— Ace Somehow Michael Moore forgot to mention those BinLadin family connections in Farhenheit: 911.
John Gibson was going to discuss this on his show today at 5:45, but that's passed, alas. There is a repeat on later tonight, I think.
Thanks to the folks at Censure Carter.
Although I prefer my own organization, "Cornhole Carter."

Jimmah's incompetence, arrogance and apparent stupidity caused the economic well-being of America to be compromised, with interest rates sky- rocketing.
Why do I love Jimmah? I purchased the 30-year Treasury Bond at 13.75% and all the monies accrued are the direct result of Jimmah's buffoonery.
Jimmah, thanks for being a fool!
PS Billy was the smart one!

But maybe this will be brought up later on a more popular newscast, that will get rehashed, again, and again, and again, and again.
Frankly, a family worth billions, will have connections to everyone who is worth millions. So I don't think we should join that "money is complicity" argument.
I completely support a Cincinnati wide "Cornhole" competition, as long as noone gives him the "safe word/phrase" To protect the security of the "safe word/phrase" I suggest that the "safe word/phrase" be "I wish you were george bush, I love getting cornholed by george bush"
That way even if the full tournament isn't completed, we can get some satisfaction out of the safe word.

Umm...I saw it reported on Gibson's show. Not quite sure what the time was, but it was on.

To suggest such things (Bush is a real fucker who is in bed with Bin Laden and the Jews) is hurtful and possilby illegal. I am sure I could find a judge to throw your ass in jail for posting that.
Wow, the depths that some will go to just to settle political scores.
shame shame.

Also, the Bin laden Group works mainly in Muslim countries, mainly for gov'ts and I believe a large part of their work is for the Saudis, right? So if they are bad people, why haven't our valiant allies the Saudis shut them down?
These are kind of important questions that should be answered for a story like this to make any sense. But, then, Ace's odd obsession with Carter bashing must have got the better of him.

Ace is only obsessed with Cornholeling, not Carter Bashing. Carter bashes himself.
Posted by: Pupster at May 31, 2006 01:17 PM (NMGPj)
Larry raises an important point! Why haven't they been shut down? Not only is Bush in league with the Jooos and the Saudis, but also America's greatest enemy...Carter!!!! oh and the Bin Laden's too.
Can we get Dan "no editiorial oversight" Rather to report on this?
Posted by: joeindc44 at May 31, 2006 01:17 PM (K0x/A)
And yes, this still matters. Michael Moore's lies have become gospel truth abroad. Leftists complain that Bush has made the world hate us; I blame Michael Moore and all the leftists who gave him legitimacy.
"Why do they hate us?"

I tend to agree that the binLadin family's various business dealings and donations are not indicative of Osama's support for, and cooperation with, any particular American business or politician.
As I'm sure you took great pains to point out when Fahrenheit 911 tried to suggest that Bush was in bed with Osama because he helped bin Ladin family members get out of the country on 9/14. (By the way-- the operation was ordered by, and run by, the left's favorite anti-terrorist "expert" Richard Clarke.)
You said all that at the time, right?
Right?

This seemed to be the argument when Farenheit 9/11 was released. Did the rules change again? It's hard to keep up with you leftists.
BTW, I think this is a bit silly. I think Ace is just trying to point out the inconsistency that Larry just now so capably demonstrated for us.
Thanks, Lar! And make sure you get that knee looked at. Those sudden jerking movements can be hard on your ligaments.

Carter wasn't the sitting president at the time of 9/11. Questions to the president as to why the bin Ladens were spirited away without interrogation are entirely appropriate, imho, although I agree that the venue of Farenheit 9/11 was not where they should have been made.

Hypocrisy: the Democrat's true medium.
Posted by: bbeck at May 31, 2006 01:52 PM (qF8q3)
Not a single prominent Democrat spoke out against it, despite it spreading horrendous lies about our country which are still believed around the world to this day. Not one.

bbeck: You are confusing "ran from" with "has a life".
No I'm not. You have no life and you run all the time from everyone here the second your arguments are ripped open.
Wife, kids, work, activities, exercise, etc.
Don't drag your family through the mud to cover your cowardice. It's beyond pathetic.
Sorry I can't spend all my time justifying myself to you.
Translation One: when the going gets tough, Larry gets out.
Maybe if you treated people you disagree with with a modicum of respect, I might, but that time has passed.
You're such a liar, Turd. That abortion thread had SEVERAL people talking to you as if you were human -- I know better -- and yet you STILL took off after whining about me and ignoring all the "civil" people you claim to desire.
I'll save my rebuttals for people who a) have something to say and b) can stay moderately civil.
See last statement, Liar.
You'll go on pretending it's the overwhelming strength of your arguments that has made me cower in submission.
It's not just the strength of MY arguments, it's the strength of everyone ELSE'S arguments that make you disappear. And the weakness of yours.
I'll not bother checking back for the tirade of insults, skewed statistics, and word salad, street corner psycho ranting that I'm sure will follow.
Translation Two: I AM GOING TO RUN!!! but first, I am DESPERATE to land the last blow in my mind...
I'll be weeping in frustration that my poor, week brain can't compete against your tower intellect and dialectical style.
...and he swings, he misses!

Asking questions about the President's motives and foreign policy goals is not dissent, it's democracy. Unfortunately, Congress isn't doing that. Which is why things aren't looking so good for the R's in '06.

It's fine and easy to say that Bush should do something about the Saudis. Well, he's trying, and gun battles with al-Qaeda are better than the situation back when Clinton was in charge. I don't hear any concrete proposals from the Democrats, just vague goals like "energy independence" and "somehow transform Saudi society".

Will this BS meme never die?
The 9/11 Commission Report, begining on page 329:
Third, we believe that the FBI conducted a satisfactory screening of Saudi nationals who left the United States on charter flights. The Saudi government was advised of and agreed to the FBI's requirement that passengers be identified and checked against various databases before the flights departed. The Federal Aviation Administration representative working in the FBI operations center made sure that the FBI was aware of the flihts of Saudi nationals and was able to screen the passengers before they were allowed to depart.
The FBI interviewed all persons of interest on those flights prior to their departure. They concluded that none of the passengers were connected to the 9/11 attacks and have since found no evidence to change that conclusion. Our own independent review of the Saudi nationals involved confirms that no one with known links to terrorism departed on those flights.
Give it a rest Lar.

Unfortunately, this is the sort of moronic statement we're going to have to deal with from turds like Larry when the Republicans lose for acting like Democrats.
But then, no one cares what Larry thinks anyway. Just look at his hypocrisy and inconsistency on this issue alone. Carter's background was PEANUTS, so getting blown by a terroist is totally fine...but Bush was in OIL to begin with, so there MUST be a connection!

Don't most people get death threats when they consider doing something stupid?
I wouldn't worry about your friends, though, Leftist. After living with you, death would be a step up.

Yep, when will lefties learn that you have to bring your A game when you post as a contrarian. Top-o-your-head stuff is fine if your agreeing with the flow of the thread but dissent requires links ;-)

And the fact that Carter has been in bed with every 2 bit dictator in the world and particularly the middle east (Arafat ring and bells for you), guys who love suicide bombers and blowing up civilians in Israel and beyond ought to bring up questions about Carter's motives. Remember when the Carter admin was being investigated because his brother was taking money from Libya in exchange for access to the President? I do.
See how this game is played, Larry? You guys on the left love this guilt by association. You just don't play it particularly well.
Hey remember when Clinton was relying on Carter's analysis of N. Korea, that Kim was contained and had given up his nuclear aspirations? Good times, eh Larry?
