Not a Joke: Shockingly, Buzzfeed "Men" Test Low In Testosterone Levels
— Ace

Apparently low IQ levels as well.

Skip to 1:20 to see the start of the segment about testing for testosterone.

The segment failed to note that three of the four guys were low-t and the fourth, while in normal range, was on the low side of normal.

33 Ace and I in sync, as usual... Buzzfeed Crew Shocked To Learn They Have Low Testosterone Levels The normal T-score for an adult male ranges from 270-1,070 ng/dL, with men aged from 25-34 averaging out at 617 ng/dL. Not one BuzzFeed beta male met the 617 ng/dL average; rather, all the men testing below the level of a typical 85-year-old male (376 ng/dL). Moreover, three of the four men tested below the average range, and the male with the highest testosterone level, Eugene, still had a relatively low T-score with 363 ng/dL. At what point did any of these guys actually need to pee in a cup for us to know that they're low on T? repost, and haha, The Daily Wire calls the buzzfeed guys soyboys. and they have all the details of the testosterone levels. Daily Caller has each guys score. It is so embarrassing.

55 This comes as no surprise, of course. Effeminate men are more prone to be the BuzzFeed, pro-socialism type. As noted by The Daily Wire in May, a recent academic study linked weak physique in men to socialist ideology: An academic study from researchers at Brunel University London assessed 171 men, looking at their height, weight, overall physical strength and bicep circumference, along with their views on redistribution of wealth and income inequality. The study, published in the Evolution and Human Behavior journal, found that weaker men were more likely to favor socialist policies than stronger men.

95 I got to the threads late, and regarding the argument about the attractiveness of Ms. Huckabee Sanders in the past thread...

I would like to offer up a pair of quotes I am fond of about the standards by which we judge others in this life.  o.O Please read and reflect.

There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal. Nations, cultures, arts, civilizations - these are mortal, and their life is to ours as the life of a gnat. But it is immortals whom we joke with, work with, marry, snub and exploit - immortal horrors or everlasting splendors. This does not mean that we are to be perpetually solemn. We must play. But our merriment must be of that kind (and it is, in fact, the merriest kind) which exists between people who have, from the outset, taken each other seriously - no flippancy, no superiority, no presumption.

It is a serious thing to live in a society of possible gods and goddesses, to remember that the dullest most uninteresting person you can talk to may one day be a creature which, if you saw it now, you would be strongly tempted to worship, or else a horror and a corruption such as you now meet, if at all, only in a nightmare. All day long we are, in some degree helping each other to one or the other of these destinations. It is in the light of these overwhelming possibilities, it is with the awe and the circumspection proper to them, that we should conduct all of our dealings with one another, all friendships, all loves, all play, all politics. There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal. Nations, cultures, arts, civilizations - these are mortal, and their life is to ours as the life of a gnat. But it is immortals whom we joke with, work with, marry, snub, and exploit - immortal horrors or everlasting splendors.

Last Dec, my doc reviewed my long list of vitamins I take and did blood work.  My vit D was nonexistent.  Told me to take it morning and night, also double up on the calcium.  About a month later, I noticed that my slightly arthritic knees no longer hurt even a little bit.  Including the one with no meniscus.  So, yeah, it's worth checking.  Hip was bothering me before I left LA and after I got here (not, interestingly, on the road).  Doubled up on the D for a couple of weeks and, presto, no more problem.

So, I know a number of hardcore feminists.

Sometimes they want really attractive beta males.

But at other times of the month, they really want high t alphas.

A while back, I read that what women want in a man varies with her cycle, and that being on the pill really messes that up.

So really, the rise of beta males might be related to the use of the pill.

202 The judge in the Bowe Bergdahl trial has rejected the defense's argument that candidate Trump's public comments about Bergdahl made a fair trial impossible. The judge said he wasn't affected by Trump's comments, but he fears that the remarks may have affected the public's perception of the trial. The judge says he will therefore consider Trump's comments to be a mitigating factor when he sentences Bergdahl. That last bit doesn't make much sense. Most of the public agreed with Trump; he was just voicing the same sentiments that many of us were already expressing. Why that should be a used as a mitigating factor for Bergdahl is not clear to me. But maybe the judge felt he needed to throw the defense a bone. Regardless, the POS Bergdahl should still get a life sentence.

No kidding.  Fat is life.  Trying to put back on the 5 pounds I inadvertently lost in the stress of the relocation and it's tougher because they've gone "low-fat," "no-fat" on so much.  My sister, who struggles with her weight in the opposite direction, probably hasn't put a fat molecule in her mouth in decades.  I keep my piehole shut but I do believe that is a large part of the problem.

293 Wow, that item linked regarding the Niger ambush - if it's assertions are correct - is about 50 megatons. The quotes provided - from DOD and WH officials - if true, are pretty amazing. Summary: Johnson (the KIA whose widow's condolence call from Trump was the subject of the recent kerfuffle) is suspected/accused of having gone rogue and possibly been involved in the ambush in some way. One troubling - because credible, sadly - element: Johnson may have gone rogue because, like so many Americans, he lived in a delusional make-believe world in which "white supremacists" are of any consequence, and, of course, Trump is "racist". That delusion seems to afflict tens of millions, including even GOP public figures. Maybe it's all b.s. Maybe the quotes are b.s. Can't imagine that the DOD investigation, if it turns out to reflect the article's basic assertions, will remain confidential, so we should find out eventually.

346 Which was a phenomenally stupid comment. The judge is trying to avoid any reversible errors and rather than offer no comment, Trump could not resist saying something. Judge says will not influence decision, but will be mitigating factor due to UCI. Posted by: Banana Splits Guy - Nostrildamus at October 30, 2017 03:29 PM (BqAhr) _______________ I know what the judge is doing, I just don't like it. And yes, Trump (once he was president and CinC) should have kept his mouth shut about Bergdahl, but these modern presidents apparently can't comprehend why it's inappropriate for them to be commenting on ongoing legal cases. Obama, who had been a lawyer, was just as bad as Trump. ("I don't know the facts of the Skip Gates case, but it is obvious that the police acted stupidly.") He could never resist offering some dumb-ass comment, even though he certainly should have known better.

Pretty much all of those fans have a reverse switch on them. In the winter if you reverse them they circulate air up and it comes down along the walls so the heat gets circulated back down and will keep the heat in the room more uniform. Doesn't blow your shit around. Helps with the heating bill. Maybe you already know this, but thought I'd mention it.

I could try and line up the sights but could not make out a target at any range from my right eye. So I guess that makes me ambi. I can't do any other thing left handed. I learned to shoot lefty from the beginning.

I practice at coordination things righthanded, like tossing and catching a ball with one hand, and juggle with two balls using the right hand. I putted left handed for a while and was just as good as righthanded. It's fun to work on skills with both hands.

If the Army judge can use CinC Trump's critical comments about Bergdahl as a mitigating factor, could he also use former CinC Obama's laudatory (and untrue) comments (and Rose Garden ceremony with Bergdahl's parents) as an aggravating factor? I'm not a JAG, but I doubt it. Still, if the judge wanted to, perhaps he could note Obama's and Trump's contradictory public comments in his opinion, and say that they basically cancelled each other out.
