EPIX: No, We're Not Pulling the Katie Couric Mockumentary. But It's Now Available Only On Pay Per View.
— Ace

They say this was always the plan-- debut it on EPIX as part of the station's programming, then move it into a pay-per-view sitch.

"As of today, the doc moves out of the premium window -- off of EPIX -- and into a transactional [video on demand] and [electronic sell-through] window. This is part of the original agreement struck when we acquired the doc," she added. "The distribution strategy allowed us to premiere the doc on the network and also preserve maximum value for the transactional VOD and EST windows that follow."

Eh. I have no idea.

All I know is that Katie Couric is a stupid old whore.

5 Willowed for Nevergiveup: 681 Nevergiveup Did Fredo completely cut off all of his "white family"? I never hear a peep about them? I campaigned hard for his white cousin, Milton Wolf of Kansas (second cousin, once removed). Even walked in parades for him. He was a great candidate, and has a good story about a family meeting with Obama. He was very critical of Obama at the meeting. Obama retaliated and tried to get him fired from his job as a columnist. Wolf would say "you can't chose family, but you can chose who you vote for." He still lost to Roberts, a over-the-hill GOPe Senator for Old Lobbyists in VA. pbho's Mom was from Kansas. Milton Wolf's Mom and pbho's Mom were friends in Wichita. Kansas had nothing to do with how she or her son turned out. Posted by: NaCly Dog at May 31, 2016 06:05 PM (u82oZ)

6 Well... hm. Has anyone deconstructed the rest of this documentary yet? I have a feeling this is not the only case of, ahem, creative editing in the entire film. I also suspect they were probably wildly creative with the facts. Like when they say "polls show 90% of people support universal background checks" even though in many cases 50%+ say they do not support tougher gun laws. because, you know, we already have universal background checks.

Depends on the adjectives you use with it.  If we're talking about a "high-payin' whore," then maybe so; "five-dollar road whore," not so much.  Which category you place Ms. Couric in is strictly up to you.  We report, you decide.

Both in that "profit" doesn't only apply to money, and in that she's doing it for social/career standing, at least in part, which *is* money. Especially in her industry. Which is really not unique on the slut/whore spectrum, when you think about it. The "stupid" and "lying" parts are less controversial.

She also claims that she became Hillary's attorney after they both left State and so refused to ask some questions because of privilege. Only skimmed so there may be more here, or Judicial Watch may ask judge to force more answers. Fox News Catherine Herridge has an interesting exclusive with the State IG who proceeded Hillary's term. (There was no State IG during Hillary's term because they never got around to getting one appointed). Among other things, he confirmed that it took a deliberate act for the 2,100 e-mails with classified information to "jump the gap" between the classified computer networks and Clinton's personal server, and suggested it was done by someone with the necessary security clearance taking a screen shot and re-transmitting. That's a crime right there, which can be proven with the security logs of who accessed what and when. I'm looking at you Huma.

98 David French? Really? Nothing against the guy (couldn't pick him or his writings out of a line-up, so to speak), but ...... he is being mentioned as someone who could actually tip the election into the House? Going just on what y'all are saying around here. Certainly couldn't be bothered to go look it up myself. Wow.

99 These fucking idiots, with less brains than that stupid dead gorilla, decided it was a good idea to show off their tits 1) for equality, and 2) to "stop Trump." Nothing says "equality" to me than dumb girls who want everyone to see their tits.

David French is a good, thoughtful, principled man. The idea that he would have a "real chance" is preposterous.

104 What a very very stupid time to be alive. Posted by: Mister Magoo at May 31, 2016 06:41 PM (jJSCP) At least nobody's suggesting that David French would be a great choice to take on Trump. Can you imagine?

Posted by: Mr Macca Bean at May 31, 2016 01:45 PM (4ng05)

105 LDC, hmmm. Guy sounds pretty odd (and his wife, too). No alcohol? WTF? In the CENTCOM area, in any case, French would be under General Order #1, so that would merely be following orders. Orders that were never broken, BTW. Hey, wait - stop, now don't be looking too closely or certainly don't be sniffing that "Diet Coke" that officer is sipping out there near the Palace pool.

107 omg. How many klutzes did Kristol have to go through before he got to French? How utterly surprising that a writer thinks another writer is the solution.

109 Steely Dan's Aja sold the most and is a darling of the critics. Hard to pick, but I go with Royal Scam for the wonderfully cynical lyrics.

110 Translation. "We bought it and can sell it to SJWs so we are going to do that. We'll pull it from general viewing as placation." Eh. I don't blame them. Make a buck on it as much as you can. Get it out of general viewing so you can't be accused of pushing it as an agenda. Makes sense.

112 90 There is no bad Steely Dan album. Fagan's solo work is great as well. Posted by: Christopher Taylor ------------- Agreed. Wholeheartedly. I was fortunate enough to see them when they first started touring again. Merriweather Post Pavilion. Walking out of the venue, I remarked to my GF, "I've see Steely Dan Live. I can die a happy man now." All the old people around me just about carried me out on their shoulders...

So...has Katie and team posted the full, uncut video yest like PP and Breitbart did?

127 What a plan. You put something out, it's uncovered as a piece of dreck. And you can only get it on pay per view? Normally when you dump BS out on the street, you just clean it up and put it away. These guys however are in the fertilizer business apparently. You know it's BS, they know it's BS and now they are going go charge for it--after giving it away?

131 Two words: William Kristol. Always wrong. It is as Gen. Winfield Scott said of the new President of the Confederacy in 1861, "I am amazed that any man of judgment should hope for the success of any cause in which Jefferson Davis is a leader. There is contamination in his touch."
