— Gabriel Malor This time from a campaign spokesman:
At a morning background briefing, reporters parried with senior advisers on the characterization of Obamas speech Thursday in Berlin as a campaign rally. The outdoor speech at the Victory Column could draw thousands of people, similar to the size of Obama events in the United States."It is not going to be a political speech," said a senior foreign policy adviser, who spoke to reporters on background. "When the president of the United States goes and gives a speech, it is not a political speech or a political rally."
"But he is not president of the United States," a reporter reminded the adviser.
The whole campaign thinks that they've already won. From any other group of people it would be "stunning arrogance given the mistake-prone campaign, its inexperienced candidate, and his dropping poll numbers." But this is the magic Obama, so simple faith should do it. Clap if you believe.

The arrogance is inherited, but runs strong in this one. Remember John F'n Kerry's bumper sticker.
John Kerry ... President.
Not jk FOR president, mind you, just Name, Rank. it was totally off the wall bullshit, but what do you expect.

Obama The Incapable
incapable of apology when proven wrong!
Where Truman stands head and shoulders above Obama:
"The Buck Stops Here" on Truman's Oval Office desk
"The Buck Stops Here" on Obama's bumper sticker.
The wheels on the bus go 'round and around,
tingling to Mount Parnasssus.

Those pesky American voters could well decide differently , though.

FTA, the subhead reads: Obama tries to dial down politics (!)
Sure, if you just start acting like you have already won, you don't need to bother with the messiness of a political campaign any more, do you?
The fact that Obama cannot find the time to debate his opponent in front of Americans, but has the time to make speeches to the people of other countries, is a perfect example of this tactic - one that can only be pulled off with the connivance of the media.
If any Republican tried this, they would be savaged on every newscast, every frontpage, and on every Saturday Night. It would end up destroying their campaign and smearing their character, eagerly facilitated at every step by the media.

And yet the campaign has not only coronated him, they've got him re-elected for a second term. And for half of a third term.

The important thing is that the rest of the world like us.
Avoiding politics and hard issues will endear Obama and the US to the Euros.

So does the press. When Obama - who continually poll much better than he actually ends up - is basically neck and neck with McCain even in their own polls. With the advantages Obama has he should be up by ten points, and he's not. That should worry them, but they're so caught up in the "everyone I know is voting for him" mentality they apparently haven't even noticed.
Ask Hillary how inEVITAbility works out.

Obama considers it undignified for a sitting president to have to debate his challenger at plebian townhall style events.

Yeah, Obama is fucked. He's got every possible liberal/euro/MSM wind at his back, and he's...
TIED.
In a dead fucking heat. Using suspect polling that ALWAYS undercounts Repub support.
He's fucked. Hell, even the Dukster was up big at this point. As was Gore. And possibly Kerry (I'm too lazy to check).
I'm sure he'll pull a "lead" of a few points after next month's convention, but then we hit the Repub convention and the debates, and he'll be getting too many flip-flop questions.
Flip-flops are death in Presidential elections.

The important thing is to have the rest of the world like us.
And step one is to trumpet union-pandering positions that piss off our major trading partners. Step two? Announce unilateral actions with batshit crazy regimes that want to wipe allies off the map. Step three? SOMEONE GET JACK BAUER ON THE PHONE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!

I am so happy to get some cabal online alz and the cabal alz is given by my close friend who tells me that the cabal gold is the basis to enter into the game. Therefore, I should buy cabal alz with the spare money and I gain some cabal money from other players.
