Hack Attack Knocks Out Major Pro-War Blogs
— Ace

The attack is originating "internationally." Hmmmm... wonder who that might be.

Instapundit, Captain's Quarters, Powerline and other blogs hosted by Hosting Matters are all down due to denial-of-service attacks.

I wish they would attack this site. I could use a day off.

1 Bastards. I haven't been able to access my blog all day. Guess that means I'll just have to post my inane crap here.

Like Crocodile vs. Chainsaw. Who wins?

And I don't remember them questioning the 'facts' of Michael Moore's movies, do you?

2 I'm the target, Ace.

3 I wouldn't read too much into the "international" thing. I work at a medium sized datacenter and pretty much all attacks of all forms (DDoS, Spam, etc) originate mostly from international sources. It's usually a combination of poorly secured boxes in eastern europe, asia, and Windows boxes sitting on DSL/Cable modems here in the US.

4 Michelle Malkin (amazing they missed hers) says that Glenn R. is reporting that it's out of Saudi Arabia...

9 A hack attack from Saudi Arabia silences some of the biggest blogs...kind of surprised this didn't rate a post on HotAir.

No denial of service attacks for me but the past few days I've been getting junk trackbacks like nobody's business.

On Wednesday alone, I received over 1,000 junk trackbacks.

Somebody please send me a real trackback just so that I will know that I am loved....

11 My money would be on china, assuming it's not local to the USA and routed through international sources. They did more or less declare internet war on the west a few years back.

12 Aaron's cc blog still down.
The Saudi hackers have been making a concerted effort to silence him in particular for some time now.

There were facts in his movies? :-)

15 Ohhh MAN.

The Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler is still offline.

Misha's gonna be pissed as a hornet when it comes back.
I'm a-gonna be tuned to that channel, my friends.

Anybody else here find it amusing that the Saudi hackers didn't take down any lefty blogs, hmm?

I guess muslim terrorists know who their friends are.

Aaron vents a little steam HERE.

16 You guys also get the feeling that spurwing would be the first at your door holding a pitchfork and a torch if you were harboring a space alien?

17 No, I think he'd be holding a 'Welcome Home' sign and a bottle of Jose Cuervo.

18 I wish they would attack this site. I could use a day off.

I know people who know people... if you know what I mean.

Or at least they know my blog... which is back online.
