— Ace Oh-- and also: Methamphetamines.
I know what you're all worried about.
Is he an R or is he a D?
Well... Let's just let the absence of party identification answer that question.
Party affiliation -- none, apparently. He is, like Child Stalker Andrew "Bareback City" Sullivan, a Party of One.
But just to make it official.
How can the media even claim to be unbiased when every single fucking article about a Democrat in a scandal refuses to report his partisan affiliation?
Thanks to Alice H.

Um, I have news for you, dickwad (D) - this is a CRIME. That makes it very public.
Thank you for understanding the justice system you are supposed to represent.

Great. Hire illegals to perform the Military Construction of Veterans complexes, to work the Agriculture fields, to squat on rural lands prior to development raising the costs, abscond with our Food and Drugs and contaminate what is left for consumption, and be given free Housing as appropriated.
The legislation enabling illegals with no means to qualify for loans MORTGAGES that also benefited thieving citizenry destroyed America's general housing market and failing banking and investing and insurance firms.
I'll bet a nickle to a doughnut that Boyd's signature and fingerprints are all over this entire episode of corruption. Ax him.

Family matter.
Well, LUCKY YOU Congressman, our respectable press does not care about criminality of the Democrat persuasion, they only care about republican "family" matters and meth induced human smuggling unless republican does NOT pose a problem. DUH! you're in the peach congressman! On Nancy's shorltist I am sure.

I don't think they're even bothering to make that claim any more, Ace. When 70% of the public knows that you're in the tank for the Dems, there's not much point.
I think they're in survival mode -- if O! doesn't win and do...something...to stop us all from reading the wrong sites and listening to the wrong radio stations, the MSM as we know it will be GONE before the next presidential election.

Sounds like they listed - then thought better of and sloppily removed - his state of origin as well, on the off chance that "Florida" would give readers too many clues to use in tracking down his party affiliation.

"According to court documents the illegal immigrants said they were to pay Boyd $3,000 each to be smuggled into the United States and transported to their final destination."
This makes it "trafficking," [if I'm not mistaken] and a far more serious crime than just "smuggling."

@28:
Um, that would require the GOP to, you know, actually fight their enemies.
Ain't never gonna happen. Pre-emptive surrender just feels so much better - it's like real velour.

This guy is actually one of the four or five most conservative dems in the house. He has to be because his district (Fla Panhandle) is very conservative.
So I'm pleasantly surprised the articles don't describe him as Allen Boyd, a conservative congressman from Florida ...

If that congressman still thinks a public appeal for privacy will save his son from public attention, he has another thing coming. The media types saved the party affiliation for The Cause, his son will have to take one for the team. It's scandalicious!

The fact that this person is the child of a democrat doesn't support the new talking point that you're a bad parent if your child does something bad illegal; so in the words of Emily Litella never mind...
Instead let's go look at Gov Palin's E-mails to see what we can find. We're liberals progressives and we just can't stand it when anyone invades our privacy or the privacy of terrorists freedom fighters

Its 2am. The phone rings...
"Mmmm...Hello"
"Hi, Dad. Its John."
"Yes, John. I recognize your voice. Its 2am. What do you need."
"Well, I didn't mention it, but I decided to take a little vacation."
"Ok."
"A vacation to Mexico."
--silence--
"And I got arrested as I was coming through the border station."
--more silence-- (The Congressman is wondering: "Who can I call to make this go away.")
"Ok, John. What are the charges?"
"Umm. Well.....I gave a ride to some guys I met, and the Border Patrol now says they're illegal immigrants. They say I was 'human smuggling'."
--silence--
"Anything else?"
"Yeah. I'm afraid so.... I forgot I had a little bag of crystal in the car, and they got me on that too."
"And I had a gun."
The Congressman wonders: "How did I raise such an Excitable Boy?"
"And how do I get re-elected?"

As Scotian correctly points out, heres the second sentence of the article as it appears at 1100h Cali time today:
According to court documents John F. Boyd, son of Democratic Florida Congressman Allen Boyd, attempted to drive through a Border Patrol checkpoint in Willcox on Sunday with five illegal immigrants, including a 6-year-old girl.
Did some newsroom yob go in and add that in after the fact, or what? Was it not there the first time or is Ace smokin too much Marley Barley? Please advise.
