1 Andrew Sullivan is back at it as well. His site is full of posts questioning McCain's honor and Palin's intelligence, insinuating that she's being "programmed" with the correct answers and shielded from the media. This, on the day she's being followed around by an ABC news crew who are under no restrictions as to what sort of questions they can ask.

Sullivan was a contemptible jackass before Palin appeared on the national political stage. Now he's beneath such contempt.

2 Dude, link this report. It's more definitive.

3 For the love of.....how many times do we have to repeat the "fake but accurate" mantra for you fucking wingnuts to get it? It doesn't have to be true PER SE, it just has to SOUND true to US.

5 Can a judge actually force anybody to join the military? I mean, honestly, how has the ACLU lunatics not attacked this "jail or military" option as being....I dunno, they'd come up with some way of making it sound unconsitutional (like they care what the constituion actually says).

Posted by: paranoidpyro at September 11, 2008 09:07 AM (W4Ivi)

6 They know in their minds that they need to stop talking about Palin, but, they can't frickn' stop. It is hilarious. Look at The Huffpo, 80% of the articles are about her, same with Kos. They are like a bunch of coke heads, they just keeping chasing their tales.

Track Palin vandalized a school?

No.

Little Firestarter Palin?

Dude, she can't help it. Teachers put pressure on her, and sh*t just happens.

8 No, a judge CANNOT force anyone to join the military. Those days are long gone.

Take it from this former Army recruiter.

(Gawd, I hated that assignment...)

The above poster is correct, they cannot stop the palin-crack

Also, thanks to all the service men that have given their all to keep us safe all these years from Muslim scum-murderers

10 Unprecedented. A reader writes:

Track did it.

The press is complicit is an appalling dereliction of duty. They will not ask Sarah Palin the hard questions, so my readers must provide the answers. It is the end of civilization, and they will not vet.

Where are Joe Biden's dental records? Let it not be said that I did not ask. And I will continue to ask, under my readers provide the answers.

13 Here's what Milky Loads has on his site:

Still no word on Palin in days from Derb and Frum and (substantively) Ponnuru or Brookhiser. The Corner is beginning to read like a teenage girl's diary, confessing her various crushes. Weird.

Are you frickin' kiddin' me? Sully posts have been reading like a teenage girl's diary ever since his panties got in a wad about gay marriage.

Jeeez, talk about projection.

14 The left better watch out or I'm going to start spreading rumors that Obama has terrorist ties. I'll even point out the connection to Ayers. I'm sure the media will be balanced and be all over that.

15 The whole media coverage is beginning to sound like The Onion's famous "Department of Libel" story about Drew Carey.

OK, I think Ace should be pissed.

Why do the media ALWAYS pick up any left wing nut cases post and run with it as a real story?

I guess they read that shit.

So here is the question, why aren't any of the crazy posts at Ace picked up by the MSM and run with?

Equal opportunity crazy posts recognition is what we DEMAND.

Except for us forcing McCain to choose Palin, and the right wing Republicans read that, other than that small coup, we have been simply ignored.

I AM PISSED.

Did I tell you, The One was conceived in wedlock, like er Bristol's child?

Don't mention that OK, it would not help Michelle's children.

19 And the journalists awaiting Palin's Alaskan arrival lost patience, saying that her "honeymoon's over"! Of all the nerve. HONEYMOON WITH JOURNALISTS?

Ravish the woman's children savagely and then tell her that her honeymoon is over.

Unbelievable.

21 There is a rumor that Obama did cocain, lied about wanting to join the military, had a black muslim activist solicit a recommendation for him to attend Harvard, won't release any information from his undergraduate school Columbia or his grades from Harvard, had a communist sympathizing mentor growing up, attended a racial separatist church for 20 years, had a quid pro quo real estate deal with a convicted felon, was a business partner and supporter of a unrepentent domestic terrorist, had voted present 130 times as State Senator and voted against a law against leaving babies in a linen closet to die.

25 Not only can a judge not force some one to join the military, if a judge tells someone to enlist or go to jail that person is ineligible for military service. And it's been that way for more than 20 years. Any miliatry recruiter knows this. This is one of those things that keep turning up in media and popular culture that just piss me off.

Posted by: craig mclaughlin at September 11, 2008 09:47 AM (WnJNS)

26 And the trendline for the new stock "Joe Biden to be withdrawn as Democratic VP candidate" a) exists, and b) is up. Sharply overnight.

Is there a double Eagleton scenario, aka the Presidential Ticket Mulligan?

For a smart guy, Andrew is the least self-aware person I know of in the political media world. In fact he's so beyond mere narcissism, that you have to start looking in the DSM for the right label. And I'm coming to strongly suspect that he's got borderline personality disorder based on mood swings, narcissism, and initial charm followed by a wake of spoiled relationships.

The lipstick and pig story.

How about this reply by McCain.

"I don't know if Sen Obama was comparing Gov Palin to a pig, but if he was, he must be blind.

That's not the sort of judgement we need in the White House!"

EAT ME ASSHOLE, oh, he doesn't say that.

I'll reiterate what Sean and Craig said. Any time a judge so much as mentions the service, that individual is ineligible. Period. No waiver. No questions asked. You are done. Through. Put a fork in 'em. Even if the judge were to release someone from civil restraint such as parole or probation or conditional discharge in order to enable someone to enlist, that would be permanently disqualifiying.

As a recruiter, we would check the police records of every applicant any place the lived, worked or went to school, and if ANYTHING showed on the record, we would pull the court records. Track would have been bounced.

So their smears are now inspired by the movie "Stripes"?

This does fit right in line with the John Kerry/MSM idea that you have to be dumb or forced to join the military though.

What about juvenile offenses? I've known of people who had to get their sons records cleared so they could join the military.

Since the Dalibama's fans say its racist to question his grandfather's communist links; his communist mentors; his racist church; his muslim background; his terrorist pals; his community organizer days for ACORN; how he got into Havard despite a lackluster high school and college background;his career as a state legislator maybe the DU crowd can tell me why Obama dresses gerbils in lederhosen as long as they're still going to pread these rumors I thought they might answer that one.

Is that racist too?

39 Those morons don't know that people with criminal records can't entery military service even if they wanted to. In today's all volunteer force the NCOs and officers don't have time to deal with criminals too.

40 It's been against the law for judges to force folks in the military for a long, long time, though I'm sure it happens once in a blue moon.

Funny that folks would stoop this low. He's a brave man entering combat for the first time, and he's being slimed even though he is running for no office.

Chelsea got infantile and silly jokes made of her. Nothing like this.
