New Ad Hits Obama on Broken Campaign Promise on Israel's Capital
— Ace

It's from a group called the Republican Jewish Coalition, which notes that during the campaign, Obama stated that Jerusalem was the capital of Israel, but then "evolved" in office.

In their channel they also have a series of ads featuring former Obama supporters who have decided to vote against him this time. They're not especially remarkable in the points they make, but the tactic feels sound to me: Get the preference cascade going by letting people know it's okay to say "I was wrong."

Hell Obama didn't win it by 8% against--McCain. So--not only do you have to believe that 19% of Republicans are going to turn out for Obama--but you also have to believe that Obama will also perform better than he did against McCain by 3% points. 2008 actual results were: Obama 52% +5 McCain 47% There' s no way they are getting "historic" turn out for Obama again after his awful performance.

I think the Bradley Effect is actually in play this year because of what has consistently happened since the Fall of 2008.  What happens when someone points out something uncomplimentary about Teh One?

That's right, we're all called racists.

So, with that dynamic consistently reinforced in the media in a way never seen even during Tom Bradley's mayoral run - with the pace quickening when it became clear Obama is incompetent - people just aren't telling pollsters the truth.  There's no reason to do so.

One of two things is going to happen in the Fall.  Obama is going to narrowly squeak across the finish line, or he will be utterly crushed by a margin so far beyond the fraud factor that the Dems won't even try to pull that card out.

Actually,  the Chick-Kil-A-Gay Ramadan Noodles Kid's Fun Sack meal comes with either rocks to throw at gays (boy's toy)  or gasoline and a lighter to burn gays (girl's toy).  But it's only sold in Palestinian territories so it's all fine and non-cultural and stuff.

62 people just aren't telling pollsters the truth. There's no reason to do so.

And real downside risk if they do.  I don't trust pollsters to keep answers confidential and detached from the address/phone number that generated them.  Given the Obama administrations proclivity for retaliating against private citizens, giving answers other than wildly pro-Obama ones is actually dangerous to your well being.

I could have been more clear.  By "that card" I meant the Dems sending armies of lawyers forth to reinforce their voter fraud by contesting every single chad.

You're right, no matter what anyone who votes against Obama does, they're a racist in the minds of the left.

As if voting for a guy because of the color of his skin is admirable and not racist, but voting against him because he's incompetent is racist.

Bizzarro World.

66 I can't imagine people lying about voting for Obama versus Romney, but then again: the IRS, the National Labor Board, Homeland Security, Media Matters, Holder, the Obama administration, and the rest of the thugs that are threatening, coercing, destroying, charging, and attacking anyone that talks down Obama - or merely states a moral or political stance, will certainly make some people cautious.

69 So I see SCOAMF is sending a new e-mail telling supporters, and masochists, that he's donated $5k to his own campaign. I got in touch with my inner cynic when I read that and decided he's trying to make potential donors feel sorry for him and thereby pony up some (more) cash, and head-fake the other side into believing he's having trouble raising money. I expect he'll stiff as many vendors at as many events as he can get away with, leave the DNC with as many bills as he can, and strong arm the unions into handing over dues in the form of donations by telling them he be able to be more flexible in his second term.

As the years wear on and I have more skin in the game, I can honestly take no more. I did not vote for Christie (Lonegan) but I had high hopes based on his early victories against the unions.
