Can anyone tell me what the deal is in the Hoffman/Scozzofava race?

I keep trying to find some info on it, but I can't seem to find anything. I asked Charlie Gibson, but you know, he hadn't heard anything either.

Really, I'm lost here. Can anyone refer me to a blog that might be covering this race?

It turned out that Dede Scozzofava's campaign was a hoax. That "person" in the photographs was really just mylar pig skin filled with helium. The real Dede Scozzofava is hiding in an attic in Fort Collins, Colorado.
