Obama: I Gave the American People a Great Economy. If They Chose to Elect a "Cartoon" For President, Then To Hell With Them
— Open Blogger

Yes, the economy was really booming, Captain Bullshit.

Obama spoke with his chief speechwriter, Cody Keenan, and Rhodes by telephone on election night to figure out what he should say, prompting Rhodes to ask if he should offer his reassurances to allies. "No, I don’t think that I’m the one to tell them that," Obama said.

A day after the election, Obama sent a message to Rhodes to cheer him, saying "There are more stars in the sky than grains of sand on the earth."

But days later, Mr. Obama seemed less sanguine. "I don't know," he told aides. "Maybe this is what people want. I've got the economy set up well for him. No facts. No consequences. They can just have a cartoon."

He added that "we're about to find out just how resilient our institutions are, at home and around the world."

This guy.

5 Hoo boy. For the first time in my life, I just encountered a PC crisis in a work situation. I wrote something purely factual, and an utterly ignorant new 22-year-old hire became "offended" by my statement of historical fact because it was "racist against the Latinx community." Then my boss said I had to change what I wrote to kowtow to this childish bullying ignoramus. What was the offensive thing I wrote? That the Mexican style of bread loaf called a "telera" was borrowed from the French. This 22-year-old cretin said it was "racist" to say that an "indigenous food" was "borrowed" from the White Man. Except -- it's fuckin' true, and this asshole is simply too ignorant or her own history to even know it. The French occupied the city of Puebla in the 1860s, and built bread ovens, and the locals started using the ovens and copying the French "batard" loaves, making slightly smaller versions called "telera." This is extremely well documented -- "telera" did not exist in Mexico until the French occupation. Racist? Bitch, you're racist against your own culture by being so ignorant of your own history. Anyway, my boss basically just told me, "I don't know anything about this issue, but we have to be careful not to offend our Latinx team members with racist terminology." I told her that if she changed one word of my writing, I was out the door, and would resign that instant; and furthermore, she should not let bone-ignorant toddlers have veto power over the entire company, and if you let the race-bullies win once, you might as well sign over the whole company to them right now and quit yourself.

Only at that point will the function collapse and you will become either straight or gay. Until then, you remain Schrodinger Queer. Check and mate.

106 SNORT. Now when Barky says he "had the economy primed to take off" he is somewhat correct. By holding the economy down with high taxes and insane rules like limiting dust for farming, and "we are going to sock dairy farmers with climate change fees for the cow methane" there was a lot of room for growth when Trump came in and removed some of the crushing regulatory burdens and the GOPe did the one good thing and lowered the tax rates.

132 economy set up well?

zero interest rates was not "set up well", and neither was the $4+T in Quatitative Easing (which even Bernanke lied about at first).
And half trillion dollar a year in trade deficits means foreigners (including enemies) have that much cash to buy up America (land, influence, and buying our government).

But yeah, Obamacare, so my insurance went down ... I mean it went up triple over the eight years.  But you solved the Iran and Nork nuke problem ... by saying sure, you can have nukes.

There is really no end to the rants against Captain BullShit.  Further corroding the IRS and our IC, bringing children from the third world, children that were often human trafficked, or MS-13, or criminals that are flooding our prisons, then released to kill Americans.

and that is only part of what we know ... Skolkovo and uranium to Russia, our intel and data on all federal employees stolen by (given to?) China, race relations driven to riot levels (intentionally, coordinated from the WH) ... sheesh ... America is still Obama's enemy.

Then my boss said I had to change what I wrote to kowtow to this childish bullying ignoramus. I saw that pic again a couple of months ago, Barky stepping off of Air Force 1 helicopter.

That Marine had more class and patriotism in his left toe than Barky could ever imagine.

282 Under my plan energy prices will necessarily skyrocket. Gas did hit $4.00/gal. Meanwhile grocery prices doubled down here in about three years. They were going up so fast I kept a few receipts to track the increases during that time.. I'd look at the difference in prices from a year ago, listen to Progda say that "inflation is running under 1%" and go, "You have got to fucking be kidding me with that crap. I see that none of those people buy their own groceries themselves." When Juan McLame's tumor failed to make Obama's video about making energy prices skyrocket (which just happens to lower everyone's standard of living) into an ad, I started having some real doubts about him. Still think he would've been better than the SCOAMF, but given his record, not by much.

I remember thinking how awful it would be. I remember coming around to considering Trump seriously, just like Ace and others. I thought he was the only GOP candidate who had a chance to win. And for my part, I WANTED a bull in a china shop, desperately, passionately. This is not an era in which a Romney-style technocrat is needed; we needed someone who would smash and destroy the progress the left had made in subjugating our country.

Given that individuals are being fired from jobs due to allegations of racism in our current cultural climate, it seems plausible that an allegation of racism carries with it more than just "I hate that guy, he's a racist asshole" responses, ut in fact entailed you being called in for a disciplinary meeting. In theory, your supervisor could perhaps have even terminated your employment over something that was not in actuality racist. 402 It was a crises brought on by the Government itself... and the bail out money? was used as a slush fund for the Banking industry to consolidate into Larger banks... You know... banks that owned more stock in the Fed Reserve. Not a single damn 'Toxic Asset' was ever bought... not one. It was a pure and simple bait and switch, brought to you by Timmy Geithner, the Fed Chairman, and the Big banks. Posted by: Don Q at June 01, 2018 07:32 PM (NgKpN) Yep. I knew as soon as he hired Geithner we were screwed. Then Paulson in the hen house. Congress had been warned it was coming and they dismissed the warning. I remember because I could see it coming and I was like chicken little yelling the sky was falling. And it did. I was reading more foreign sites at the time since our talking heads were getting nothing right. The foreign press did a much better job. In fact, there were some former White House staff saying if you were only reading American news you weren't getting the real story about what was going on. Anyway, I'm in danger of going into tons of details. Let's just say, after the crisis was over, Barry did nothing to ensure it doesn't happen again. He announced the loans were paid back...but not that after they came in through the front door they went right back to the companies out the back door, with some kind of chicanery. We got screwed. Period. Still could happen again.

438 Remember the reports that Obama manages by check marks? >>That he needed everything distilled into bullet points followed by a series of options proposed by his staff, with check boxes? I once consulted for a CEO who wanted the technical competitive landscape in a field boiled down to check, plus, minus. That's kind of like boiling down the progress of Western civilization into check, plus, minus. He was sufficiently simple that he viewed all quantities as scalars that could be compared directly. I was just glad he didn't ask me to rate who is the best athlete, check, plus, minus. Lessee, we've got marathon runners who can run 26 miles, but barely have enough strength to lift their dicks, and we've got power lifters, who can lift small vehicles, but can't run 100 yards before nightfall. Hmmmm.

445 A day after the election, Obama sent a message to Rhodes to cheer him, saying "There are more stars in the sky than grains of sand on the earth."

--

How has he determined that?  Sure, space is vast and limitless, but there's a lot of room between those stars.  And you probably step on a million grains of sand just walking to the water's edge and back to the shower, and those are just the ones on the absolute surface.  There are more in the water.  There are LOTS more directly underneath you.

Heck, we haven't even discussed deserts or the next beach five miles away.

I think Obama once again had no idea what he was reading.
