seperatist group FALN fit into his counter-terrorism policies given that the FALN were known to have committed over 120 bombings in the United States? And a follow-up please, do you think this action helped your run for the Senate given the large population of Puerto Ricans in New Your City?

Yeah but Hillary's new girlfriend, Huma Abedin is so much hotter then her 4 year room-mate at Wellesley Ellie Acheson, who is the founding Director of Public Policy and Government Affairs for the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. Ms. Acheson also finds the time to head the Lesbian Gay Bi-Sexual Transgendered Americans For Hillary Steering Committee.
Who really cares if Huma Abedin's relatives are linked to Jihadist extremism...
It certainly doesn't warrant a question any more then Hillary should be asked about Hsu, or George Soros, or Sant S. Chatwal, or Gupta, or Oscar Wyatt's conviction, or Hillary's summer internship with a lawfirm, Treuhaft, Walker and Burnstein, run by Communists, or Media Fund's fine by the FEC, or MoveOn.org's FEC fines, or Hillary's "suspension of belief" smear of Petreaus now that his plan is working in Iraq, or Hillary's threats against GQ that got an unflattering article pulled, or Sandy Berger's conviction and hiring, or Kathleen Willey's new book, or Hillary's support of amnesty for illegal aliens including her recent flip-flopping on drivers licenses, or Hillary's use of the IRS and FBI and private investigators against political enemies, or...

A Democratic Party bigwig
An antiwar activist
A Union official
An Islamic leader
A Harry Reid staffer
A radical Chicano separatist
In other words... a representative sample of the (D)emocrat party.
Edwards and Obama remained tight-lipped because if they win the nomination over Hillary(D) these will be their partisan activist liars.
Last Night we endured jeering Ron Paulestinians in the audience and demonization of (R)epublicans by Youtube questioners portraying the party as the worst stereotypes of rural America posing questions crafted by (D)emocrat party activists up to, and including, a top Kerry campaigner, and current a member of Hillary Clinton's Gay Steering Committee, who was offered a soap-box by CNN to lecture and demand the (R)epublicans answer for a Clinton administration policy regarding Gays in the military.
Somebody should look Anderson Cooper right in the eye and say "I'm not asking and you don't have to tell"...
CliNtoN is not a news organization, they are an extension of the Hillary Clinton(D) campaign.

"Mr. Edwards, how many undocumented workers were involved in the construction of your palace?"
"Mrs. Clinton, what is you specific plan for ending the war in Iraq, and I would like a follow up."
Those jackasses would NEEEEEVER concede to going on FOX, they know they would be exposed for the goddamn frauds they are. It goes with all liberals, when you argue a point and don't let their vague generalities stand, they end the debate. They can do that with that fraud Blitzer because he wants to help them, but Brit Hum wouldn't put up with the flabby stupidity of their statements.
What a total sham. I don't recall the liberal media in the 80's being this suckholeish. I think they were more even towards everybody, and not just some paid off PR machine.
Pathetic.

Some great questions* for Mrs. Clinton.
(These are not my own but I would love to see Hitlery! field them just the same. Link below.)
1. In May of 2002, you went on the floor of the U.S. Senate and held up a copy of the New York Post, which had the headline "Bush Knew," implying that President Bush had advance knowledge of the 9-11 attacks, but did nothing to stop it. Was this a responsible thing for a U.S. senator to do, implying that the president allowed the 9-11 attacks to happen?
2. In 1991, you praised Anita Hill, saying she had "changed history with her courageous testimony." Do you really believe that Anita Hill was sexually harassed by Clarence Thomas? And if so, what is your opinion of powerful men who use the power of their positions to sexually harass younger, vulnerable women?
3. In 2001, you accused the Bush administration of adding arsenic to the nation's drinking supply. (You said, "How can the Bush administration justify wanting Americans to ingest more, not less, arsenic?") Can you explain to the American people why you think president Bush would want to add a poisonous element to our drinking supply?
4. In October of 2002, on the floor of the U.S. Senate, you stated that Saddam Hussein had "given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al-Qaida members." Are you willing to provide documentation of this, especially given the fact that you've said President Bush used "faulty evidence" to justify going into Iraq?
5. Your husband is making millions of dollars from speeches, as well as serving on several corporate boards. How will you guarantee that there will be no conflict of interest between his "outside interests" and your administration?
6. Ken Starr replaced Robert Fiske as the independent counsel. Robert Ray eventually replaced Ken Starr. Fiske has recently said about Starr's Whitewater investigation, "Everything I would have done, Ken Starr did." Robert Ray stated that your testimony in the White House Travel Office investigation was "factually inaccurate." Is it still your contention that Ken Starr and the independent counsel engaged in a "vast, right-wing conspiracy" against you and your husband?
7. Republican Rep. Dennis Hastert has stated that during a discussion of health care reform you told him: "People are basically greedy and won't make the tough decisions. They won't take their kid to the hospital when he needs to go because they want to keep the money for themselves." Is the former speaker of the House lying? If he's not lying, why do you have such a low opinion of parents in this country?
8. Back in the early '90s, Bob Woodward quoted you as saying, "I believe in evil and I think that there are evil people in the world." Instead of talking about Islamic terrorists, you were referring to people who were opposed to your health care reform plan. Do you still believe that people who are against health care reform are evil?
9. Woodward's Watergate partner, Carl Bernstein, has a biography about you. In it he quotes numerous Democrats, both on and off the record, speaking of your temper. Considering the fact that so many Democrats have spoken about your temper and poor judgment, do you think you posses the proper temperament and good judgment to be president of the United States?
10. Arkansas businesswoman Juanita Broaddrick has accused your husband of sexual assault. She's also said that just weeks after the rape, you approached her and gave her a message that she, Juanita, "was to keep her mouth shut" about the rape. Is Juanita Broaddrick lying?

Senator Clinton, Senator Obama, Senator Edwards: You are running to become chief executive of the federal government of the United States, the largest single enterprise in the world. Just what have you run before? Have you ever run a business? A governmental agency? Served as a governor, or mayor, or city manager? Have you ever in your life had to follow a budget or meet a payroll? If not, why do you think that President of the United States is an entry-level position? Thank you.

"Mr. Edwards, given the skyrocketing cost of hair-cuts, do you believe in donating matching funds to the local food-banks?...Thank-you."
"Mr. Osama...er, Obama, if elected president, would you give priority to fighting Fanatic Fundamentalist Islamic Terrorism, or fighting Global Warming?...What would Jesus do?...Thank-you."

"Messers, and Madam, in the interest of Peace, Harmony, and Unity, if elected president, would you be willing to open and disclose John Kerry's complete Military Files, including his original discharge, and once and for all, put to rest the claims made by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth?"..."Yes" or "No" would be sufficient...Thank-you."

Ths problem for conservatives is who do we vote for? It appears to me that John Mc Cain and Joe Lieberman together might be the only hope for our country to save us from the marxists and environmental whackos.
I am almost 80. Through all my adult years, I have maintained faith in the innate good sense of the American people. They have failed me only twice; first with Carter and then with CliNtoN.
Please don't fail me again!...........Our Republic is at stake! ............and no it is not a democracy, something our Founding Fathers fought hard to prevent for democracy can lead to anarchy and that is, with today's crop of left wing democrats, what we face!
