This Embarrassing Clip of Elizabeth Warren Melting Down When Asked About Her Family Lore Is So Good It Hurts
— Ace

[Above-the post addendum - Andy: It looks like Fauxcahontas' admission referred to in Drew's earlier post came after Chief Patrick of the MassDem tribe shielded her from this cowboy reporter's well-aimed fire. I'd love to have heard the conversation that took place after the interview below. Watch the whole thing, but the really good stuff starts around the 1:30 mark.]

Deval Patrick steps in to shield her.

Can't stand on her own two feet? Gee, that's a great image to project. Good one, Deval.

Sometimes chivalry is counterproductive.

Unfortunately, I don't think Elizabeth Warren is going to be our opponent.

Oh, I know, people say they don't care. And yet, while not caring, they consume the news every day.

People say they don't care because they know they're supposed to be caring about impersonal issues.

Yeah, well. Scott Brown is not too shabby on the issues (as far as a Massachusetts voter). Sure, he's a hardcore conservative extremist (in Massachusetts), but they voted for him once and don't seem to mind him thusfar.

So you've got a wash on that, 50/50. And then you know this other woman can't seem to open her fool mouth without claiming some sort of genetic link to Sitting Bull.

You can't win a race if you're a laughingstock.

She cannot admit her lie; it would destroy her. And yet her lie is plain for all to see. It's as plain as the white on her face.

Thus, it continues, and thus, it will continue continuing. There is no way out here.

Thanks to Andy.

2 Nobody ever made it on their own... I see now when she said this, it was full of projection. She had to lie to make it, and thus because she is perfect, smart, intellectual, it only makes sense that if she had to lie to make it, nobody can possibly make it on their own.

"Speaking on behalf of the people of the Commonwealth. . ."

You're not speaking for ME, you cringing toady.  I DO care that Little White Dove is a proven, unrepentant liar.  I WANT Fox to "hammer" at this clown.  I want her beaten, ashamed, a punch line for the rest of her life until she hits the Happy Hunting Grounds.

Oh, BTW, Deval - you're a tiny stuttering clusterf*ck of a miserable failure.

She really meant to say "families getting scalped", as her great-great-great grandmother used to say all the time, but Fauxcahontas didn't want to try to leverage her Indian heritage to attract more votes so she used a rough translation for whitey.

31 Great bit of video for dissection. Search on 'elizabeth warrren high school yearbook' and one of the lead hits should be a Boston Globe piece where Warren revisits her OC,OK childhood home. It contains a bunch of photos that make it plain that this wasn't some ethnically disadvanataged kid growing up on the rez.

There is a big psychological reveal as well. Her father had a heart attack just as she was getting to high school age and terribly self-conscious about social status. Also, apparently her mother was an utter bitch who complained bitterly about their situation. I suspect I see the roots of her antipathy for those who create wealth.

37 Unfortunately, I don't think Elizabeth Warren is going to be our opponent.

Got two words for ya, Ace: Massa chusetts.

After 14 months here, I've come to realize that the majority of the voting public here will accept any line of bullshit from candidates, provided they are Democrats.

Turd Kennedy
John F'n Kerry
Bawney Fwank
Devil Patrick

In most states -- well, maybe not California -- pitiful laughingstocks like the above wouldn't make it past small-town municipal elections. Hell, in a lot of places, they wouldn't get anywhere on the micro-local level.

I have a feeling Lactating Lizzie has a lock on this, and will likely take Brown's seat.

You -- and such sterling truth-tellers as Poppin' Fresh, who has never met an act of treason he can't convert into an "Obamateurism" -- can giggle about the idiocy of leftwing turds 'til the cows come home, but they win elections.

Would that it were not so, but Teh Stoopit is strong in this country, even after four years of the Bark Obama regime.

Probably bad.  Since the DoJ won't defend its constitutionality, I'm not sure Weeping Boehner has the necessary guts to take it to the Supreme Court.  So the ruling might stand.

Even if it goes to the Supremes, I couldn't tell you which way it would go: I'd guess 5-4 upholding, with Kennedy erring on the side of "let the people do what they want."

As someone has already mentioned: Ted Kennedy.
These people had no problem with an entitled, drunken bastard leaving a woman he presumably screwed to slowly drown in a sinking car, while he hid out for 9 hours trying to figure out how to save his political career.

In Senator Kennedy's defense, he was busy seeking medical attention during those 9 hours.  You know how it is waiting in those long lines at the E.R. Those neck braces don't get put on by themselves...

It's why he was such a big proponent of the Affordable Care Act.  It is a known fact that once it is in place, wait times in the E.R. will go down significantly.  Mary Jo Kopechne would be here today if he hadn't had to fill out all that paperwork and wait in line to be treated in the E.R. after his tragic accident.

97 37 Unfortunately, I don't think Elizabeth Warren is going to be our opponent.
A couple of points:
1) The fact that Deval Patrick met with her opponent (deFranco), and still endorsed Warren, tells me that deFranco has serious baggage of her own.
2) The Dems will immediately draw the parallel between Patrick and Warren not wanting to talk about this "distraction" and Sununu's impatience with talking about Trump.  The difference, of course, is that Trump isn't running for office, so he's irrelevant.

Compare and contrast this with the vid of Allen West on the blaze dot com.  Some lefty jackass brings up the incident that ended West's military career, and instead of dodging the question, West answers it full on and defends what he did (firing a gun over a terrorist's head to scare him into confessing future plans), and he says he would do it all over again.  He not only answers the question, he fights back and asks "If you are going to bring something up that happened 9 years ago, are you going to ask Obama about the time he did blow?"  Total smack down.  The contrast between him manning up and squarely confronting a question he didn't like and Liz Warren's mealy mouthed talking poings as she hides behind Deval Patrick's skirts is really huge.

I am glad that the Fox reporter who asked that question was a woman.  Smart move on the news station's part.  If it was a man, then we'd be talking about the right wing's war on womyn again.

Well, they have to. Everything they believe is contrary to our physical reality and human nature. Capitalism is bad. Collectivism works. Having a family and kids is bad. AGW must be real. Racism is the only evil. Patriotism is bad.

All of these require a significant amount of self-deception, so, lying? They have to.

"Do you believe in maintaining affirmative action?"

"Do you think that taking ethnicity into account promotes 'social justice'?"

"So then fraudulent claims of such ethnicity would promote 'social injustice,' wouldn't they?"

"Did you or did you not claim American Indian ethnicity?"

or

"Did you benefit from claiming Indian ethnicity?"

[If she says "no," ask her why it didn't (or how she knows that), since she was claiming an ethnicity subject to affirmative action directives.]

[If she says "yes" (or "perhaps"), then charge her with defrauding legitimately Indian candidates from their birthright.]

"The fact that she thought she could enter national politics, and, in the era of alternative media, simply slip this one by everyone, is indicative of a much deeper character issue than a simple liar."

I don't think so.  I think she really has no idea there IS an alternative media and that cons are using it to, in the colorful phrase, "pound them until their assholes bleed" about things they've done and said in the past.  Your average MFM whore still thinks blogs and their readers are basement-dwelling freaks in their pajamas.  They're still convinced - and with the dog-eating retard in chief, you can see why - that the ABCCNNCBSPMSNBC complex will cover for them.  Hell, the only reason this story is getting play is because of two reasons:

1. It's all over the web.

2. The Boston Herald - enemy of the bow-tied bumkissers at the Globe - has been hammering at this for weeks and finally dragged the Globe kicking and screaming into covering the controversy.  And even now, they're still trying to shovel dirt over it as fast as they can.

I have to go O/T for a moment because I made the mistake of reading the comments in the news article about the Seattle shootings (mental guy shoots and kills 5 people, 4 at a cafe that he was repeatedly tossed out of, the 5th he carjacked) anyway, I do not understand DO NOT UNDERSTAND why it is so difficult for anti-gun folks to get the concept that a lot of shootings aren't by people who follow the law, like law abiding gun owners, but instead by criminals--who will break the law and obtain guns regardless of any "anti-gun" laws. Has banning guns eliminated shootings in Chicago? In NYC? No. Gosh, I am so damn mad at the stupidity smoke is coming out of my ears.

The news media (and the Seattle police) are totally amping up the "there's too many guns out there" angle for the spate of shootings we've had. And they are doing it on purpose because 2 months ago a bunch of law abiding gun owners managed to prevent or stop break-ins by using their guns so they have to get the image of people successfully using their guns to stop evil out of people's minds.

Sorry for the long O/T rant, but I am really, really mad.

350 "Hillary got away with it because she had the power of being an ex-1st-lady." She had the donors list from her hubbie's campaigns. Obama wanted them very badly.

356 God they are so full of shit its unreal. Today she actually admitted that she DID in fact indicate to both Penn and Harvard that she was a minority / native American. I still think she'll be the nominee. The whole Governor endorsement was meant to help prevent her challenger from getting enough votes to trigger a primary. Its debatable if her challenger can get 15% at the convention and trigger a primary. If she's having trouble getting 15% of the vote, I find it exceptionally unlikely that she will get enough votes to actually beat Fauxcohontas - especially with the entirety of the Democratic Party (and the liberal machine like Hollywood, etc) behind her. The one thing this is, is delicious.

358 To date, Warren has done no interviews with the American Indian press. There are dozens of tribal papers and national Native news outlets, including well-respected Cherokee outlets, that she could have reached out to in order to help calm the controversy and alleviate Native concerns about both her background and its impact on Indian citizens.

359 Was that a black man, covering for a white woman, who is claiming to be a red woman, because SHE IS a DEMOCRAT?
I thought so.
If Warren has no tribal affiliation with the Cherokee Nation then she is not a Cherokee.
If Warren has no Native American DNA in her then she is not Native American.
If Warren continues to claim such then she is a liar at worst or suffering from a very strong hallucination.
Either way she is not fit to be elected by anyone.
Liar or mentally ill you make the choice.

360 Obama is a stuttering clusterf*ck of a miserable failure.

361 She turns so red with embarrassment she could almost pass for...well you know. She looks like such a freaking loser, I find it hard to believe she survives this.

362 Having watched the first half of the clip I have to say that I'm not surprised that Deval Patrick can win elections. Leaving aside what his chivalry says about Warren, his handling of the question was fairly masterful. Its still avoidance, but it is slick and confident and, to a certain, immedeate, degree... effective. Of course I defy even Julia Childs to make a shit sandwich I'd want to eat, which is why he is ultimately doomed to failure. That does make me wonder what grip Warren must have on his balls to wring this endorsement from him... at this point in the cycle. She is obviously NOT a strong candidate in a real sense (crappy campaigner, etc), and has been bleeding white on this 'little' question. As I understand it she's currently facing a democrat, so if she loses The Party has lost nothing but an obviously crappy candidate.

363 Is DPat just saying "The TRUTH!. YOU CAN'T HANDLE the truth!!"?

More DPat -
"And that's why we, the people of Massachusetts, whom I deign to speak for because I'm the governor and, well, I'm here in front of this microphone and everything, don't really care at all as to whether our elected representatives can tell the truth, or admit candidly to an error. Because the business of government has nothing at all to do with telling the truth (duh!!) and everything to do with you reporters just stopping all this independent thinking journalism crap and just following our talking points the way we send 'em to you".

Wow, thanks for clarifying that for me Governor Patrick.
