Juan Williams: "Founding Fathers," "Constitution" Now On List of Forbidden Racial Dog Whistle List
— Ace

Whan, Whan, Hwhan.

You are so, so dumb. You're like a stupid hot chick, except you're not hot, and not a chick, except soft and womanly, but not in a good chick sort of way.

B cups? Sure, B-cups. But only B-cups.

The language of GOP racial politics is heavy on euphemisms that allow the speaker to deny any responsibility for the racial content of his message. The code words in this game are “entitlement society” — as used by Mitt Romney — and “poor work ethic” and “food stamp president” — as used by Newt Gingrich. References to a lack of respect for the “Founding Fathers” and the “Constitution” also make certain ears perk up by demonizing anyone supposedly threatening core “old-fashioned American values.”

By the way, Hwhachn Williams is very butthurt that Gingrich used him like a cheap hooker in South Carolina. He's still whining that Gingrich was talking about "jobs for poor people," which is a dog whistle implying, I guess:

1, poor people are black

2, black people need jobs

3, RACISM!

Or whatever.

In the days since the debate, people have asked if I regretted the way I phrased the question. I do not. I do not know anyone on food stamps who would prefer them to gainful employment.

That's because you're culturally a white liberal, Hwanachem. You know as many people in the ghetto as I do.

And yes, there is a culture there which accepts poverty and hand-outs as the natural order of things.

We can argue about whose fault that is but we can't argue that it exists, and that it should change, unless you want generations forming a permanent underclass of hoplelessness and dependency.

Is that what you want? Hwhymie?

God, I'm sick of hearing about race all the time, in every situation. Someone breaks wind, and some liberal starts bleating about race.

So Williams doesn't like talk about "jobs for poor people," and takes that as racist? Are we then to conclude that if we shut down such programs, he wouldn't be screaming about how THAT was racist too?

Sheesh.

26 Here's what I want to know:

More people are on government aid now than on the date that Obama took office. We can debate the reasons for that. It may even be unfair to blame Obama for this increase, or for the poor economy generally. However, all of us - left, right, and everyone else - can agree that the expansion of the rolls of people on public assistance is a legitimate campaign issue. It is not out-of-bounds to question the incumbent's role in causing and/or failing to fix this situation. So my question is this: How does one call attention to the fact that more people are on food stamps now than on January 20, 2009 in a non-racist way? "Food Stamp President" is racist? Okay, give me a non-racist way to say that it's Obama's fault that more people are on food stamps now than ever before. If you can't do that, then you're going to call any criticism of Obama "racist," and I can ignore you.

'Cause we alllllll know, Juan, that there are no white people on food stamps, or TANF, or home heating assistance, or any other of a hundred programs.  Nope, no white people at all.  None.  We all know that, don't we?

Since Juan Williams can't see that there are white people on entitlement programs, and he only focuses on the problems of black people, I guess that makes him a racist.

41 President Obama, first lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are all stumping for cash at fundraisers today – expected to raise at least $5.3 million combined for Democrats and the president for the 2012 campaign. Obama will mingle with 50 supporters at the St. Regis Hotel in Washington tonight, where tickets start at $35,800 per person, a campaign official told ABC News. Then he’ll attend a fundraising dinner at a private residence in Chevy Chase, Md., with 70 guests. Tickets are $35,800 per couple for the exclusive event as well. Meanwhile, both Michelle Obama and Biden have been outside Washington, delivering their re-election pitches on the road. The first lady will spend the evening fundraising at a private residence in Beverly Hills, Calif., with 135 supporters each contributing $5,000 or more to the Obama Victory Fund. (She is also taping an episode of “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” that will air tonight.) Biden traveled to Texas to collect checks, first stopping at the Historic Hilton in Fort Worth, where 200-plus guests paid $5,000 each to see him speak. He later hosted an event at the Billy Hall Bend Ranch in Dekalb with 20 supporters. Tickets there began at $35,800 per person. All money raised benefits the Obama Victory Fund, a joint account that funnels cash to both Obama for America and the Democratic National Committee. The events come the same day Obama reported to the Federal Election Commission raising $39.9 million in the 4th quarter of last year, with $81.7 million of cash on hand for the months ahead. It's all for the little people!

Beckel is an obvious Hack whereas you want to like and trust Juan because he occasionally has sensible things to say, but then he breaks your heart and ruins it all by saying something profoundly stupid like this.

Beckel could have a heart attack right on the air, administer CPR to himself, and then go right back to spouting insane liberal talking points and Obama cheerleading without missing a beat.  That's who he is.  Robohack.  Reminds of the SNL superfans skit with Chicago Bears fans sit around in a bar blurting out Bears' slogans, guzzling beer and pork products, having infarctions and reviving themselves.  Thah ... That's exactly true.  Rich Galen used to appear on Fox News every Saturday noon with Beckel to talk politics.  Then he stopped doing the gig.  I asked him once why that was.  He said, they told him they wanted him to be more confrontational - like Beckel.

I don't think Juan's a "lightweight affirmative action hire."  Also, I don't think he's Fox's go-to for race stuff which is something that was rumored about the left wing recently.  Race is what interests him, he wrote a book about it after all, so that's the question he asks.  His primary identification, though he would probably deny it, is "liberal" not "black," which is a problem if he wants to address race issues honestly.  For liberals, black people, like all other "groups" of people, are a convenient prop and it's actually better for liberal theology if black people stay poor or at least dissatisfied so they don't venture too far from mommy government.

The other point here is liberal projection.  The dog whistle shit?  Pure progressivism.  They do it, so they assume the Republicans/conservatives do it.  Meanwhile, conservatives are all like what?  Constitution?  That's racist?

Then I'm certainly a coward.  That's bullshit in a country where we are all supposed to be equal.  Maybe that's his tactic.  Make the majority feel like a minority.  Even though we as individuals hardly have any control of what the majority is.  If white people are responsible because white people are a majority, then wouldn't black people be responsible for being a minority?  Playing the race card for every slight leads to a downward moral spiral.  It's pathetic and I won't buy into it anymore.

And yes, Barak Obama = Eric Holder.  Two racist peas in the same pod.

But President Obama committed the flub on Monday while seated next to Georgia's president, Mikheil Saakashvili. Obama quickly corrected himself, avoiding what could have perhaps been a more serious diplomatic blunder. The president slipped while discussing Georgia's 20th anniversary of independence -- from Soviet Russia. "I think Georgia should be extraordinarily proud of the progress that is made in building a sovereign and democratic country. 162

Juan Williams recalls an early incident where racism touched his life:

"When Hopkins set down the tray of watercress finger sandwiches, it did not escape my attention that he had neglected to cut the crust off of one of them.  Only one.

A solitary, brown crust; isolated and alien adrift in a sea of white sandwiches.

'Will there be anything else, sir?' Hopkins asked, racistly.  But I knew what he meant.  Although I had the legal right to be on that sandwich tray, I would never belong.

'No, Hopkins,' I whispered.  'I think we understand each other.'"

194 Oh, and by the way, fuck Juan Williams and fuck Fox news for hiring the dumb bastard.  Fox News has turned into a f'in joke just like the rest of the "news" media.  If Fox constantly calls pro-lifers anti-abortionists etc. etc. then they are not giving those on the right the respect we deserve.  I see AP stories on FoxNews.com all the time and they are slanted left to the extreme just like everywhere else.  Fox has allowed the liberals to "define" us in liberal terms and we are boned!  Boned!  I tell ya.

If there's one thing I've learned from teh SCOAMF administration, it's that it's important to self-identify by race.  Race trumps almost everything else.

Oh, and I pray that Mittens will have the balls to go after teh SCOAMF with the same intensity he did going after Newt.  None of this "he's a fine fellow, just in over his head" crap.  Otherwise boned we are.

Juan Williams recalls an early incident where racism touched his life:

"When Hopkins set down the tray of watercress finger sandwiches, it did not escape my attention that he had neglected to cut the crust off of one of them. Only one.

A solitary, brown crust; isolated and alienadrift ina sea of white sandwiches.

'Will there be anything else, sir?' Hopkins asked, racistly. But I knew what he meant. Although I had the legal right to be on that sandwich tray, I would never belong.

'No, Hopkins,' I whispered. 'I think we understand each other.'"

201 James Taranto described well how stupid the "dog whistle" metaphor is.  If dog whistles are only audible to dogs, then analogously "dog whistle" racist code is only discernible by racists --and it's the libtards who are constantly perking their ears (to continue the metaphor) at these "racist" code phrases.

I shall never forget the indignity I suffered whilst attending a petit soiree at the Monte Carlo Casino as a guest of the Societe des bains de mer de Monaco.  As I passed the roulette table, I distinctly heard the croupier say "35 black."  Why 35, you ask?  For the simplest of reasons, good sir.  35 is at the back of the roulette table, as blacks were historically consigned to ride on that most plebian of urban conveyances, the omnibus.

Juan Williams is the kind of person who is very obviously uncomfortable in his own skin, and projects that everywhere he can to feel better about himself. He also seems like the kind of person who will project everything through the prism of race, yet personally disapproves of interracial marriage (along with other noted race experts like Spike Lee (who has said some downright nasty comments about the subject) and Common). Everything and anything becomes a perceived assault via race.

It is really, really pathetic.

211 > 198 According to the lastest FNS data, 22% of SNAP participants are African-American.

According to quickfacts dot usa dot gov, 12.6% of Americans are Black.

Because these 12.6% of Americans represent 22% of all SNAP participants, they are being disproportionately (RrrrAaaaCIiiiST!) persecuted.

Progressive logic.

216 I can say from firsthand interactions with some folks that there are definitely people out there who prefer food stamps, subsidized housing, a check for doing nothing (or being fat, fake-depressed, etc.) free medical care, and all the other nifty little handouts you find when you figure out how to really work the system, rather than have a job. At some point, it becomes a badge of honor to be the best at working the system.

225 If you hate someone then it is okay to twist their words into anything that you think might demonize them. Juan Williams hates us. Is it personal? No. It is political/religious. We supposedly stand in the way of paradise so ANYTHING to get past us is permitted and required. Paradise justifies all things including eventually using deadly force and terror to make miserable suffering people say that they are grateful to be allowed to live in paradise. Juan Williams is an empty puppet. Right now he holds a mic. If things move too far left his successor will appear holding a butcher knife and Juan Williams will PROBABLY use his mic to cheer the necessary murder of those atavistic surplus victims of false consciousness who block the way to paradise. IF he does not the knife will be used on him and his microphone handed to another puppet.

226 "...unless you want generations forming a permanent underclass of hoplelessness and dependency."

Actually that is PRECISELY what some on the left want.

They view an ever-growing underclass and the stratification of society into a system of mutually antagonistic castes and tribes as the precursors of a Marxist revolution, which is their ultimate goal.

They don't want a better world where even people of modest means are able to find gainful employment enjoy a happy life free from genuine want.  They desire a world where their evil religion achieves supremacy and all of us are forced to suffer under their boot heel.

This is also why they are so keen on doing away with our constitutional right to keep and bear arms.  An armed society is a free society.  A disarmed society is a slave state.
