1 Oops, sorry Dave, didn't mean to step on ya. I was posting when you did, apparently.
I'll go in and change the time stamp.

2 Good to see the Texas flag flown at the same level as the U.S., the way God intended and the annexation papers dictate.

3 Thanks for sharing, it's been a long time since visiting
Belton.
Great parade!

Being from the great state of Socialist Washington ( where people of other colors don't exist), a graduate of UC Berzerkeley in 1972, a 40 plus year resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, and...most importantly, a resident of Cedar Park, Williamson County, Texas for the last year, I offer the following:

Fuck the the West Coast and long live Belton Texas!  Happy Birthday America!

Best to you too.

I was raised in a very small town and, I tell you, nothing beats a small town 4th of July.

The shambling mound under the umbrella looks like you.

Is it you, you?

11 The shambling mound under the umbrella looks like harrison. Is it you, harrison? Why, yes. Yes, it is. I've been stalking Dave. But keep it on the Q.T., tho. He's doesn't know.

Happy 4th to Morons one and all!

We'll watch the fireworks later over the Chemung River, NY.  Our little town puts on the best show I've ever seen.

My other half decided TODAY he had to paint the front steps and is yelling at everyone because they keep forgetting to not go out the front door and dirty the steps that he is prepping.  Even the dog jumped on the steps!  Later, we'll be grilling ribs, corn, etc.

Be careful when playing with your sparklers

13 Thanks Dave, that looks awesome.  True Americana.

I live in Santa Barbara, where the raging fires have canceled the fireworks for tonight.  As long as the wind stays down we're still doing the big family bbq though.

Hope all my fellow morons are having an enjoyable Independence Day.

14 Last one of these I went to was in Seguin. Nothing better than a small-town Texas 4th of July parade.

15 Thanks, Dave. I love Belton. Beautiful courthouse.

16 I went to my sister's place in Evandale, OH for the holiday today. People in the parade throw candy to children & child-like adults (like me ) so attendance tends to be good. My brother-in-law is senior pastor at a church there that is celebrating their 200th anniversary this year. They planned on having 200 members march/ride in the parade. There was a Jr ROTC group, 2 school bands, the K of C, a Buddhist group, several political candidates, a Baptist church group, and enough fire 7 emergency vehicles to put out a fire at the GE plant. And that was about half of the participants. God bless America.

God Bless Texas.

Greetings from la República de Miami. Great demonstration of America the real.

This is the exact reason the Socialist Party (Dems) is trying to eliminate the electorial college and go with a popular vote.

20 You didn't add in the best speech of the festivities.

21 One of the best parades I've seen was in Sierra Madre, Calif. They had this group of geeks who rode these very old stylized 1940-1950s bicycles. They had the push button beeper in the frame ( I don't know what they call those).  Obviously, they were collectors and they were beautiful old bikes.

The shambling mound under the umbrella looks like Steve Skubinna.  Is it you, Steve Skubinna?

No, Mister Fubar, if that is your real name.  For your information I am too busy getting both legs blown off my a VC mine, along with my close personal patriotic friends Jesse MacBeth and Micah Wright, all three of us serving with the Eleventy-Twelfth US Marine Ranger Sniper Seal Battalion, defending your right to sneer at and spit upon true patriots such as us, who have just signed an exclusive contract for books, magazine articles, and "based on a true story" films blowing the lid of Smirkychimp W. McHitlerburton's illegal and immoral war against poor brown people and New Orleans levees.

Plus I am still having PTSD attacks from all the war crimes I did and now bitterly regret.  So don't you dare question my patriotism unless you're ready to send Jenna Bush to fight in Iraq, you chickenhawk!

John Mc Cain and Barach H. Oboma are staying away from the number one issue: When are we going to start drilling for oil in all of the choice locations in our own country? Is there any reason not to, or are our politicians just plain stupid? Their excuses that it would take years to get started

is getting a bit old. It seems to me that if John Mc Cain or Barach Oboma can't or won't get off their backsides and change their negative opinions of our country being self reliant for its oil needs then perhaps neither of these politicians is suited to run our government.

What are the real reasons for a big percentage our countries economy  being  siphoned  off to middle eastern oil concerns or are we just plain stupid to keep listening to their insipid arguments that all is hopeless and that we are responsible for this. In fact we are for electing politicians with no gumption or reasoning powers to determine what is best for our great country. All of their talk is meant to get them into office so that their party can get more jobs for their own elk. They don't give a damn about our great country which is founded on free enterprise-not political hacks that put their ambitions ahead of our country needs.

26 Beware of too good to be true prices. If they are offering these jeans at a very low price, chances are they are counterfeit or are damaged goods.Find out where the website is hosted. It is safer to purchase True Religion mens jeans from a United States-based website, as sellers here are under strict regulation.
