Fourth Quarter GDP Revised Up
— Ace

...as was likely.

It was a shabby 1.1%, now it's actually estimated at a not-good but not horrendous 1.6%.

Cowbell? No. But still good news.

1 Hasn't every estimate been revised up?

2 No, that huge one 3d Q 2002 was revised down.

3 okay, so one of 24? has been "optimistic" while 23 have been pessimistic?

4 Correction, 1/21 not 24, I automaticaly went into a 4/6 calc, but, this is in fact only the 21st quarter I think, right? But I still think 94.90% is a success.

5 Let's also not forget that the numbers BEAT EXPECTATIONS.

Just imagine what would happen in the media reported the truth about the economy, driving up consumer confidence and further driving up the economy.

I guess it's just too much to ask; to ask that reporters actually report the news rather than just print/broadcast what they would like the news to be.
