79 was an interesting year. Tom Waits dancing with his bride-to-be at the O.N. Klub in Silverlake to a punk band with horns making a glorious mess out of a Wilson Pickett tune. And Chuck E. moping at the bar, trying to make himself believe he was in love with Donna Wilkes.
