The Morning Report 12/30/16
— Open Blogger

"What Might Have Been. Thank G-d It Won't . . . And Never Will!"

Good morning, kids. The penultimate day of 2016 is kind of slow. Sheesh, that photo of Nurse Nasty alone at the table speaks volumes, doesn't it? Interesting analysis as always from the great Caroline Glick of what Israel's future moves might be now that Obama has legitimized the destruction of the State of Israel and declared open season on Jews. Other than that, what kind of a sick bastard cops a feel from a bedridden 103-year-old woman? A Democrat, of course. But if you can stomach the lengthy article, you'll discover that that word is oddly missing. Anyway, just want to wish you all a safe and happy new year. Have a better one and remain blessed.

37 Crooked, Poor Man's Aunt Esther Refuses to Work With Trump, Or Something Here's the beauty of Trump being president - eventually, Waters is going to want something from him. Perhaps even need something to keep her worthless, cellulite-spackled ass welded firmly to her congressional seat. And I hope Trump is big enough, generous enough and man enough to tell her to eat a bag of dicks and die. Insanity: California Legalizes Child Prostitution Democrats. And this surprises anyone why? Here's my rule of thumb - whenever a politician of any party proposes legislation that is either mind-bogglingly stupid, brazen or, as in this case, sexually deviant, it is because that particular politician or that particular party will benefit, either from raking in the sweet bux from some "green" scam or being able to boink a 12-year old without fear of prosecution. I absolutely guarantee you the sponsors of this bill are already face-deep in pre-teen pink, as it were.

Posted by: Mary Poppins' Practically Perfect Piercing at December 30, 2016 02:24 AM (X6fMO)

38 That California story is almost unbelievable. Why don't they just let the pimps write all their state laws -- oh wait, they already do. And I see they've repealed the law that prohibited increased welfare payments to women on welfare who have more babies. When I was in public high school in the '80s, there were black girls in some of my classes who used to talk openly about the fact that they were trying to get pregnant again, so that they could get bigger monthly welfare checks. They wanted more money back then because it apparently cost a lot to get their nails and cornrows done at the salon, and they wanted to have plenty of money left over for booze and weed. But no doubt that's not a problem in California, where they apparently have no welfare mooches and plenty of money to throw away.

79 Regarding the international community, the Security Council opened the door for its members to boycott Israel. As a result, Israel should show the UN and its factotums the door. Israel should work to de-internationalize the Palestinian conflict by expelling UN personnel from its territory. The same is the case with the EU. Once Britain exits the EU, Israel should end the EU's illegal operations in Judea and Samaria and declare EU personnel acting illegally persona non grata. Speaking of Brexit, how's that going? 111 The 'tick tock': Obama is given by the media, and takes full credit for tracking down and killing Bin Laden and is lauded by the world left as hero of the world. Clinton, not to be out done, needs a global coup of her own. McCain and Graham, knowing Clinton's true feelings for Obama, have hero ambitions of their own. McCain and Graham have decided to create a little puppetphate in the ME that will be a moderate Muslim faithful American ally for generations. They approach Clinton. Clinton likes, but expands the idea. She wants a new global realignment with the Islamic world. Arab Spring begins to take shape. She approaches Obama with the general plan. Obama's animosity toward Israel overcome his skepticism. McCain and Graham aren't enthusiastic of the scale, but come on board. The plan is set in motion and nearly immediately begins to go south as extremist allies turn out to be less than reliable. Libya turns into a disaster but they get the guns they need for the rebels in Syria (part of the master plan). Egypt looks like a success, but then it too goes south. Rebel allies in Syria, Jordan and Iraq are not so much allies as they are extremist thugs who take the weapons and the money and do their own thing - start a caliphate. Syria turns into a disaster. Egypt does a 180 and Obama is pissed. Russia senses what McCain, Graham and Clinton want to do and they decide they may have alternate plans. With Russia's involvement, the entire plan goes south. At least a million people throughout the ME are dead. Millions are displaced. Russia wins. Clinton, McCain, Graham lose and are PISSED the hell off at Russia. They convince Obama (who is never to blame for anything) that the Russians did it. He's pissed now too. Russia must pay. Podesta's email was hacked. Had to be the Russians. And here we are.

121 Pretty fascinating speech here on What Happened on Election Night from MSNBC's Steve Kornacki at the University of Mass. Lowell. Kornacki worked the results board that night on-air and there's some great inside-baseball stuff in this video for us political junkies. Yeah, he's with MSNBC but it's a pretty balanced, straightforward run-through with some cool backstage stuff. He talks about going to commercial and Steve Schmidt, who's an idiot and a loser but who does know his county-by-county stuff, grabbed him and pulled him over to the board asking for updates on certain key counties, and as Kornacki was hitting them the numbers fro Trump were going up and up. He says by the time they came back from commercial break, everything had changed in ten minutes and they all knew on set that Trump was going to win. He says you can see the dumbfounded look on his face and hear it in his words when they came back from break, but since no new states had been called yet he couldn't say anything. I went back and watched the coverage and he's talking about just before Wisconsin was called. Anyway, it's an hour long but a cool watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXiJUqaQ-Q4&t=2012s

First, let me give my sincerest apologies on behalf of the United States. America is great, but in the past, we have sometimes elected small and petty men who do not appreciate her greatness or our allies who have bravely withstood terror. This is not the America of today." "As a gesture of our sorrow for what has happened in the past, we are establishing a 1 billion dollar fund that, under the joint administration of the Israeli government and the State Department, will be used to compensate Israeli citizens and institutions that suffer from terrorist attacks. This money will be taken from the funding that the United States has generously given to the United Nations. As we can no longer trust this organization to promote peace and justice throughout the world, we will no longer support it in the manner that we have in the past." "Moreover, if this fund proves insufficient, we will continue to draw down our funding of the United Nations, to nothing, if necessary, to support this fund. And if this funding proves insufficient, then we will begin to likewise reduce foreign aid to those nations who have supported the recent action in the United Nations to. We refuse to reward those who seek to punish or even to destroy our allies." "Moreover, I have instructed the State Department to begin the process of moving the American Embassy to Jerusalem, the historic homeland of the Jewish people. This will be completed by the end of the calendar year of 2017. If it is not, then 50% of the funding of the State Department will be diverted to this task until it is completed. God bless America, God bless Israel and God bless our alliance."

But while the intention might be to mock the defeated Democratic candidate, the planned gathering has revealed a deep schism within the ranks of a movement known as the alt-right: pitting those embracing white nationalism or outright racism against those seeking a more credible platform for hard-right conservatives. In the movie, the Christian maiden Mercia is desired by a Roman commander, but she remains aloof to his charms. Hoping to arouse her suppressed lust and destroy her chastity, he has her forced to watch Joyner (as dancer "Ancaria") to perform the lesbian "Dance of the Naked Moon." This was cut when the film was revived in 1938, but the negative survived and has been restored to all DVD copies. I can't find a link to the dance, unfortunately; YouTube seems only to have the full version of the movie.

We went to see a Victorian style magic lantern show last night (Magic lanterns were, as MPPPP knows, the precursor to the movies.) The ioctures were lovely and one of the things they shows was from "The Goblins And The Sexton" (not exact title, I think) by Charles Dickens which he wrote before "A Christmas Carol". Beforehand we went to eat at a family style restaurant-sitting with about 10 people we didn't know and we passed food around. I'm like Bluebell (I can strike up a conversation with anyone who looks willing to talk to me) and the sisters who were there for a family gathering were very nice and interesting. Our son was with us, of course, and at some point FenSpouse said to the 20 something Korean girl next to us, "Would you like some more potatoes?" Our son hissed at him "Don't say that!" and the girl laughed. I said to him later, "Well, it's not as if you made a racial slur or anything." Tees-they can be embarrassed by anything their parents do-probably including breathing!

Whether it's direct, like through sue-and-settle cases pushing awards into the coffers of leftist activists, or indirect, like subsidies for billionaire lefties like Tom Steyer who then turn a portion back into disinformation, propaganda, bribes, and 'activism' to protect the Gravy Train, most of their funding originates with tax money. Unions, schools, social programs, government contracting and on and on are part of their Circle of Life. Cut that, they collapse.

223 My job right now mostly consists of supporting anti-trafficking and abolition groups through social media. They have worked very hard to get this law passed to prevent minors from having criminal records for engaging in acts they were coerced into. As minors they are now automatically victims of trafficking not "prostitutes" and paying to rape a child is still very much illegal. If the law is written correctly, which I realize is hardly a given (but it was written with input from survivors and anti-trafficking groups), it is based on a recent law in France and another in a Scandinavian country (can never remember if it's Norway or Sweden) that has led to a marked downturn in trafficking.

238 NEW YORK -- For more than two years, Lance Crowder was having severe abdominal pain and vomiting, and no local doctor could figure out why. Finally, an emergency room physician in Indianapolis had an idea.

"The first question he asked was if I was taking hot showers to find relief. When he asked me that question, I basically fell into tears because I knew he had an answer," Crowder said.

The answer was cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome, or CHS. It's caused by heavy, long-term use of various forms of marijuana. For unclear reasons, the nausea and vomiting are relieved by hot showers or baths.

311 Are the Russians our enemies? Duh! But don't forgot that the Chinese are also our enemies, and a lot more capable. And the Germans are still our enemies (look at the stupid shit we say) And the f*ing Arabs - every damn one of them is our enemies. Anybody remember the Iranians? Hello? So it's not a matter of punishing our enemies. The vast majority of the world hates us because we're more successful than they are, and they want our stuff. The question is how we navigate and play them off of each other to our benefit. And Putin is even more clever than I thought - I was thinking this morning that, if he was really smart and understood American politics, he would just scoff at Obama's actions and do nothing. And lo and behold, that is exactly what he did! A parting thought - an intelligent but evil man is far better to deal with than a self righteously stupid man. You know what the first will do; he will always seek his own self interest, but those interests are predictable and can be managed. What he won't do is unpredictably stupid things for no reason, that mess up the game for everyone. Hmm, who does that sound like?

Bloat was never a problem with any of them. Mrs. JTB has rather severe allergies to most dogs and all cats but the poodles never caused a problem. She mentioned that you want to do the grooming yourself. If so (and it's a smart move that will save money) start when the pup is young and get it used to the process. Even daily brushing helps get the idea across. We never used a fancy show cut; just kept them even all over.

319 Aaaw! Poor Hillary alone in the squalor of the Mohonk Mountain House:

http://www.mohonk.com/

 . . . .

by herself.

And by saying "by yourself" we mean: "attended by Mike Smith of the New York Times."

Reminds me of the time after the election that she "happened" to be photographed "out walking" in Chappaqua by a "local."   "Out walking"  on that occasion meant: "at a staged photo op"  and  "local" meant" "a Democrat party operative and professional publicist from Manhattan."

Everything the Clintons do and say is a lie - even their "candid" moments are lies and propaganda designed to fool the public.  It is similar to what Mary McCarthy said:  "Every word she [Lillian Hellman] writes is a lie, including `and' and `the.'" Except, with the Clintons, it's multiplied a million fold and pervades everything they do.   You need fricking scientific notation to understand and appreciate the level of lying we are talking about here.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have publicists and spinners just to discuss what they are going to have for breakfast in the morning in their own house and that a decision isn't made on it until they run it past David Brock - who is likely  kept in a suspended animation cryo-tube in the Clinton bedroom's closet and awakened, daily, specifically for this process.

Everything. Clinton. Is. A. Lie.

One the one hand - "ha! ha!" at the Democrats and the SCOAMT in particular for all their "Oh, no, the Russians are totes our homies. Yo." right up until they lost the election. On the other hand... while it is a fact of international relations that other countries will be attempting to access our secrets (and we'll be trying to access theirs), there must be consequences for getting caught. It is not contradictory to say that Hillary Clinton has no one but herself to blame for her emails being hacked AND that Russia (assuming you believe they're responsible for the hack - and I don't know one way or the other. Count me skeptical of anything Julian Assange asserts about his sources) has engaged in espionage against the United States with the purpose (regardless of success) of influencing the outcome of our election. I think kicking out diplomats (or "diplomats") is foolish, and I question the "sanctions" that McLame and Grahamnesty are pushing, but Russia does need at least the international equivalent of a noogie for that.
