Republican Congressman Jim Jordan to Planned Parenthood President Cecil Richards: If You're Claiming Those Videos Were "Heavily Edited" and "Misleading," Why Did You Apologize for the Statements Made on the Videos?
— Ace

The Fragrant Flowers of the SJW Coalition Women's Auxiliary are trying to make this a #WarOnWomen moment because men, get this, disagreed with a woman and said so.

Jim Jordan's point is simple, though Richards tries her hardest to miss it: She apologized for, and I quote, "the tone and the statements" in the first video released by CMP, where Dr. Nucatella talks about selling (or, um, "donating" for cash) fetal tissue in between bites of salad and swigs of wine.

Now Richards is claiming (based on a report paid for by, get this, Planned Parenthood) that the videos are all lies because they're "heavily edited" and "misleading."

So Jordan wants to know: Are you still apologizing for any statements in that first video, and if so, which ones? You don't apologize for inaccurate quotations; you apologize for accurate ones, so which did you have in mind?

But Richards' defense has obviously "evolved" as they've realized Holy Shit, the media really is going to completely cover-up for us and now she finds that initial (dishonest, manipulative) apology inconvenient.

And it's even more galling that the Strong, Independent Women Who Whine And Cry About Everything are claiming there's a #WarOnWomen because a man dared to dispute a woman.

In public!, if you can imagine such a thing. Where has gallantry gone?

But seriously, sometimes these idiots just need things to be explained to them in a confident, male voice that cuts through the sillybananas neurotic voices echoing in their heads.

5 This is part of the reason why I'm open to Carly Fiorina. Of course the double standard is completely contradictory that a woman doesn't get to be talked to the same way a man does, but that's how Hillary was elected as a Senator. I like the idea of someone being able to get in her face forcefully and not have this card played all the time.

These women are not "equal" at all. They are, by their actions, subhuman, worse than animals. Of course they whine. All liars whine when caught in their lies. And they lie because they serve the father of all lies. If they truly believed that what they do is moral and correct and absolutely necessary, they would not have to whine, or lie, or cover up their actions. But, because they know they are foul and disgusting and subhuman.... Well, by their fruits shall you know them, and these are rotten fruit indeed.

How often are women told their baby's bodies are going to be dissected for, uh, "science?" How often are babies born alive due to either misinformed dates or fudging ultrasound dates ala Gosnell? Why are PP not subject to the same Joint Commission rules as hospitals? In the event of an abortion going bad, with danger of bleeding/ infection/ death of the mother, are women treated in hospitals? Is that data up to date? What about psychological issues and follow up? Let me guess: "I do not have that data in front of me but would be happy to research later." Or, "I will have to refer to counsel." Or " I don't know."

It's how the liberals would do it, so obviously these Planned Parenthood videos are 'heavily edited' to misrepresent the truth as done on sixty minutes when the target is a republican. That is why it is believable by the left. It's doublethink. The liberals know they lie so they assume everyone else lies and anything that confronts their world view is immediately rejected because it has to be all lies. Their world view can't be wrong. Their carefully selected climate data isn't 'cherry picked' because their climate change conclusions are true, you see. Anyone not a liberal who cherry picks data to find what they need to refute the climate change argument is deceitful.

That's an awesome idea!  Tell you what, why don't we double the funding now, and in return Planned Parenthood will promise to phase out abortions over the next 10 years.

101 Cutting funding for Planned Parenthood violates the Constitution http://tiny.cc/dp223x Posted by: Cave Johnson at September 30, 2015 03:02 PM (2jQGY) a) what an absurd argument b) thats not the actual definition of bill of attainder. I bill of attainder is when congress (the legislature) declares an individual or a group guilty of a crime without a trial. Cutting off federal funding to a private organization is not declaring anyone guilty of anything. And that guys a constitutional law professor? 141 66 Richards also said that PP gets 86% of their revenue from abortions. . . . 86% . . Remember that they next time they claim it's about reproductive health. Posted by: Lizzy at September 30, 2015 03:01 PM (NOIQH) Even more so, I wonder how much that stacks up for clinics that perform "tissue donations." After all, the average national cost of an abortion is $490. PP's defenders declare that they only get $30-100 per sample. Well, when each fetus could be producing liver, heart, lungs, gonads, brain, spinal cord, and kidneys, that's quite a few samples. At an average of $65/sample, that ends up being an additional $455 per abortion. The clinics that perform "tissue donations" might be doubling the revenue generated from any given abortion. This is why it's so important that they actually prove that they aren't profiting from this, though it won't change the ghastly nature of it all.

I think far too many expect congressional hearings to be like some episode of Perry Mason and are just waiting for a gotcha moment which happens almost never. The very nature of the hearings is such that you get each Rep on either side of the aisle asking questions for amount 3 minutes and then a counter argument from the other sides. The witness just sits there and says things like the videos were altered or war on women or we are the only hope for poor women and that's that. Nobody is convinced one way or the other if they went in with an agenda. But no, Richards didn't come off looking great when she was trying to defend her $600k per year salary as a savior of poor women. Nor could she explain the $40 million on trips and parties. Nor even the $100 profit and the ongoing need for federal money. It was the first hearing and will see where it leads but the Federalist does what it always does, claims Republicans suck and fail at everything. He could have written the article before the hearing, he knew exactly what he was going to say anyway.

180 It's like they are pod people, these pro-abortionist murdering skanks. You cannot cut through to their soul because they have no soul...only their "rights." Never understanding the basic right of all humans, at conception, who have no choice but to be butchered due to misinformed propaganda in the 70's regarding "clumps of cells." My body, my life. Zipless ^ucks. Hear me roar. Burn my bra. Equal. Stay out of my vagina (granted, Whoopie, I am thinking that is not a hard task based on your dirty dreads). Where was I? This is the result of the vast bowel movement of the 70's. They have not evolved from this point, their souls are suctioned out with the products of conception. Their brains are turned to mush from drugs. They love a good protest. They love a good "movement" (which I equal to a good bowel movement). They love to feel picked on and waaaaa: a MAN interrupted me! A MAN had sex with me while i was drunk and texting about sex and I WUZ RAPED because my vagina my ho and he won't speak to me today (he said his Mama said why marry the cow when you can get the milk for free. Wut duz this mean?"). I am exhausted. Pod PP People have no souls. It is like discussing foreign policy with one of those barbarians in isis, with simian eyes and hairy thumbs. Unless, and it won't happen due to MSM, there are some people who "might" be aghast and change. Maybe. But with the people like Whoopie or that dumb buck-toothed SJL jackass, trumpeting their abortions like medals, possibly not. If...IF the blacks finally realize that there are, oh, 300K of their race aborted a year, more than murders, and it was the design of Sanger to do this, then maybe. But obamaphones rate more. According to the left, that's winning. Posted by: JackStraw ______________ It's just an answer that they know the media will never follow up with. If say Mitt Romney had claimed his "47%" video comment was edited or taken out of context, every expert would be brought in to show the public how it was not in fact edited or spliced. But with PP? No way, nothing to see here, move along.

When he lost that bet danson doubled down that Woodie couldn't stay the "king of his castle" for a year, Woodie required Ted to  date whoopie if he succeeded.  Ted wound up dating Whoopie.   So Danson's not very smart and Woodie has a mean streak a mile wide.

265 To be quite honest I had no damn idea this was going on--I thought this was illegal. ========== Unsure to which topic you're referring, but assuming the sale of body parts? If so, yes - sales are illegal. Donations and fees for handling aren't. If you've got an adult cornea, for example, you can donate it and a biz can pay for handling. 299 275 Harry P,    In the video, he flashes his ticket/boarding pass to the camera... and it showed him booked through to Melbourne.  That's why I'm guessing, there are surely airline regs that are specific for thru-ticketed passengers on a trip that is visa-dependent... that if the visa is revoked, the ticket becomes invalid and any segment thereof.   So, he was ticketed THRU Los Angeles TO Melborne on United.  I'm guessing that is why they stopped him from boarding in Denver.

If he was flying to LA on United, and then was taking some other Airline out of LA to MEL not connected with United, then United would not have stopped him, customs in LA or that segment airline would have.  That is my assessment of why it went down the way it did in Denver.  Willing to be proved ignorant.

302 All right, let's correctly assume funding for PP will never stop, because realistically it won't. If those bitchez keep selling parts of babies, make them give an accurate account of how much they get for that and deduct that from the funding amount. I would much rather not give them any money at all. As previously stated, any GP can and would do everything PP does (except abortions) and Obamacare has to pay for it. The gubmint shouldn't give PP a dime.

You guys are trying to win the battle but lose the war. I know this is heartless and I just don't give shit anymore (been firmly in the LIB camp since 2012 or before). We don't have one country anymore. We are headed from cold civil war to hot civil war and the future of our children (not our enemy's children) depends on us winning. If our enemy wants to abort all their offspring and their future...let them. Lets go balls to the wall and fund this bitch to the moon. Take all my tax money and use it to destroy our enemy from within just as they have done to America. You need to play the long game and help our enemy abort themselves...they will be done within a generation. Sorry but in my mind the simple calculus is less of 'our' children will die in the long run by letting them kill their own. These people are not on your side.

318 The majority of US citizens support funding Planned Parenthood, and Republicans just make themselves look like fools and misogynists when old white men badger women on TV. Women are now the majority of the US electorate, and attacking Planned Parenthood is a losing political issue with women even more than with men. Playing to the base is a great way to lose the general election, so I hope the R's keep the War On Women going full force until the election. "According to a Quinnipiac University poll released Monday, 52 percent support federal funding for Planned Parenthood, compared with 41 percent who support defunding the organization. A New York Times/CBS News poll, also released Monday, found 55 percent of Americans favor federal funding for Planned Parenthood, while 36 percent do not. A Pew Research Center poll released the same day found 60 percent support federal funding for Planned Parenthood, versus 32 percent who want to eliminate such funding."
