3 Good Morning Morons.  Today is Friday, February 28, 2014.  On this day in 1933 – Gleichschaltung: The Reichstag Fire Decree was passed in Germany a day after the Reichstag fire.  This is the action that gave the Nazis total dictatorial control of Germany.  We seem to be doing it here by Executive order in bits and pieces so the LIV frogs don't know they are being boiled.

“To those who seek to better the world through the understanding of God’s physical laws and innovation of practical solutions. In honor of Dr. William ‘Ed’ and Glenda McCracken.”

This same University allowed another donor to put up a blasphemous plaque about Jesus.  This is the USA we live in now.  It is OK to mention God or Jesus as long as you do it in an insulting manner, but woe unto yea if you praise them.

9 In another outrageous action a federal idiot allows a CA HS to ban shirts with the American flag on it because it may "offend" Hispanic students celebrating Cinco De Mayo.  The excuse given is that the school has a history of strife between the gangs (guess who) and other students.  One doesn't have to be a rocket science to see why. The "Gangs" dictate school policy.  It seem that "zero tolerance" only applies to "white" American children.

What should happen is all students celebrating Cinco De Mayo should be expelled and those who are illegals deported.   Oh, the federal judge?  Remove him from the bench, apply boiling tar, feather, and a fast trip to another State; preferably not mine.

10 We saw a few days ago that the unions were going to flood the elections with cash targeting Republicans.  Now Planned Parenthood, who BTW gets large sums of money from the government, is going to do the same thing.  Since all money is fungible it is the equivalent of using taxpayer money as a campaign chest, which is illegal.  If the GOP had any balls they would call for an injunction and sue. (Because we know Holder would never prosecute.)

Morning, ‘rons and ‘ronettes.  Here’s another Katharine Hepburn story:

This happened during the filming of her first picture, 1932s A Bill of Divorcement (boy, there’s a title to conjure with, eh?).  The big name in the movie was the Great Profile himself, John Barrymore.

After the first morning’s shooting, he approached the 25-year old Hepburn and, in that marvelous, mellifluent Barrymore voice, asked “Miss Hepburn, would you like to come to my dressing room for lunch?”, to which Kate could only stammer, “Well, I, I, I. . .”

But she went to his dressing room and was met by Barrymore in a brocaded dressing gown.  He opened the door and ushered her in, but when she looked around she saw only a couch and nothing else.

“Well, I, I think, you know. . .there must be a mistake,” Hepburn stuttered.

Barrymore, all quite proper, smiled.  “Oh, yes, I made a mistake.”

He went to the door, opened it, bowed and ushered her out.  And that was their love affair.

Here she is, in Bill, with co-star David Manners:

Below zero the air is too cold to carry moisture, and the lakes are frozen over so no lake effect. If it does snow, it will be just enough to make the roads really [expletive], but ice this cold provides good traction, relatively speaking.

Best tactic, keep the sauna lit, and stay inside. It's the combustion of dollar bills in the central heating unit that's the major headache. Unless your car is parked outside, and you forgot to plug it in when you parked it.

82 Here's a nice story from my local rag:

http://tinyurl.com/lyeh9dy

Short version, the dame is a former city alderman, found to have used thousands of dollars of campaign money for jewelry, clothes, and other things.  Ethics commission found her to be in violation, she was fined and apologized.

Now,  the thing that makes this interesting is she was part of the Obama campaign in 2008, and even tried to have a street named "Barak Obama Blvd," so you really don't have to play "guess the party" here.

What I want to  know though is, don't they usually call this sort of thing stealing?  And isn't that against the law?  Like, if you took a candy bar out of a store, they would prosecute you for it?

No prosecution I can see here.  I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that St. Louis city is completely owned by one party, the same one to which this broad belongs.

Posted by: BurtTC at February 28, 2014 02:20 AM (BeSEI)

83 63  Worse. It wasn't a blasphemous plaque they put up. It was a blasphemous student play in which Jesus was portrayed as a gay man who had sex with his disciples. Purdue even defended the play in court.

All I know is, virtually anywhere else in  the world you will be prosecuted for stealing.  If your office says you can't take pencils and postit notes home, or you will be prosecuted, they'll prosecute you!  If you work at McDs, and they say don't  eat  food off the grill, or take a bag of fries, they'll have the police review the video recording with you.

But politicians can take thousands of dollars from their campaigns, spend it any way they like, until they get caught.  No  one else in the world could do that without being hauled off in handcuffs.

188 One other thing on that "integration issue".  The blacks had already had the ability to request to go to that HS and would be accepted cart-blache.  There were only somewhere between 5 and 10 who opted for that.  They preferred to keep their own school, which infra-structurewise was in better shape than our because it was much newer.

After another visit by the meddling DOJ the city was force to shut their school down and move them all.  That's when the trouble started.

Look at the situation now in most cities where they have schools in different parts of town.  It is just like what was happening there.  The blacks prefer to go to the schools in their neighborhood and the whites in theirs.

IOW segregation is back and the DOJ is strangely silent.

194 The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity, is proudly announcing that the U.S. military is again using their chaplains for active-duty service after a 15-year lull. ISNA has a well-documented extremist history. In 1991, the Muslim Brotherhood listed ISNA as one of its main fronts. Declassified FBI memos said ISNA is a component of the Muslim Brotherhood, who sees its “work in America as a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.” In 2007, the U.S. government labeled ISNA a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity and an unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorism-financing trial involving the Holy Land Foundation funneling money to Hamas. The label was upheld in 2009 because of “ample” evidence linking ISNA to Hamas. Last year, ISNA’s Canadian affiliate lost its status as a charity because of its accounting discrepancies and links to Pakistani terrorists. The two chaplains endorsed by ISNA are Sgt. Mustapha Rahouchen, who will be used by the U.S. Army, and Captain Rafael Lantiqua, who was chosen by the U.S. Air Force. In April 2013, the Clarion Project broke the story that the U.S. Air Force Chaplain Corps had paid ISNA almost $5,000 for two advertisements in its magazine. When we contacted the Air Force about ISNA’s ties to the Brotherhood, we received the following response: “The Islamic Society of North America is one of many religious organizations recognized by the Department of Defense that satisfy the ecclesiastical requirements to endorse qualified religious ministry professionals to serve as chaplains within the Military Departments.” This story speaks to the broader threat posed by Islamist involvement in Muslim chaplain programs. 211 72 years ago during the Battle of Sunda Strait (28 Feb-1 Mar 1942) the heavy cruiser USS Houston and the light cruiser HMAS Perth were sunk by the Japanese. Approx. 1750 men manned the two ships. About 700 survived the sinkings and became POWs. About 200 would die before the war ended. In addtion to the Houston and Perth being sunk on 1 March so was the USS Pope, Edsall, Pecos, HMS Exeter, Encounter, and HNMS Evertsen in the waters around Java. Before the end of the day the U.S. Asiatic Fleet/ABDA Float ceased to exist. The few surviving ships were ordered to Australia (USS Pillsbury, Asheville, HMAS Yarra, HMS Stronghold were sunk enroute) and would become part of the new US 7th Fleet (MacArthur's future navy). During the first 3 months of the war the men fought against overwhelming odds in old, undergunned, underarmoured ships without air cover. Many heroic actions, some known, most unknown were performed by those sailors. There's no flowers on a sailors grave No lilies on an ocean wave The only tribute is the seagulls sweep And the tear drop on a loved ones cheek Anonymous

Your story is interesting and seems to be par for the course. Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams have some very interesting things to say about black society before segregation.

In my own experience, I not only watched people in my high school self segregate in the 80s but there were actual threats made to people (myself and my friend) just for hanging out together. And no, it wasn't the Klan making the threats.

269 Too early to get my outrage on. And it's Friday! so, here's a couple of theories for any morons who are watching- "True Detective" The King in Yellow is part of an apocalyptic cult hoping to bring about the rise of the "Black Star" or "Dark Star". As per the ranting of the tattooed meth cooker before he was shot in the head by Hart. RW Chambers is probably being referenced again. In this case, his novel "The Dark Star" which begins with this fake quote: "The dying star grew dark; the last light faded from it; went out. Prince Erlik laughed. "And suddenly the old order of things began to pass away more swiftly. "Between earth and outer space-between Creator and created, confusing and confounding their identities,-a rushing darkness grew-the hurrying wrack of immemorial storms heralding whirlwinds through which Truth alone survives. "Awaiting the inevitable reëstablishment of such temporary conventions as render the incident of human existence possible, the brooding Demon which men call Truth stares steadily at Tengri under the high stars which are passing too, and which at last shall pass away and leave the Demon watching all alone amid the ruins of eternity." It's all about losing your mind(humanity) to gain secret knowledge. The 1st victim is poised peering into the framed hole in a Tree. The kill?rape? room with all of the little fetishes Cohle found in the abandoned school has a see-through mirror looking into that room which is framed by a woodland painting. The later victim is poised above because she sees even farther. The King in Yellow himself will pretty much come out of left field. My best guess currently is the grounds keeper Cohle talked to at the abandoned school. If I remember correctly, he said(more or less) "I take care of five properties." There are five men involved in the child rape/molestation group, who may not be directly involved with the KiY.

I write three pages and attach to it,telling them that they MUST appoint a special investigator and or prosecutor for Benghazi & the IRS targeting conservative groups. I filled it out this morning & suggested that Boehner appoint same man that Bush appointed for Valerie Plame leak. That ass Colin Powell sat there silently & didn’t tell GWB that it was Armitage that leaked it & it was not Scooter Libby. Scooter’s life is ruined because he did not remember one small detail. I wrote on it when they start doing as I suggested, they can contact me & I will consider a donation. I also wrote that they must stop TFG from acing like he’s a king or petty dictator. This is a republic & our Founding Fathers would be disappointed, to say the least, at the abuse of executive power that they are allowing SCOAMF to get away with. I did same with last one I received.

273 In Alan Furst's great novel, "Night Soldiers," the curtain opens in Bulgaria, 1934, on the town square of a riverfront village on the Danube. A bunch of local students, decked out in their best versions of the Hitler youth brownshirts, are marching about, military-style. They did not need TV or social media to tell them how cool and hip it was to emulate the Nazis. An adolescent boy is watching, and makes a face. The thugs in uniform say something like, "watchoo lookin at," and a fight takes place. Or rather, a beating. The kid is killed by the thugs. History repeats itself, don't it? Today's version will be that high school out in Kalifor-nye-aye.
