Dirty Scandis Release 35 Year Old Footage of McCain's Release from North Vietnamese Hellhole
— Ace

Amazing stuff.

From Hot Air, which links one of the more amazing assertions by the unhinged left in recent days (and that's saying something!): That John McCain was "well treated" by his North Vietnamese captors.

You can see all that care and compassion in his limp and mangled arms.

Well, he still does have at least 50% use and range of motion in his limbs. That's definitely a glass-half-full sort of thing as far as I'm concerned!

Stop complaining, John. You had it easy. Don't you realize that Khalid Sheik Mohammad had water dribbled into his nose?

1 What's a little arm mangling among friends?

2 FINALLY.

The Scandi-North Vietnam-Soviet Union axis is exposed!

3 Yeah, it was Jane Fonda who really suffered. Forced to wear that steel helmet while they spun her around on that ack-ack gun and made her smile and laugh against her will. Torture, my friends.

4 People can certainly criticize his politics but the scummy left is not fit carry water for John McCain. People like Bill Clinton and Obama are nothing but cowardly parasites that have done nothing but suck on the public teat. We are very fortunate to have people like John McCain . . . otherwise how would useless slugs like Clinton and Obama have the freedom to lie, cheat and demean our Republic.

5 The Left is beclowning itself without regard for the future of their brand.
Thank God for that.

Oh, and fuck the lot of 'em.

6 Of course they treated him well.  I mean they could have water-boarded him for 15 seconds and been real monsters.

7 Good point, Brendan.

8 So if he was "well treated", does that mean that anything the Vietnamese did to McCain, we can do to captured jihadis at Gitmo?

We can only hope.

America!  Fuck yeah!

9 McCain and Obama are doing a forum tonight on "service". One of the organizers was on FNC earlier explaining they would be talking about how their (Obama and McCain) service impacts who they are and how they'd function as President.

Let's see...'community organizer' or 'war hero pilot/POW'?  Talk about bringing a knife to a gun fight.

And this footage just shows up on the day of the forum? It's clear the Scandis are RAAACCCISSSSTTSSSS!

Gosh, it's not like they did something vile like threaten him with a big vagina or something vile and awful like that, Rovian even.

We should get over this, we have real heroes like Joe Biden, who have taken excruciatingly awful, vile helicopter rides hundreds of feet off the ground, a man like Joe Biden could have been killed, which is a lot more than can be said about a Neo Con like McBush.

Finally some optimism from the left.

13 I no longer make fun of McCain. I may disagree with him, but Obama is not worthy to carry his jockstrap. Hell, the whole f'n left, including the MSM adjunct, is not worthy to carry John McCain's jockstrap.

Fuck all those ass clowns. Fuck them all.

14 Ironically, I was there on the other end of that flight, waiting for the POWs to come home at Clark Air Base.

15 That's pretty cool, JFH.

16 Watching him limp away is heart-wrenching. I almost wish I could understand what they were saying on the video. I say "almost" because it might be something like, "Clearly the imperialist air pirate McCain was treated better than he deserved."

17 Typical DKos lefty:
This can't possibly be real!  They didn't have color back then.  This is Rovian fakery.  They didn't have digital cameras in those days, so how did it get in that format.  This goes right up there with the faked lunar landings.

So wasn't Randi Rhodes "swift-boating" McCain by saying McCain had been well treated?

Shouldn't John Kerry be all over her ass, defending McCain?

"Stop complaining, John. You had it easy. Don't you realize that Khalid Sheik Mohammad had water dribbled into his nose?"  Sorry, not even dribbled into the nose.

"Waterboarding consists of attaching a prisoner to an inclined board, covering his face with plastic wrap, and pouring water over him, creating in him instant panic and an overwhelming sensation of drowning. "*

Okay, I'm not gay but John McCain was a pretty good looking guy back then.  Now that he's older looks like hell, and that a little scary to me because I'm going to get older too and I'm not starting from being nearly as good looking.

What the flip am I going to look like when I'm 76?  I am going to be one ugly mo-fo retard.

25 Cheer up, Steve O! You'll probably be dead before then. No worries!

26 The spin here in Sweden (yes, I am a Scandi!) was roughly : "He wasn't THAT badly beaten, wasn't he?"  And of course the swedish media are totally behind Obama, leftist bastards the lot.
