Dude, WTF, really??

Said Perry: "We have been brutalized and beaten up and chewed up in the press to where I need this today. We are being brutalized by our opponents, and our own party. So much of that is, I think they look at him, because of his faith. He is the only true conservative -- well, there are some true conservatives. And they're there for good reasons. And they may feel like God called them too. But I truly feel like we are here for that purpose."

22 Interestingly, if you are running for president because you think you can help the United States not turn into a socialist communist welfare state run by elitist dictators who would eventually obviate every freedom and you believe that man enjoys freedom in the social contract because he, as an individual, receives his rights from God and not the state then the step toward believing that God is encouraging you, who understands the nature of The United States, the great experiment, and the Constitution to run in the hopes of preserving it is not that big a leap.

While campaigning in Iowa on Wednesday, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul praised the Occupy Wall Street movement, comparing it to the Tea Party movement. “In many ways, I identify with both groups,” Paul said.  I know. I live in DC metro and have lived in NYC. I've never lived anywhere else other than when I was in college or grad school except for a brief stint in NC as a small child. I went to elitist schools here and in England. I know the meme.

Here's the difference. I happen to be educated in the history of the United States and the philosophical unpinnings of our Constitution. The left has gone to a great deal of trouble to make sure that most of the population has been dumbed down so that they do NOT know that our liberty does not come from the state and that people are so ignorant as to believe that any discussion of God is somehow "redneck" or "weird".

That attitude reveals its owner to be an idiot but since there are so many out there they revel in their clique of stupidity.

It's disgusting and pitiful.

She must have really pissed off the writers for "Grey's Anatomy".  In a cartoonishly bad, cardboard TV Doctor show where you can't figure out what the actors are saying because some folky rocker is always strumming and crooning in the background, she got the full Drake Remora treatment.

Even the straight actor who made fun of the gay actor didn't have to choke down the scripts like Heigl.  Even the little butterball bossy black actress that underwent painful plastic surgery to achieve a permanent scowl got off easier than Heigl.  And now poor Heigl is stuck forever playing the female version of Chandler Bing.

And yes, it was QTWTW, my friends.

Mitt Romney has now jumped to his biggest lead ever over President Obama in a hypothetical Election 2012 matchup. It’s also the biggest lead a named Republican candidate has held over the incumbent in Rasmussen Reports surveying to date.

The latest national telephone survey finds that 45% of Likely U.S. Voters favor the former Massachusetts governor, while 39% prefer the president. Ten percent (10%) like some other candidate in the race, and six percent (6%) are undecided.

71 @68

That is why I come to ACE's site.  I think Romney is great and glad he is doing so well.  It is kinda like he is the only guy who showed up for the job interview wearing a suit.  The rest are mostly just doing a glorified book tour.  Anyway here is where you can hear the other side - and have some fun.  I do not believe in just listening to the cheerleading section.

Coming here gives me a chance to see what the cheerleaders on the other team are saying.  Lately it has become -  The Excuse of the Week blog - for all the not Romneys.  This weeks eposode of the not Romney's features VA - oh my!
Perry - Can't talk, can't organize - so now he is throwing a legal tantrum.
Newt - Can talk, but too lazy to organize.  Maybe Pearl Harbor hit him while his campaign was in Greece on vacation.
Bachman - Must have been the tardisil shots - she forgot to register in VA
Santorum - So focused on how he lost his senate race as an incumbant, he forget that he needs to focus on how not to loose the GOP nomination.  Getting on in VA would have helped.

Some of the people who post here are idiots but others quite clever and I get some great, witty Romney slams... And lots of low IQ, not funny, dead horse stuff as well.
