That's the codeword.  It trumps reason, logic, experience and actual financial good practices.

If a private business exercised as poor a fiducial responsibility as the Federal government, they'd be under investigation for criminal fraud.

The wages of socialism;  it corrupts everything it touches.

I suppose that's what we should do to them.
Make all their buddies who got 'special' preferences have to sholder the load they tried to foist of on everyone else.

Especially make all the politicians be forced to sign up for Obamacare no matter if they have the means to buy their own insurance. Wealth transfer is wealth transfer, they get to pay to.

20 My only consolation is waiting for the day when the leftists get what they want. For decades, generations now they've been calling America and conservative Americans "fascists" or "totalitarians." At some point, they're going to get their wish. When the rule of law and the Constitution is thoroughly gutted by "progressives," when spying and violence and harassment of the opposition are standard practice for government, and when the chaotic new world disorder has finally thrown up a genuine existential threat, they're going to get what they've been waiting for. And they're not going to like it. For a little while, at least.

81 "One gains the impression that the frustrated derive as much satisfaction--if not more--from the means a mass movement uses as from the ends it advocates. The delight of the frustrated in chaos and in the downfall of the fortunate and properous does not spring from an ecstatic awareness that they are clearing the ground for a heavenly city. In their fanatical cry of "all of nothing at all" the second alternative echoes perhaps a more ardent wish than the first." The True Believer Eric Hoffer 1951

109 One thing I have never seen mentioned regarding Obamacare is the reinsurance fee, that was imposed at around $70 per head ($280 per annum for family of 4).

This is the first argument I would reach for when some idiot says Obamacare didn't affect existing plans.. no, only to the tune of around 12 billion a year for 2014-2016.
