Debbie Wasserman-Schultz: Of Course The Democrats Have a Plan To Save Medicare. That Plan is To Demagogue Any Attempts To Save Medicare
— Ace

A horrible, vile woman.

Oddly the media doesn't challenge her on her transparent question-dodging and topic-changing.

As I've been saying for years: It's not that the media won't ask the Democrats tough questions.

They will. They will ask the Democrats tough questions in order to allow the Democrats a three minute sound-bite dump to help the Democratic cause.

What the media will not do is ask the Democrats tough follow-up questions.

They let them have their sound-bite, and then move on.

She's not exactly distinguishing herself out there.

57 That Plan is To Demagogue Any Attempts To Save Medicare

At some point the Cloward Piven strategy becomes an inarguable fact. At which point we need to face several other facts.

1. It will be impossible to save Medicare if the Dems don't work with us.
2. If they are bound and determiner to collapse the system, we need to accept that we can't stop it if they don't want to stop it, and, make plans for taking care of the collapse.

Given all that and the current debt ceiling debate. I say F* em. Pass the debt ceiling with the Ryan budget. If they don't want it. Let 'er F*ing collapse. I'm tired of fighting them to maintain their unsustainable system. Let it collapse while we still have the will to rebuild it.

At the risk of sounding like a complete dumb shit, I have to state the motre-than-obvious:

The House Republicans voted for the Ryan budget because they got so little out of the budget negotiations. They voted for the plan in order to show that they were serious about the debt and deficit.

I don't know if it was a great strategy, but I think the Republicans made a choice between just doing what was safe and the real danger of having a broken base in 2012 due to the House not doing anything before then.

Why is medicare the sticking point???  As I understand it, medicare is for people who paid into the system.  Delete or defund medicaid.  Those people did not pay into the system.  It would also help to stop illegal immigration.

BTW, after several articles about riots in various U.S.cities, Drudge then links to an article about how Obama has given Holder the approval to investigate and prosecute police brutality cases.  Fun times this summer coming to a city near you.

Yes.. that's understandable.. But we cannot win the White House with the base only.  I would have preferred they simply put forth a budget that rolled back the numbers to 2007, or something on that order.  It would have been a bold statement that very few could have argued with politically.

It doesn't really matter that people have paid into Medicare when the benefits received are so much higher than the money paid into the system.

116 Wasserman-SHULTZE!!!! is the female version of Anthony Weiner.  I'd take equal pleasure in taking down such a vile human being.  She's someone who does nothing but spout hyperbole, but when being serious is capable of the specious argument involving conservative strawmen.  I would think you'd want somebody who is intelligent and well spoken for a spokesperson.  I guess not.  The climate of affirmative action from the early 80's has bled into every aspect of life.  To everyone getting a participation trophy to the current president not even being asked about his grades in college.. when just years before, Bush's grades were frontpage stories.   Where the dumbest among us get the top positions.  Its a bizarre world we live in today

118 D W-S is an indiscriminate bomb thrower who never has to answer for her despicable utterances. She is the perfect face and mouth of the Democrat Party. This is the strategy for Dem's in 2012 I guess. Just keep throwing incendiary bombs at Republicans while offering no solutions. Amazing they think they can win with that given the current mess we are in.

135 It seems strange that the Democrat Party, lead by a renowned Jew-hater in Barack Hussein Obama, currently employs so-called Jews as its biggest propagandists: Schumer, Weiner, & DWS.

I guess I'll never understand why American Jews favor the political party that hates them, and will eventually send them to the furnaces after taking their gold.
