Unavoidable Afternoon Break
— Ace

Yes, I know I've been light in my blogging lately. I've been trying to think of interesting stuff to write, but I've been coming up with doodly-squat. Well, actually, I'm working on a couple of okay things, but no really good comedy stuff.

Today I have a genuinely good reason for taking a few hours off blogging. I can't share that reason with you right now, but I hope to soon. Not anything that's going to change your life, but hopefully something that will make mine a little better.

I'll be back as soon as possible. Hopefully by six.

Okay, I'm Back: I'm kind of a private person, but later on I'll let everyone in on the mystery, because 1) it could help someone else and 2) I need the traffic.

2 Ace, lets not fall into this trap. Who did this survey? Who did they survey? How would the results change is the question was changed to "do you support abortion"?

The left has taken Roe v Wade and has completely distorted what it means. This is the exact same thing they've done with affirmative action, the patriot act, separation of church and state, etc.

Roe v Wade was/is a blatant example of judicial activism where SCOTUS forced legistaltion that wouldn't have passed under normal circumstances down the throats of every state. Repealing Roe v Wade would NOT make abortion illegal. It would simply push the issue to the state level, which is where it should be.

The only thing that is needed is for you to put on your Spider Man underoos and start exposing the left's lies and distrortions on this issue.

3 Yo ACE! Not everything has to be funny. Anything truly hairaisingly frightening (like a Gore Administration) or anything at all like Tara Reid flashing a boob will suffice. Even informative will do! But of course, The Virgins prefer Islamic news, especially the Mullah's Manhattan Project, which of coursde is named for its final destination. All Praises to Allah!

6 While we're in "run down recent posts" mode, how come the "greatest hits" links haven't come back? (Not to mention Kim, your blogroll, etc.) I figure that could boost your mojo enough for another amusing post or two to pop out...

7 Where is Allahpundit, BTW? No posts in quite awhile...

Ace, on a different topic: Your quote from Mencken, about raising the black flag and slittling throats --- that's what Zarqawi is doing, literally -- time for a new quote?

8 Don't tell me FINALLY decided to get out of your parents basement and go and buy some new dice and tin charachters for D&D...

9 I'll put that stuff back in tonight or tomorrow. I know I've been slacking.

I just hate dealing with MT templates. It's more confusing than a woman's privates.
