What's The Matter With Kansas Democrats? Dems Lose Another Top Recruit for Forbidding 2010 Midterms
— Ace

Okay. If I'm getting this right -- and I think I am -- we should not wet ourselves over the prospect of psychotic murder cultists blowing up our planes as they descend to land over major cities, in order to kill hundreds of additional people on the ground; but we should be afraid of polls that say 2010 will be a difficult environment for Democratic candidates.

Got it.

3 This just proves Republicans need to move toward the center.

7 I do wonder how anyone who is remotely a "centrist" can still stay in the Dem party?

How much of the economy does Obama have to nationalize before a "centrist Democrat" can't support him? Presuming that means anything other then a bit slower then the extreme leftwing wants.

Actually, thinking about it, the reviled Bush was pretty close to the center politically. Perhaps people are waking up to the fact that they shouldn't have been drinking all that leftwing koolaide?

In just over two weeks, we'll be inaugurating a full slate of Republican state leaders here in the commonwealth of Virginia, a state that Obama carried which resulted in me cracking a bone in my wrist.

If McDonnell is half as effective as people expect, then the Republicans should use his success to rebrand the party.

11 Wow, the obstructionism of the obstructionist Republican Party, which is obstructing the Democrats from giving the American people "What They Want"™ is certainly taking it's toll on Republican chances in 2010.

15 Democrat internal polling results are a sexy female computer vice saying, "Self Destruct Sequence initiated. Detonation in 10, 9, 8,....."

16 What's this? Kansas et al. are back to reelecting racist, war-mongering, Gaia-hating Nazis again? What a crazy, mixed up world we're now in. The change is giving me whiplash. Or "change" isn't exactly what everyone really wanted in the first place. Either/or.

To carry this frightful news further, think of the sentiment/perceived direction of the country once it realizes that a) statist incumbents might be at risk, and b) Democrats are definitely at risk, and we'll see America finally begin its protracted escape from the abyss.

19 Charlie Cook recently opined that no incumbent Republican Senator or Congressperson would lose re-election. Perhaps he meant "no Republican Senator or Congressperson will even face a challenger for re-election."

If that happens, and the Republican party is smart about where it spends its money, we could see some pretty dramatic results...

Make that a long, deep breath. It could be at cartier watches least five months to nearly a year before a Verizon version of the iPhone is available. The original Journal cartier watches article reported that production of a CDMA version of the iPhone would not cartier watch begin until cartier watch September. This could mean devices on store shelves in September, or it could take longer before they're available for retail. Also, remember that Verizon is not the only CDMA carrier in the world. A follow-up Journal story published Tuesday cartier watches quoted analysts cartier watches who said the new phone might first be distributed internationally. Maynard Um and Arun Sharma, analysts at UBS, believe a CDMA version of the phone could be launched by China Telecom cartier watches and KDDI later this year. But they don't believe a Verizon version of the iPhone cartier will come cartier to market in 2010. We wouldn't cartier watches count on a Verizon iPhone for the holidays, Bill Shope, an analyst at Credit Suisse wrote in a research note cited by the Journal.
